  1. Yeah, Trevor didn't have a good game that week lol. 4 lost fumbles and threw a pick, but they only lost by 8.
  2. She must be doing something right(Or in this case several things). 7 days shy of her 35th birthday and she's worth $1.7 billion.
  3. Yeah, I just watched those 2 a week or so ago. CC said more good things about Josh week 1 than I've ever heard him say. In the past he would say things about him that seemed more like backhanded compliments. He was in full ball washing mode that night. When he compared Josh's play that night to that of Brady's, I nearly fainted. But Josh was playing far different then and the playcalling made so much more sense. Quick hitting passes, with some runs sprinkled in and calling/hitting the deep pass when it made sense. Most of the deep passes were coming in the 2nd half once the secondary started creeping up and sitting on the shorter routes. They were so well set up Josh either completed all or most of them iirc.
  4. I agree and was going to post something similar. Ben repeatedly held onto the ball and took sacks & huge hits in hopes of hitting the big play downfield. I just had this argument with 29 years of fanhood right before week 18.
  5. If no one else wants to hear your b!tching and even half the people on a Bills message board don't want to hear it, what should that be telling you? I have no problem with people coming on here to vent about a loss after a game and I get that when that last loss occurs in the playoffs that it will last longer, but we're at the 3 week mark and it just keeps rolling on and on and on. Repetitive threads saying the same thing, single posters just repeating the premise 100 times over and over again, multipled by how ever many of you there are. I find it odd that many of these posters were the very same people saying the Bills players needed to get over what they saw on the field when Hamlin went down. We had to listen to that on a loop for a few weeks also. Yet these are the same fans can't put a playoff loss behind them 3 full weeks later? A life vs a game, big difference between the two. Instead let's b!tch about A.) Something we have no control over and B.) Isn't going to happen for at least this year and probably the year after. With Kim Pegula and Damar Hamlin both having cardiac arrests and how Sean handled the situation in the weeks afterwards do you honestly believe Terry is firing Sean anytime soon? I don't see it happening for at least 2-3 years, Terry seems like a big softy to me. So in knowing that, I not going to spend my time b!tching about something that isn't going to happen.
  6. Stop. Very few, if any are just content on making the playoffs. What do you people do when real bad **** happens in your personal lives? Run to a forum and whine and cry about it? Run to a corner of a dark room and cry yourselves to sleep? Time to take the dresses off and put your big boy pants on, it's been long enough.
  7. From what I've seen over the last 3 weeks is there are a greater number of overgrown todders who don't have control over their emotions than rational people here. The constant whining, crying, blubbering, ranting & raving has been at a level like nothing I've seen on this board before. I've been comparing it to a small child screaming & crying because mommy didn't buy them ice cream. And for what? Another McBeane have to go or else thread or there must be accountability thread? Like they get a say in the matter. It's all for nothing, but hey they get to ***** and moan about it. Hate to see how these people deal with real adversity and trying times in life. My parents would've knocked me into next week if I acted like they are as a child, let alone as an adult.
  8. If the above is true then why did he elect to go for it on 4th down 4 times against KC in the playoffs last year? He went for it on 4th down from the 50 on the opening drive of the game and again later in the drive on 4th and goal. He went for it on 4th down twice again on our 2nd to last td drive in the 4th. He also went for it on 4th down against KC on the opening drive of their playoff game the year prior and once again it was near midfield at KCs 48. He's 6/6 against KC on 4th down in their last 2 playoff games. He could've punted or kicked fgs in any of those situations and trusted his defense, but he didn't, he trusted Josh would get the 1st down/td.
  9. Is that it? And how long have they been searching for this QB? You're making it sound alot easier than it is. They also have no money while not paying for at the very least, an above average, veteran QB. Also if their trajectory surpasses that of the Bills why didn't they make up much ground this year? They had the same QBs and killed it in the draft, but finished 6.5 games back. Shaving off only a half game from last years 7 game deficit.
