My big concerns with saying goodbye to Poyer is the chemistry that he and Hyde seem to have. They seem to elevate each other. If Poyer goes, does Hyde’s game fall off?

Yep. Also with the WR market blowing up, teams will be reaching early to get starting WRs that will be on the roster with rookie contracts.

Wait, maybe I’m completely out of the loop… but if a player signs a contract and ends up getting released, don’t they still get paid for the duration of their contact? On second thought, in a rare moment of clarity, suppose it’s just the ‘guaranteed’ part that gets paid.

The players have all the leverage. They sign the contract.. and when they want more, they hold out, or complain until a new deal gets done.. or they get traded and paid. It’s too bad the GMs can’t do the reverse for high paid players that suck!

Would like to see us pick up a CB in free agency. If not, we’re 100% drafting one early, and every other team will know it. Teams that need CB’s will be doing everything in their power to jump up ahead of us. I’d love to put some guesswork back in when it comes to our draft strategy.

Was wondering why Chandler Jones would ever go from AZ to Buffalo! Didn’t realize he was from Rochester. Maybe wanting finish out his career with his hometown team!
