I think the difference in how Lamar runs vs Josh, is that Lamar is slippery. Seems that he’s usually (not always) pretty good at avoiding the big hits. Vick did it well too. Josh loves the contact and everyone knows it. He wants to run you over. I get pumped when he stiff arms someone through the turf… but I also get pretty pumped when he runs OB or slides!

I agree with OP. Football injuries…. It’s not an if, but a when. Best way to stay upright is to avoid contact, which is not part of Josh’s DNA. My other, less popular concern is that Josh is embarrassing defenders… stiff-arming, juking, laughing, etc. Don’t get me wrong, I love it!!! But worried that soon, some knucklehead is gonna get p!ssed and intentionally go low on him. At the level Josh and the team are playing, the only way to knock off the Bills is to knock out JA17… If Bountygate was still a thing (I pray it’s not), I feel like Josh would’ve been the ultimate prize. Regardless, this dude is just such a stud. He is the most exciting player in the NFL, and I don’t think there is a close second.

The one pass to Diggs on the sideline. Perfect route, perfect pass, and Ramsey actually had him covered very well. When Diggs caught it, you could almost read Ramsey’s thoughts: “what the hell just happened? I can’t play against these guys.” He looked so deflated. I loved it.

We’ll, aside from 4 turnovers, the team played very, very well. Clean up the turnovers and they’re unstoppable. I was nervous going into it. I feel great now.

Yeah good question.. and definitely a reason why I’m not an NFL GM! To answer your question, I’m definitely concerned about 2-4, and then beyond if Tre is out longer or not back to his health/game. But my concern is more an uncertainty fear… we’re asking a ton out of some inexperienced players. Don’t know that there’s a great solution… just hope we can apply some massive pressure on D, and the offense puts up big points. Would love nothing more than to see these rookies shut it down on D though!

correct… against the Panthers (forgot who was playing QB), the Patriots (Mac), the Falcons (Matty Ice Statue), the Jets (ha!), and the Patsies again. Then we got to a good team, with a good QB and good WR’s…. And they put up 42 on us. Week 1 is Stafford, Kupp, and Robinson… Like I said, I hope my gut feel is wrong!

I’m a little less optimistic, and I hope my gut feel is wrong. We saw how well our DB’s (without Tre) did in Kansas City. We fared well against garbage QB’s and teams last season. I do believe that inflated the confidence that everyone had in our defense. This is not the case this season, and we’re playing against better QB’s and better teams. If our D Line doesn’t generate some significant pressure (let’s go Von!), or our rookie CB’s don’t light it up for us, let’s just hope JA17 and the offense put up 40+ per game!

Yep, a little bit. Don’t know Tre’s status. Rookie starter. Backup starter. Poyer/Hyde should be good to go. You hope our stronger D Line should help…. But then you also look at last season and notice that our D may have seemed better because we played against garbage QB’s for much of the season. This season we’re playing against much better QB’s that can get the ball to their WR’s. Hoping Elam develops quickly and Tre comes back soon at 100%

You are a Dolphins fan, correct? How did both Bills vs Dolphins games go last season? The Patriots won a fluke ‘wind’ game vs Buffalo… and then please tell me how the next two games shook out. Stop with this nonsense. Who cares who was ahead of who? Your team and our team played a pretty similar schedule, no? Had the Bills not had the biggest 13 second meltdown known to man, they could’ve been Super Bowl champions. But they weren’t. Regardless, your Dolphins were golfing.
