  1. Misdirection wouldn't have helped in my opinion. The line was eaten alive and spit out. We do not have many athletes play OL. Our OTs are big soft marshmallows. Wood is simply not big enough or strong enough to handle the larger, aggressive DTs/NTs on some teams. We can't get push and therefore try to play off the edges. Year in and year out the same teams win in part because they have good solid line play. Dallas, Packers, NE, Steelers, etc. Remember what the Skins did to us in the SB? And Dallas. In the 90s we had a fair OL too! Football is still won in the trenches. The Skins beat us with Mark Rypien and the Giants with their back up Hostetler,
  2. As I've been saying... They are bad, real bad..
  3. 2014...we draft SW with two 1sts and a 4th...Raiders took Mack and the Carr in the 2nd round.
  4. Carr went 3-13 and 7-9 while the raiders built an OL. Then he turns in a 12-3.
  5. All the best teams have competent OLs. Always have, always will..
  6. Everything starts with a decent OL.
  7. Lots of ragging on TT, but this team can't run the ball either.
  8. Sammie was a decent wide-out but he needed to be a HoFer to justify the trade to move up and draft him. He wasn't two firsts and a fourth worthy and will likely be the 3rd or 4th best w/o in the 2014 draft. He was a YAC monster in college and showed little of this when with the Bills. A very disappointing value draft pick and getting a starting CB and a second rounder (high) would be great.
  9. No just stupid to sign with another team and quit on it. If he wanted the Pats, he should have held out and signed with them when the opportunity came. He was promised a chance to compete for a starting WR spot, and then OBD made it easier for him to succeed. If he had anything going for him, he could have been a starter on this team and helped them win games. Instead, he quit.
  10. Old, fat and slow. I guess stupid too....
  11. Just can't bring myself to root for the Pats. Go Chefs!
  12. I don't think I've seen this, but who do you choose to root for or against? KC's first pick verses NE in general? I just can't root for NE regardless of the consequences!
  13. now if we only could find a pocket for his presence....
  14. I thought the analysis was definitely pro Peterman biased, but the summary at the end was spot on. "I don’t think the Bills have an exceptional talent in Peterman (although if his arm strength were to improve, I might be inclined to re-evaluate). But he’s smart, poised, and can pick apart a defense..... But outside of leading this team to the playoffs as a rookie, nothing he does this year should preclude the team using a first round pick on the position in 2018."
  15. You need to be banned. There is no room for this shtick on this website regardless of your politics and sociological beliefs. Very poor post in very poor taste.
  16. He and others need to realize the anthem protest is hollow and meaningless. Over paid athletes only hurt themselves protesting national social issues in this manner. So he's an idiot hurting only himself and really adding nothing to the national discourse. That said, if he could help us win one more game than we would without him, I'd sign him in a heartbeat.
  17. Come in and work with what you have, make improvements and begin a transition to a system to your liking. Gradual transition. Draft a savior QB next year because Pete's not the guy...No matter what, they need to improve their OL play before anything will work.
  18. Sounds a lot like Rexie's strategy for the defense a few years back doesn't it?
  19. Yeah, WTF! A coach who schemes to the strengths of the players he has! That's gotta stop now! Let's run the offense in a manner least suitable to the players capabilities! Enough is enough!
  20. Agreed - my worry is he doesn't play well and we use all those picks to trade up to a "savior" that gets killed his rookie year behind our offensively offensive line.
  21. It is obvious TT will start and NP will develop behind him. Next year, we will draft a QB @ #1 giving up a boat load of picks to move up a few slots. I don't see Peterman as a top 10 NFL QB and we deserve one.
  22. Taylor starts week one unless he is hurt. I would take him out from under center and let him play in more space...
