Gunner's 2024 Mock Draft - FINAL v3.0 NOW LIVE (p.13)
BillsShredder83 replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have yet to see anyone say this. Out of curiosity what do you like better about Colemans game then Leggett? They seem similar'ish types, but I have Coleman a tier lower at basically everything they do, just my opinion of course -
Gunner's 2024 Mock Draft - FINAL v3.0 NOW LIVE (p.13)
BillsShredder83 replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
F***. I been thinking this revenge pick from last draft, was going to happen, and hate to see it even in early writing. This feels around where hes going. Think he even pushes up boards as we get closer, hope we have a plan in place to leap frog. -
Kazoos? Def sounds a little to high for ol Mac
-
who is a plodder on the defense, the guys weve drafted have been geared towards being smaller/quick. the only guys that didnt have speed were the older guys that have been around a while. poyer, hyde and Tre. its time to move on for sure, but i cant criticize beane for having these guys around this year. hyde was always gunna be here, poyer just kinda worked out on team friendly deal, and we needed to see what tre had after eating that bullet last year Coleman

Did coaching drop a deep shot that hit a receiver in the hands? so diggs acquisition was bad because of this play, diggs is a negative on BBs resume? Sherfields first drop, his arm was pinned down. second one was a tough play he shouldve came down with but not a gimme. each year Beane has kind of picked one position group to focus mainly on, last year was OL and it paid major dividendes, with lots of meat on the bone still Did coaching get manhandled back into the QB in the clutch? One play. Did you watch chris jones yesterday, or any other playoff stretch. the dude is maybe the best disruptor in the league for a long time now Did coaching get scorched by a 34 yo tight end in single coverage? yeah kinda. beane has handled the LBer position supremely. Bernard, when nobody on this board or league saw this coming? let tremaine walk, thats balls. milano can cook. spector, dodson, williams all showing major upside. thats 5 quality LB'ers, with 1 all-pro, and another pro bowl caliber.... at a position we only use 2 on the field, thats killer depth, not beanes fault we got gutted there Was coaching incapable of winning a pass rush battle all game? when its playoff time the last few years it feels few and far between any DL has been able to get to the QB, let alone Mahomes. Even non-mahomes guys have just been too quick at getting the ball out, neutralizing DL's pass rush. 100% of the reason im not wanting premier draft picks expended there. you acquire these guys with high picks (the kind we cant get) or high dollar FA. anyone criticizing the von miller deal now is victim of MMQB. hes exactlyu what we needed, its too bad that knee biting turf in Detroit did him in, but again no way of beane knowing hed get hurt. the guy was very healthy 90% of his career, and showed a s*** ton left in the tank in Denver and LA

Bills need a hardnosed, blunt QB coach
BillsShredder83 replied to Back2Buff's topic in The Stadium Wall
this comes off as a "i saw him in 4 commercials this year and his gf isnt a farmer" vibes Especially with brady being upstairs for our games lol what do we have at all to draw that information on hahaha we've never even seen them within 5 floors of each other -
the fact that in your chart only 3 had 20+ contested TARGETS, really tells a story..... only 20 targets that aline with someone's strongest skill set, is not enough to depend on. great for redzone, but not a guy that really has any chance at being a #1 WR down the road. there are plenty of WRs whos best skill set leads to getting separation, these guys see 80-120+ targets for doing this. jump ball guy is too niche of a skill for my liking in the first round good question bro. honestly he disappeared in far too many games for my liking as well.... now if he slides down the board, id be a lot more interested later on
-
very sorry to hear this. i know this board can bicker and argue, but im proud to be here when i can see an outpouring of love like this, i hope somehow this place can bring even a drop of peace to you ❤️

Lol, this entertained me way more than it should 😆😆😆

Deep passes and consistent don't go together very often. Remember the lovely intermediate routes josh was feasting on in 2020. With Stef and smoke and gabe. *That* was consistent and repeatable. Troy Franklin is my guy for that!!!
-
Dane and despite the blowback this gets Hamlin. 6th and 7th, but overall I agree with the points
-
You guys aren't scared he's too Gabe Davis like? Either making big plays or disappearing? Give me ol steady Troy Franklin all day. I want a balanced receiver thar josh can count on getting the ball to several times a game, every game. Thomas is more of a finisher when your wr room is already stocked IMO

seems like its going to come down to: 1. malicious - for unknown reasons 2. OD, the alive one was on hard drugs too, woke up to dead friends. panicked, froze, did nothing out of fear, and is now playing dumb. im leaning towards #2 now that i think of it. would be REEALLYYYYYYY interesting if the toxicology comes back clean/low alcohol/weed.... thats venturing into Netflix series territory
-
Was my first thought too...... but more coming out now https://nypost.com/2024/01/24/news/dad-of-kansas-city-chiefs-fan-who-died-in-yard-eyes-drugs/ 100% there are going to be drugs involved, whether the "fun" kind or malicious placement. As a recovering addict i know the disease doesnt discriminate, but the guy is a "respected HIV scientist".... that doesnt exactly scream friends that f* with opiates. The sleep w/ noise cancel and fan thing being brought up so quick is weird.... thats not normal behavior and would be pretty convenient for a killer to offer up. Pics of the house show its in a very residential neighborhood, his coat was insiide. Like his dad said, he coulda kicked in a window, or knocked on any of the 20 houses within a 2minute walk of there, in an emergency. Im obviously speculating bc its interesting, but the whole story smells to high hell

Feel this. Bills Chiefs 13secs game, on paperrrrr, was the greatest playoff game of the last decade.... and I didn't "enjoy" it, and can't even watch Bills positive highlights from it lol Even those give me the same feeling of No Goal as a heartbroken 11year old at 2am. I'm like flinchy about that type of punishment coming again today ughhhhh. Andddddd I quit drinking 4 years ago lol so guess I gotta deal with this pregame jitters raw

Kansas City at Buffalo in the Divisional Round!
BillsShredder83 replied to chongli's topic in The Stadium Wall
i hope so but think not likely based on the slow procedures for concussion protocol. ESPECIALLY, on a quick turn around. its like: CONCUSSION PROTOCOL day 1: baseline neurological test - pass and go to step 2, fail try again tmrw phase 2: light cardio, then baseline test - pass and go to step 2, fail try again tmrw phase 3: red jersey? or maybe just drills, then baseline test, fail = repeat phase 4: full practice participant, baseline test-------------- pass and you can play, fail = repeat so even the lightest, quickest healing concussion is 4 day process minimum (i believe, going off memory).... tough road to pass on 6 days rest, and it not being his first of the season -
TMZ reports Irsay likely OD'd last month.

makes it worse actually. odd to say, but for being a billionaire with an opiate addiction hes shown pretty good "restraint". ive known addicts who need narcan anytime their net worth gets into double digits -
Zerovoltz loses bet and pays the bill
BillsShredder83 replied to Zerovoltz's topic in The Stadium Wall

When I bet buff I refuse to bet anything that would hurt buff but help my bet. I'd hate cheering 4 that, not judging at all. I'd kinda liked pitt +10 before the delay and still refused to pick it lol I'm glad. $5 Into $65 on gb game. Had: Gb $line Love over 1.5 td Dak & Love over yards Ov 52.5 Took that $65 and hit on 2 diff bills bets, to win another $100 yesterday Bills $line + josh td. Bet 55 at basically -100 Then hit $10 Bills $line, josh td, josh over rush, cook over yards $5 ---> $165 Planning to take whatever that sum ends up as and keep throwing at bills ML, ride or die rest of way 🤷♂️
