  1. After Butch Byrd, Winfield is my all-time favorite Bills CB. I can still see him sprinting in to stop a sweep, slide under the pulling OL like he was on the Dodgers going into 2nd base, then pop up and wrap up on the RB. (Remember wrapping up? It used to be a thing.) It was an iconic play to me, not far behind Don Beebe running down Leon Lett to knock the ball loose. A thing of beauty.
  2. So how’s that going for you? 😂 It helps if we lose to the NFC teams, right? I think I read that somewhere…….
  3. I don’t need, or even want, attention now. Just keep getting better. I think adding Cooper changes my picture of the Bills, but it’s not going to happen overnight. Keep growing and improving and stay relatively healthy, then we have a chance.
  4. I have to admit, I saw no need to take it that deep. Although I love it when he shows his work. 😂

  6. I was hoping for a little flash of tax return, but it looks like that’s not going to happen now. 😊
  7. Didn’t some school districts classify ketchup as a serving of vegetables? I really think that was a thing. So they got that going for it. 🤷‍♂️
  8. He wasn’t trying to run fast. He was playing football. Even if you argue that the math is calculated properly, you run faster in a straight line than in an arc. Oh, and I’ll argue that looking back to see where the defenders were behind him led him to go further left. That would slow him down to look back, but he gained a lot of extra yards because of it. It’s football, not track.

I was hoping I misunderstood the title.
  10. Good for you! I didn’t make it thru the vetting process. It was college, after all. 🤷‍♂️
  11. I don’t think this thread should be closed until Keon catches up! 😊 Speed isn’t everything. He has enough attributes to make plays. He’s making plays! That TD that got called back was still the kind of beautiful thing that I hope to see more of.
  12. Maybe briefly if McD gets fired? You know, the guy with the best winning % in team history? The guy who has the second best winning % in professional US sports in recent years. Yeah, firing that coach would probably make him happy. I hated the start as much as anyone. But it sure felt good to see things turn around and watch Josh, Coleman and Cooper make plays. It felt good again and I enjoyed watching. A lot to work on, but it was fun to watch again. I want to see the “Good Bills” show up in the playoffs! .
  13. What’s the opposite of a fanboy? Just using that term in an attempt to demean is telling.
  14. Well, at least it didn’t happen in Mexico City or Berlin……so they got that part right.
  15. …and the Jags get to play “road games” in London. Two weeks in a row. Again.
  16. Sure things still exist. To what extent will they excel? That is to be determined. They have played, and most have played against the best of their generation. Evaluate that.
  17. No.
  18. So, are we in a better mood now? 😊
  19. This is one of the things that makes my interest in the NFL fade. Goodell’s “experiment” last year was all we needed to know, but they just keep doing it. I feel like I care more for the integrity of the games than the league does, so maybe I should care less.
  20. I may have been. I just realized the neighborhood holiday party at our house (about 70 people last year) is at 6pm on the same day the Bills play in LA at 4:30. I’m afraid my reputation will spread, but that’s life!
  21. Go CHEATERS! They need to win all the games they can. I don’t want them leading off the draft. Get a few cheap W’s.
  22. I watched a Mason Rudolph game having lunch at the bar at Puckett’s in Nashville. He was a senior, and we all knew we needed a QB. He looked very intriguing to me. I mentioned I was at a bar, right?
  23. Not speaking for you, but I’ve asked that of myself after several games in my Bills history.
  24. These kids have been throwing thousands of passes in 7 on 7’s and summer camps since middle school. Those things did not always exist the way they do now, so more kids are being prepared at a younger age.
  25. Still no excuse. That was obvious IMO, and they should have huddled up and gotten it right. Gravity applies to everybody. Even the QB says it was silly, so I feel pretty confident in my feelings on this.
