  1. But no one want to invest in lineman with higher draft picks. OL are EASY to find in the later rounds or through free agency....
  2. Guess our practice refs weren't calling OL being on the line this week?
  3. Sorry, Peterman isn't the answer either... Long season coming...
  4. Why not see what he can do, at least through Q4
  5. They look terrible on both sides, worse on offensive...
  6. Lots of theories but I believe it comes from the Bob Dylan song. (Dylan has a song called “Rainy Day Women #12 & 35,” in which he repeatedly sings, “Everyone must get stoned.” And 12 multiplied by 35 is 420. Genius!)
  7. Red unis suck regardless of helmet color. Red unis and this helmet and we're ready for Arena football.
  8. I don't think the problem is 7-9. The Pats continue to exceed year over year in spite of the hugely positive winning record each year. The issue has been that we are a very poor organization from talent evaluation to coaching to finances. Whaley by himself set us back nearly a decade. 2013 Draft: E.J. Manuel, Robert Woods, Kiko Alonso, Marquise Goodwin, Duke Williams, Jonathan Meeks, Dustin Hopkins, Chris Gragg - Grade: F 2014 Draft: Sammy Watkins, Cyrus Kouandjio, Preston Brown, Ross Cockrell, Cyril Richardson, Randell Johnson, Seantrel Henderson - Grade: F Doug Whaley gave up 3 picks to move up to No. 4 in 2014 to draft Sammy Watkins. 5 receivers from that draft have more TDs than he does! 2015 Draft: Ronald Darby, John Miller, Karlos Williams, Tony Steward, Nick O'Leary, Dezmin Lewis - Grade: C+ 2016 Draft: Shaq Lawson, Reggie Ragland, Adolphus Washington, Cardale Jones, Jonathan Williams, Kolby Listenbee, Kevon Seymour - Grade: C (TBD could only move lower) Rex made the hole deeper and squandered the talent he had at the time. The new guys offer a breath of fresh air that I welcome. Time will tell as to whether they are the real deal and help us become successful.
  9. Great post, hopefully this puts the tanking talk to bed. I wish...
  10. Ooohhh, now I get it! Your saying we won the off-season....again?!
  11. I prefer the red, the blue is too much blue. The 90's unis were the best ever imho...
  12. I agree except I do like the trade(s) for the reasons you mentioned. I don't believe SWs would have the career year he needed with the Bills to justify a big contract. That said, he leaves for a team willing to pay for his potential. At least we got serviceable replacements and great picks.
  13. He looked old, fat and slow. He never came to play... Too bad...
  14. I agree with you, there should be more talk about Wood. He is over rated and has always get blown up by top tier DTs when pass blocking. I thought Groy played great last year. Time to move on...
  15. Yet he finished practice. Missed two games in three years, give it a rest.
  16. stupid stupid stupid thread... No way SWs comes back to Buffalo. He's done here. I hope he does well in LA, but I am willing to bet he gets hurt again.
  17. Complete bull$hit that he has stone hands.Darby didn't look like a number one corner last year did he? Philly fans are not laughing, they are lamenting the loss of a proven leader, team player and skilled WR in hopes of landing a CB which is an area of serious need. Gaines: 5-feet-10, weighs 185 pounds and is 25 years old. Darby : 5- feet- 11 weighs 193 pounds and is 23 years old. Gaines was all rookie his first year and was injured early in training camp his second year missing the season. How do you assess he is not starting material in a new defensive scheme and healthy?
  18. How so? Injury plagued his whole life, why believe it will different this year? Time will tell....Fragile then, fragile now, fragile going forward. The real tragedy was spending two 1sts and a 4th for this guy when so many other more talented and less injury prone WRs were selected after him. Whaley really set us back and I am hoping Beane takes us forward!
  19. Matthews ends his time with the Eagles after three seasons, pulling in 225 catches for 2,673 yards and 19 touchdowns. He missed just two games over the past three seasons, and totaled more catches in his first three seasons than any other receiver in team history. Watkins? Not so much....