  10. But having a an elite QB is what it's all about in the NFL. Assembling a great roster minus a top 5 or even top 10 QB does you no good. We will be the favorite again to win the division. No other team in this division was nearly good enough last year. We won the division by 4.5 games, 5 in the loss column. That's a bigger lead than any other division winner had at the end of the season. It was much harder winning the division against NE the year before. We've actually widen the gap between us and 2nd place by 3.5 games this year over last as we only won the division by 1 game in 2021. We also widen the gap with the Dolphins by 2.5 as in 2021 they only finished 2 games in back of us. The Jets marginally closed the gap going from 7 games back last year to 6.5 games back this year.
  11. You sound like the Bills have finally broken your faith lol. Well it's a choice, I choose not to feel that way. You do have to be able to assemble the team in order to win it all, but at the same time you gotta have some luck along the way also. We were not lucky with injuries this year as we have been in the past. I would agree the team squandered good opportunities in 2020 & 2021. The 1st 2 years with Josh he wasn't ready to lead this team to a Super Bowl. As I already stated I agree with 2020 & 2021 and with who was injured this year going into the playoffs we weren't winning it anyways, whether we lost to the Bengals or the Chiefs is inconsequential. So I do agree that 2 of Josh's 5 years here were squandered. But at the same time I'm not going to go around and be angry, rant, rave, whine or cry about it as many on this board have been doing for 3 weeks. It does absolutely no good to do so. After 45 years of being a Bills fan and living through 4 straight Super Bowl loses, this is child's play. I will always be optimistic as long as we have a QB like Josh. Remember at one point Bill Belichick & Tom Brady went 10 years in between Super Bowl wins #3 & #4 going 9-8 in the playoffs during that span. I'm sure there were a ton of Pats fans screaming that Brady's window was closing for most of those 10 years. Then they won 3 more in the next 5 years. I'm not going to ever see it your way and I'm sure you'll never see it mine. And that's fine, that's how it should be. Everyone has an opinion and they're not always going to align with everyone else. I think we'll have to agree to disagree on this one my Bills friend.
  12. Still counts for more, otherwise the Dolphins or the Jets would've made it further than the Bills.
  13. The Bills do have the best roster and will come opening day 2023. QB counts for far more than any other player on a team, especially a top 2 or 3 QB. We've had plenty of years in the past with a really good roster, but couldn't get anything that resembled a franchise QB, like the Jets roster currently sits. Until they get a QB everything else doesn’t matter, they won't be a true contender to unseat us or go deep in the playoffs.
  14. They closed the gap? NE was closer in 2021. Slight edge lol? Miami was the closest this year 4.5 games back.😂 That's not what this thread is about. Why do you feel it's necessary to keep regurgitating the same thing over and over again? Pretty sure by now everyone knows what your thoughts are on the playoffs.
  15. That's not how the NFL works. It's who's got a franchise QB and everything else is secondary.
  16. So in your mock we're allowed to trade FAs and somehow a 7th round pick is gifted to us by the league? Damn we're getting the Pats treatment this offseason!😂
  17. 😂 I was going to post the same thing. Oh, John from Riverside must be too good to tell us his name and where he's from. Well excuuuse me.
  18. It's not up to us to decide on how many chances he gets. I guess I would put it this way. I wouldn't have had a problem if they let him go after the loss in the playoffs to KC last year. I thought he deserved it. This year the injuries make that decision more murky. While it's true using injuries for reason of losing can be making excuses, not in this case though. Having 4 former All-Pros either out or really limited because of injury is not an excuse in this case, it's the reason. Again name me a team that can lose or have their play really limited 4 All-Pro caliber players, 4 of their 5 best players on defense. Their best pass rusher, their All-Pro Free Safety, #2 Free Safety and number #3 Free Safety during the game. Then have your 1st team All-Pro Strong Safety with 1 arm and 1 leg, your best CB, a 2 time All-Pro playing on 1 leg. Jones, your best guy in the middle of the DL, out. Another DT playing with 1 arm. No defense in this league could lose that much talent and hold Cincy’s offense down. None.
