  1. Whether they played us hard or not has no bearing on the question have they significantly improved thus far in FA vs just got better.
  2. Miami improving significantly and Miami being better are 2 totally different takes. You stepped it down to try and get him to agree with you lol. Miami is NOT significantly better than they were. Sorry, but that's a horrible take. Better, yes, significantly better, hell no.
  3. His stats vs Jakobi Meyer's, over the last 4 years are nearly identical except Renfroe has twice as many tds.
  4. He made $1.272 million last year, which is what the 45 punts would be based off of. How can you base last year's punt numbers off this year's salary?
  5. How much do you make(Or I should say how little)? He made $28,277.77 per punt last year.
  6. And that's counting each as the 1st pick in each round. If Carolina finishes middle of the pack the next 2 years it's equivalent to the 13th-14th overall pick. Every year removed the pick is valued 1 round less. So the 2nd in 2025 is valued as a 4th in this year's draft.
  7. The 1st next year is valued as a 2nd this year and the 2nd in 2025 is valued as a 4th. If those two picks were the 1st pick in each round that's 696 points, let's round it to 700 for ease. Difference between 1st overall pick and the 9th is 1,650. That means DJ Moore is valued as the 17th overall pick in the draft(950 points).
  8. Yup, with what 4 of our 5 best defenders not playing or playing far less than 100% and our QB with a bad elbow injury and probably shouldn't even have been playing for a stretch. The Hamlin injury. Yes that's all going to repeat itself this year also. Still won our division by more games than any other team did. Combined the Dolphins and the Jets lost 13 other last 14 games with the only win being a 11-6 fg fest in which the Dolphins were playing the Jets, so someone had to win that one.
  9. That's bull and you know it. Year 1 of Allen, team is in cap hell with 33% of our cap gone to dead cap hits vs the spending to acquire the talent on our 2020 squad. Far different circumstances. 4 or 5 game max. I don't see them winning more than 11 or 12 games this year and that's only IF they do acquire Mr. Rodgers.
  10. I see it as we won our division by a bigger margin than any other team while losing Hyde after game 2, Poyer wasn't the same after the hit he took in week 4, Tre missing a ton of games and never getting anywhere close to 100%, Von tearing his acl and Allen's elbow injury. We payed our dues to the injury Gods. I don't see that happening again this year either.
  11. But it didn't translate into their overall record, which is the most important thing. The division isn't closing fast, I just provided proof of it. We won our division by more games than any team in football this year. Close games don't count in the standings, only wins and losses. With overall record having the highest importance. They were 4.5 games ahead of the Dolphins and 6.5 games ahead of the Jets at the end of the year. Provided we only played 16 games and they're as good as you're saying, I would say that's down right impressive what they did. I don't see either team making up that much ground in a year.
  12. If anyone is acting like they're smoking crack it's you. Rodgers will be 40 before the year is out and hasn't taken the absurd steps Brady did to extend his career into his 40s. He won't be around in another 1 or 2 and even if he does come to NY he's not winning a title there. They will have to give up a boatload of resources for him. I think this will make the Jets weaker, sooner than if they don't make the deal. Much like Von's signing, the deal wouldn't be a success unless they win a title and I don't see that happening. I don't even see them winning the division. As you said QB trumps everything, I'll take Allen in his prime over a 40 year old Rodgers anyday. By the way the Jets HC is a former DC also and has accomplished far less than McDermott has as a HC. They also don't have a brilliant offensive mind either, which seems to be one of your requirements. So, once again, by your logic there's nothing to worry about.
  13. But by your own admission they had the OROY & DROY just this year and didn't accomplish anything over 2021 or even make up ground in the standings. They were playing with the same QBs they were the year before and the team was largely the same, yet acquiring those 2 talents meant next to nothing in the results. Will they get better with Rodgers, sure, but does that translate into a 7 game swing in the division standings? I highly doubt. But, please feel free to continue your offseason the sky is falling activities.
  14. Yes they had the OROY & DROY this year and what did it get them? They went from finishing 7 games behind us in 2021 to 6.5 games behind us in 2022. That netted them a whole half game in the standings while starting the same QBs in both years.
  15. Why does it make you nervous? You act as though it was close. Buffalo won the east by a wider margin than any other division winner this past year. They currently have a stranglehold on the division and that only grew stronger in 2022 vs 2021, when they only won the division by a single game. Until proven otherwise Buffalo owns this division.
  16. Their comparison for Diggs was Harry Douglas. Douglas only started a 1/3 of the games he played and Diggs had more tds in 2022 than Douglas did in his 9 year career.😂 Funny thing is Benjamin and Douglas have almost identical career numbers except Benjamin had twice as many tds in his career.
  17. The Cowboys are the most valuable franchise and just added $2.3 billion in value over the last 2 years($1.5 billion in 2022 alone). The Pats added $2 billion over the last 2 years. The Rams $2.2 billion. Imagine if the Cowboys had won a Super Bowl in those 2 years how much more would they be worth? Someone will overpay for the Commanders, once that happens there will be another big adjustment and once the money from the TV deals really start to flow. To say they would be a top 10 value team is asinine, I just showed the top teams are increasing more in value than they are. Their values aren't just going to sit idle, while Buffalo's increases. $8 billion won't get you in the top 10 once their stadium opens.
  18. The $3.4 billion valuation is actually from 2022, not 2023.
  19. The Bills for one have more than doubled from 2018-2022. Their value just rose almost 50% in the last year. 2021 - $2.3 billion, 2022 - $3.4 billion. My guess is once Washington sells there will be a big increase again. Add a Super Bowl beforehand and $8 billion is totally doable.
  20. I agree. It went up almost 50% in just the last year(2021-2022) from $2.3 to $3.4 billion.
  21. Poyer had a great 1st half of the year, but there was a definite drop off in play in the back half. I agree about McDermott, I think we could be even better if he's calling the plays. I think he has a better feel for the game and would make adjustments quicker, jmo. Offensive HCs do it, so why not?
  22. The Bills are now worth $3.4 billion per Forbes. https://www.forbes.com/teams/buffalo-bills/?sh=485d4271625d
