How it turns out is not simply a matter of Diggs or no Diggs. There are countless factors, and if we disappoint he’s one of many things to look to. His personality wears thin. Everybody wants to win. Does he want to win more than Josh? .
-
We all know he does cool things with kids, especially in the stadium and in very public ways. That’s all great. That does not negate the problem he can be in team chemistry. .

I’ve only got a couple, and both are pretty generic. I think they were Christmas or birthday gifts. I’ve got a strangely large noggin and a lot of hats just don’t fit. The two I kept are ok at best. If I find a tennis hat that fits well I’ll buy a half dozen of them. My son and I are the ones in the different color helmets when we white water raft. In HS football they couldn’t find a helmet to fit him (and he’s no giant) and the guy told him “that thing is deceptively large!” 😂 I love the retro stuff, and you have a nice collection.

I'm really starting to love this WR room. We quietly got better

That too. Ever the optimist, I’ll take the over on that one. Time will tell. -
I don’t hate Stroud for any reason, but I sure hope Diggs shows his true colors. Let the world know who you are (again), Stef.

I like Keon’s body control. I’m not sure Higgins has that level of athleticism, but I understand the comparison. -
I love our traditional uniforms and logo. I think they are among the best in all of sports. Nice job above, but I prefer the traditional look.

Stadium Construction Discussion (No PSL/Seat selection posts)
Augie replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
Everything a mall used to sell me is now delivered to my door. If we do ever find ourselves in a retail situation, we generally end up taking a picture of the label and ordering from home because they don’t have the exact size, color, etc that I want. Traditional malls are going the way of the typewriter and the abacus. The “lifestyle centers” with restaurants and dinner theaters, etc are the best option for that space, but obviously the location remains critical. My preference would have been a downtown stadium so I could walk to everything from my hotel. I will happily “settle” for anything as long as the Bills remain in WNY. I read what you wrote, and it seemed perfectly clear and sensible to me. Of course, I’m not just trying to pick an argument. -
I spent four hours at a funeral (seriously). At least I liked him a lot, and I didn’t see any more of that game.

Just quit the season. That performance was pathetic

Are you saying you will buy all of us Indian food? I think you’ll have some takers on that! -
….and by “executive”, they mean that he’s the VP in charge of laundering towels after practice.

I'll be that guy... how to watch Bills-Bears?

But first…….grab one of those giant carts and pick out the longest extension cord and one of those massage chairs. Set up right in front of the big screen, and invite all your friends. Don’t forget to bring a sign that says “Reserved” in case you need to hit the can or look for snacks. Losing your seat would be a rookie mistake. -
I think you’ll be fine. There are other lots. Twenty years from now you and the kids will remember the game and the time together, and parking won’t even come to mind.

I remember my oldest sister getting married, and Fr Timlin basically said from the altar “I don’t know why we bother, almost everyone winds up divorced!” I didn’t pick up that maybe he’d been drinking, but I was younger then. I think she might have stayed married just to prove him wrong! Are priests allowed to use tools like that??? -
He will provide all the contractors, and save time because they are already owned by the unions and scammers so there will be no new negotiations needed. I call it being practical.

It’s the preseason, so I’m thinking with my eyes closed? I kid, mostly. Despite other obligations it’s set for record. You have to see a bit of the new guys, right? -
He just wants to win. Before preseason! He hopes to eventually do it in Dallas with his bother, so the Texans gave us the Vikes 2nd rounder then chopped years off his commitment. I’ll take the Vikes second over a guy who seems to have quit on his team, despite my desire for a stud to free everyone else up. .

I don’t know if people are turning their noses up as much as they are just being practical.

My wife had Firecracker, a hunter/jumper as a kid and the way I understand it, it’s a personal relationship and trust that develops between rider and horse. It’s one thing to be handed a strange horse to go trail riding, which the horse can do in its sleep. It’s something else to ask a stranger to have reliable control over the animals in new and stressful situations. I hope the regular equestrian events remain untouched. My wife has enjoyed that immensely this year. Side note: we went to Paris last spring and our guide on the trip to Versailles pointed out the stables nearby where the horses were to be based. Not your ordinary stables, according to this untrained eye. More like a Ritz for horses, but it smelled just like any other stable when we went by. My wife rolled the window down and took deep breaths! 😂 .

I believe Aiyuk has already turned the Pats down, even thought they were willing to back up the Brinks truck. Apparently, being a Diva does not mean you are stupid.

What would you give up if it guaranteed a Bills SB victory this year?

I would refrain from reminding all of the “one before I die” crowd that they are no longer allowed to whine. For a while. -
I don’t think a high school mentality will come into play here. There are a lot of other serious, grown up and financial factors that come into play. He’s under contract, on a good team and they will just keep rolling his deal over as needed. Just my opinion.
-
So, we don’t suck? Other teams are going to be hot after our scraps, like we used to be at cutdown time. We have some spots I’d certainly like to improve, but I like our chances. That’s not quite how it works. He has a forever contract. It’s an exercise of gradually climbing the ladder as the tide rises and keeping the QB as “the bank of cap adjustments”. I love him too, he will be paid, and he will work with the team as needed for cap reasons.

Josh is a great guy, and no dummy.

I went to lunch one day at a place in Blowing Rock, NC last week because they had a Bills Mafia Pizza on the menu. They are not just in Sicily anymore.
