  1. Roughing the passer is the new “was that a catch?” The one Rodgers admits was nonsense infuriated me. In what world was that roughing? 😡 .
  2. I always get that confused, was that before or after Lewis and Clark? .
  3. Last name? Clavin.
  4. I’m lazy, but my mind is thinking Eddie Murphy and Coming to America. “He be good!” OK, I can forgive that.
  5. The best news is, we get to see a lot more football before anything has to be decided. If he’s Super Bowl MVP, that might change some minds.
  6. Two Words: Taylor Swift I’m not signing up for any services of any kind to watch Taylor Swift TV. Haven’t they milked that enough? I’d prefer we watch and talk about football when I’m, ya know, watching a football game.
  7. When you slept thru class, you take what you can get. Really. Trust me. This is subject matter where I could serve as an expert witness. You see, I was in this dart league, and, well……it went late.
  8. I’m not sure how many services I have, but I watched the Chiefs/Dolphins playoff game in a bar on some guys phone. A PLAYOFF GAME, and the only way to see it at this resort is on a stranger’s phone. He’s there with his family, and we’re all watching on his tiny phone! I just found something that said they got 2.8 million new subscribers with that ploy. That pisses me off. BTW - the guy I watched with turns out to be a former Patriot who played a bunch of games at the Ralph and had funny stories. He happens to be from my wife’s home town and he knows all her cousins. He got millions in the CTE suit. When we left he said “if I see you tomorrow and don’t recognize you, don’t be offended. I’m not drunk, but I just can’t remember $%#t any more.”
  9. I used to think Whole Foods was super expensive, then I realized a lot of their fish was less expensive than Publix. A bottle of wine Publix sells for $17 can be had at the wine store for $10.97. It’s an OK Hampton Inn type of experience at Ritz prices. But they have 3 locations less than 2 miles from me in any direction. I pay for convenience, and they know that very well. 🤷‍♂️ .
  10. Wait! It looks like he might get a DUI right there! 😂
  11. Like Jay Wright before him, we are losing quality coaches who have plenty left in the tank because the rules of the game have changed. NIL and the portal have changed the landscape completely. They don’t need the money, and I don’t blame them for seeking quality of life.
  12. CliffsNotes.
  13. They lost me to some degree by adding all the streaming services. If you want to make it harder to watch, I just might skip it. That is the calculated decision they made to make more money. Also, being the “home team” in London against the Jags who arrived a week earlier and have been cultivating a fan base there for more than a decade doesn’t pass the smell test. I’ll always be a Bills fan, but my interest in the rest of the NFL is waning.
  14. You don’t have to crap your pants at home to get our approval. That is completely up to you.
  15. I don’t mean to get political here, but he appears to lean mustard. I’m just sayin’.
  16. He could never accept that Jimmy Johnson was the brains that made the whole thing work. Three decades later, I think it’s pretty clear.
  17. I believe the REAL mistake is the owner, and everything else is just what rolls downhill. Good luck, Browns fans, and that is heartfelt.
  18. The environment is just too rich….and I don’t know where to start! 😱 .
  19. Did we learn nothing from The Von Miller Experiment? You can’t take big swings and MISS, and not face the wrath of TBD. 😂 Honestly, Von getting hurt was a bigger event than a lot of the things that have happened since then that influenced games. People are always calling to go all in, WIN NOW, but it can kick you where you don’t want to be kicked, too. Let’s get Von off the books before we double down.
  20. I was staying at the Hampton Inn right by there on Main St for the opener. They always have live music along there, but that night I think it was “a thing” and I believe 10 different places had live music. I wish I could have hit more of it. Does anyone know if that is a regularly scheduled thing? That would be fun if it falls right for the OP.
  21. One of the many things our kids wouldn’t believe. You might have gotten away with a library card! I could have been Johnny Unitas! 😂 I remember seeing some guy just swerve into a yard and knock over the mailbox. The cops came and told him he could drive home slowly and they would just follow him. Try that these days and you get a very different response! .
  22. It’s a lot of pages, but the lawyers explained most of it to me. I promised to be better, but they still have my picture up. Duffs was actually our beer drinking spot when I was still underaged. I’d go in with older buddies and get pitchers without ever being questioned. We sat at tables, so I never really realized there is little/no bar. On a trip back a few years ago it was packed with people waiting outside on a Saturday. I managed to park and thought I might grab a single seat at the bar. Nope, and I’m not going to wait that long or take up a table by myself.
  23. Oh, what I would give for a Wegman’s near me! Like a beautiful view, you probably start to let your appreciation fade. Visiting Wegman’s was actually on my list to to-do things when I was back in September. I’m at a Publix 5-6 days a week, and there is no comparison. I have ketchup, chili sauce and 4 different mustards in the fridge. I actually thought it would be more, but ran out of the coarse ground stuff. There is a time and a place for each. Ketchup is just ketchup, but it has its own place.
  24. Mayo, huh? That’s OK, you are among friends here. We won’t judge you for that. .as far as you know…..
  25. I can’t get into Duff’s when it’s just me. 🤷‍♂️ Main St in Williamsville has a collection of places that would work, all within walking/stumbling distance.