  19. I don't think I like this thread at all. You are all LIARS!!! @Shaw66 A mostly retired lawyer? Wtf. I used to picture an old time Bills OL, now all I picture is Matlock. @Dan Darragh An old-timin Bills QB, nope. Still don't know who he is, but it sounds like he has alot close associates who have connections to the mob. @Draconator Hmmmm. I really didn’t know what to think of you, but it sure the **** wasn't Ken who's employed at Yahoo, a real estate agent AND in a band. Are you also a secret agent by night? @Don Otreply Yeah I know I'm not supposed to reply, but I gotta. Soooo you're not Don, you're Jeff? Jeff you no longer are allowed to be grumpy, you're living a dream life. Good for you.👍 You mentioned you were going to Bermuda on you way back home. Did you ask permission, it's rude not to? Here I will for you, Hey@Bermuda Triangle is it ok if Don, 🤬, Jeff here visits on his way back home? You can never be too safe when concerning urban legends. @WhoTom We finally get to someone who's not a liar, as his name really is Tom. Thanks Tom for restoring my faith in humanity! You sir are a very accomplished individual, but watch out @Draconator is hot on your trail. Did you know he's a secret agent? @Fleezoid Would've never guessed you were the beautiful young lady in the Airplane movies. Yeah, that's all I got. @Gugny Way too much to unpack here, but your head really isn’t baseball? Biggest surprise out of it all. Pretty sure everyone already knew you were sleeping with your mom. Me? I really do Love Me Some Bills. Even though they love to rip my heart out, repeatedly, over and over again. Been a fan for 45 years now. Rooting in wine country, in the central Finger Lakes. Home to over 100 wineries & breweries......hiccup.🍻 I've been a laborer, graphic designer and thought I finally got what I wanted being in management. While I excelled at it, I'm just not meant to sit behind a desk. Way too much energy. So now? Now I'm a lumberjack lol. First time working outside and I love it. And I'm making as much as when I was in management while working less hours. Just wanted to say thank you to everyone on this board. While at times frustrating, this place is filled with great people and is a great place to come discuss our team. God bless. GO BILLS!!
  20. Bosa? No, nor should he be. Bosa was a 2nd overall pick, Groot was the 30th pick. DEs that are 2nd overall picks should outplay DEs that are 30th overall picks by a good margin. Do I think he could have a career like Chris Jones, as far as sacks are concerned, sure. Jones has 2 years where he's had 15.5 sacks, the other 5 he failed to hit double digits On top of that you're talking about a 4 year pro & a 7 year pro vs a 2 year pro, they have experience on him. He had 8 sacks in 13 games. I could see him getting 10-14 sacks on a yearly basis starting next year. That very Chris Jones like, even a little better. Which makes sense because Jones' draft position was much closer to Groot's(30th vs 37th). He showed improvement. He had twice as many sacks this year vs last year, in 4 less games.
  21. Well now we don't, but this deserves it's own thread. Congrats Damar. 👏
  22. We've beaten KC in KC in the last 2 regular seasons, holding them to 20 points both times. KC went to the AFCCG last year & will be, at the very least, the Super Bowl runner up this year. This year KC's offense was 1st in ypg & ppg. Last year they were 3rd & 4th respectively. We also beat Miami(Pre concussion Tua) and Baltimore, all 3 of those teams were averaging over 30 ppg when we played them. We held Miami to 21, 7 of that was a result of a gift wrapped turnover inside our own 10. And we held Baltimore to 20, again turnovers gave them a 4 yard td drive and a 12 yard fg drive. All 3 were on the road, in a 4 week span and none were mid-level offensesat that time. This defense was really good before the injuries piled up, ranking #1 in the league with one of the hardest schedules at that point. If you want to talk about the KC losses in the playoffs the last 2 years, I'm with ya. They were horrible in those 2 games. But they lost so much high level talent on that defense to injuries this year, I don't see how anyone could've thought they were beating Cincy, including me. Hyde and Von not playing, Poyer was so injured he couldn't run anymore and Tre was no where near pre-ACL surgery Tre. We were on our 3rd and 4th string Free Safeties in the Cincy game trying to stop the best WR trio in the league. Add to that no Jones on the DL and Phillips playing with 1 arm. No defense in the NFL this year could lose that much talent and hold Cincy’s offense down. 0 chance of that happening.
  23. That's not how it works. Yes his first 3 years in the league he stayed healthy, but he's shown the opposite since. He missed a minimum of 25% of the season in 4 of the last 5 years, 7, 0 4, 5 & 12 games missed over that time. There is no minimizing that fact. He'll be 30 in June and based on the last several years, his best days are behind him. We have no cap space for players that can't stay healthy.
