Why I Want to Beat the Phins so bad this week
Playoffs? replied to WhitewalkerInPhilly's topic in The Stadium Wall
This thread here is a big reason why I hope the Bills beat them badly: https://finheaven.com/threads/josh-allen-says-he-can-relate-to-tua-tagovailoa-is-proud-of-him.374413/ The parts about Josh being whiny and the most overrated QB in the NFL, and “Tua’s ceiling being Brady, Rodgers, Mahomes, and his floor being Russell Wilson” are the best parts. Unreal, these jackasses. -
Hot take: Secondary will be fine this week vs the fish.

Not sure how the humidity compares. That’s the killer. Unfortunately we won’t have the quality depth to keep rolling out players at a number of defensive positions. Gotta grind through it, stay as cool as they can on the sidelines, and hopefully watch Josh and O put up huge numbers! -
That is kinda funny… but pretty sure they meant in their first season as a coach.. but still.. “something special?” Remember when we crowned Trent Edwards (and whomever that coach was) the saviors of Buffalo after 4 games? Holy cow… way too early in the season for all this talk.

I think Dolphins fans will be somewhat bipolar this season. I was enjoying the Dolphins board during the Ravens game last week. Seriously, for 3 quarters, every single person was saying things like “Tua sucks… we’re dead… why can’t we have a guy like Josh Allen, etc etc.”. At the end of the game it was “Tua is amazing. We’re going to the super bowl. Tua for MVP. Bring on Buffalo!” Just feel like (until they string together some consistency) that could be the game-to-game story for Tua and the Dolphins this season. We’ll see… but I have been wrong once before!

Especially Jordan Phillips! (Love ya Jordan)

Then please accept my most sincere apologies. There seem to be a few people lately that are Phins fans posing as Bills fans. Maybe I saw a few posts of yours that I perceived as questionable and lumped you in that category. Again, my apologies for taking the low road. I understand your point that backups need to step up… but this really is a lot of backups at once. I don’t totally agree that the Bills need to win this game to maintain relevance. Trying to keep things in perspective that we’re in week 3 of 17. So much can happen. Even if the dolphins win this game, I believe we are still the better team, now, and for the rest of the season. There will be a ton of media talk, and dolphins fans would be talking a lot of crap… but I think come the second half of the season, the cream will rise to the top. That said, I’m definitely concerned about the injuries we have. It’s probably the most significant injury list I can ever remember seeing in terms of starters. Would hate to have injuries derail this team, because it truly is a special team. To me, almost seems like more pressure on Miami to win given the situation. But if Buffalo can pull it off (and this is very realistic!) what a statement win it would be. If not, we’ll get healthy and will be back to destroying teams again in no time. Bottom line, long term I think we’re money, win or lose on Sunday. Enjoy the game my friend - I’ll be in Miami cheering loudly. -

This is complete crap from a Dolphins fan. What a stupid post. -
Really hope these are McDermott mind tricks, and then out trots Poyer in Miami, 100% and a couple picks. But… I don’t think McD plays mind tricks, and it blows that Poyer is as hurt as he is.

Will be there with a fun group. Bus lot I believe.

Man the Steelers really suck. So boring.

Miles Garrett looks HUGE

Yep, completely agree. I’ve gotten comfortable that IF we lose, there are 14 more regular season games. Pretty sure the Chiefs started 1-3 (or something like that last year). We are absolutely the better team from top to bottom. I just seriously don’t think I can handle these Fins fans if they somehow pull out the W. This is their Super Bowl right now.

Looks like the line is up to Bills -5.5. Yeah I get that we have Allen and Diggs, but given the fact that literally our entire starting secondary is injured, I’m kinda surprised the line is still moving in favor of the Bills. Might be a shootout. Do it, Josh!

Micah Hyde seeking 2nd opinion on neck injury

Oh boy… Don’t make me think of Jack Eichel, please. Weird injury. Really didn’t look that bad when it happened, and just assumed it was a stinger. Get better Micah - we need you! -
My man! All good and cheers! Go Bills!
-
Woahhhh brother. Did not mean it at all in the way you perceived it. I meant it more out of frustration in that there is another injured stud on the list! The ‘now’ was not geared at Poyer. Freakin love Poyer. Hate seeing him on the list, and hope he’s good to go come Sunday. Settle yourself down. Jesus man.
-
Wtf is wrong with Poyer now???
-
First thing that came into my mind as well… maybe we’re both overthinking it?
-
Ha - no way he’s 5’8”
-
Gotcha and fair enough. Agree our offense hangs with any in the league. Our D will have a challenge, but I’m sure McD will get ‘em ready for it. To Von and company: This is where you all come into play!
-
Woah… all this because I said that potentially missing Hyde is a bit of a concern considering two rookie Cb’s against Hill and Waddle? I was only talking about our defense, and Hyde makes our secondary better. You understand a fan can say very, very positive things, but also express a potential concern. Unless you were referring to someone else, and then I apologize.

It’s stunning how moronic people are. The above would also suggest that Flacco is better than Aaron Rodgers. TWO freakin games in.
