Complete bull$hit that he has stone hands.Darby didn't look like a number one corner last year did he? Philly fans are not laughing, they are lamenting the loss of a proven leader, team player and skilled WR in hopes of landing a CB which is an area of serious need. Gaines: 5-feet-10, weighs 185 pounds and is 25 years old. Darby : 5- feet- 11 weighs 193 pounds and is 23 years old. Gaines was all rookie his first year and was injured early in training camp his second year missing the season. How do you assess he is not starting material in a new defensive scheme and healthy?

How so? Injury plagued his whole life, why believe it will different this year? Time will tell....Fragile then, fragile now, fragile going forward. The real tragedy was spending two 1sts and a 4th for this guy when so many other more talented and less injury prone WRs were selected after him. Whaley really set us back and I am hoping Beane takes us forward!

Hardly appears as a "very bad knee" Jordan Matthews has missed the past week of OTAs due to knee tendinitis. The Eagles are calling Matthews' absence "precautionary," but it's notable because Matthews battled this same exact issue last October. It didn't cost Matthews any game action -- his missed time last year was an ankle problem -- but Matthews has battled nagging injuries for the past couple years. He'll likely be fine for minicamp in a couple weeks. Once rumored to be on the trade block, Matthews has the quarterback in his corner, as he and Carson Wentz are known to be "boys." Matthews' targets should take a decent hit in 2017 with the additions of Alshon Jeffery and Torrey Smith and further emergence of Zach Ertz. Looks more like he was expendable based on the receiver options and they had a big need at CB.

Arguably, Matthews, Bolden and Zay still looks better than last year's group especially if Holmes or Streater can contribute. Just need someone to get them the ball. Matthews has been a highly productive player since being selected 42nd overall in 2014. He ranks first in receptions (225) and third in receiving yards (2,673) among all-time Eagles in their first three years, and is one of only five players in NFL history with 65-plus receptions and 800-plus receiving yards in each of their first three seasons. The other four? Randy Moss, Odell Beckham Jr., Mike Evans and A.J. Green. No Sammy sighting on the list.

With SW's injury problems and inability to stay on the field, I am fine with this swap of WRs and draft picks. Darby for Gaines is a big downgrade though. I think you have to look at the two trades as a package deal from the Bills standpoint and with all factors considered, it is a smart deal. Matthews is like 6'3" and 215 - good hands and speed, willing to block. Gaines needs to improve, but is a starting CB.

Welcome, welcome, welcome Mr Bolden! While I think we weren't your first pick, you were ours and will learn to love us! We deserve a receiver of your caliber and you deserve to be loved by the best fan base in the NFL! I hope this isn't a one and done relationship, but maybe you have a couple of years in you yet? Have a great year!

I really like McD...read this article
Bills Fan of St Augustine replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't know why we continue to live in the past on this "bored". There is only one way to move forward and that is to embrace the future. McD seems to be off to a good start, let's give him the benefit of the doubt and see how things progress? Comparing him to RR is really unfair. He deserves a chance and so far so good. -
What is going on in KC?
Bills Fan of St Augustine replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've lived in both KC and Raleigh. Both are good eats, but KC wins hands down, easy going away the best!. Try Jack Stack in Overland Park and then we can talk. www.jackstackbbq.com OK Joe was really good for lunch too. -
Building and coaching up a team, saying all the right things, strong planning and ethics seem all pointed in the right direction. The proof for me comes game day and how well he and his coaches react during games. Game calling on both sides of the ball, placing his players in the position to make plays. This is where Bellichik really earns his paycheck. Out coach him on game day and I believe.

Broncos rescind season tickets
Bills Fan of St Augustine replied to stuvian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly. I don't like this at all. Scalping is a great thing as I can get tickets to any game I want as long as I am willing to pay the going rate. If a person had many tickets and made a business of secondary sales, then I would be in favor of revocation. But a person owning 3-4 seats and reselling them for a small profit doesn't seem like that big a deal to me. Just sell them off the sanctioned exchange process and transact through paypal. -
Gary Barnidge visited the Bills May 3rd
Bills Fan of St Augustine replied to CNY315's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not very likely. He signed in 2015 for 5 years and $38MM with $20MM guaranteed....Can't trade him based on performance and can't cut him either... -

I really like this guy. Why do we assume him to be depth behind Clay who has under performed based on his compensation? IMO.
