  1. One would hope it would already be pretty apparent to NFL coaches If they really want to win, it would seem to be a no brainer but coaches and their egos never cease to amaze🤔Heard an anecdote from OL Frank Garcia who has a radio show in Charlotte. He played for the Panthers the year that Seifert was there. They played a game where T. Biakabatuka was on fire in the first half and Seifert went away from him in the second and they lost. Garcia was one of the Captains and went in with a couple other guys to lobby for more running because it was that O lines strength. Seifert reply was something like, ' If i had my effing way we would throw the effing ball on every down.' That was a brutal year for the Panthers.
  2. Seven of sixteen AFC teams are 3-2. No 4-1 and one 5-0. Today's NFL which gives the illusion of having a chance.
  3. If I use the reply function on my iPhone, half the time it doesn't attach to the original quote and ends up two or three spaces down so I use the edit function instead....... or maybe you blocked me at the end of the Moron or Rex eras when I was being weenyish? Like this, four below the original quote
  4. I hope you can admit that Peterman looks better than Tuel.I get the whole, he's not ready thing but you don't know until you try. The kid has a moxie about him that is surprising for a rookie. Couple that with the recognition by many " Experts" as being the most Pro Ready QB in the past draft.
  5. His lack of recovery wasn't very apparent this pre season unless that is what caused him to get the ball out ASAP. Admittedly, whether or not he can stretch the field remains to be seen. He can hit the short stuff with precision though and on a WCO that is important. Consider your joke stolen😂 A burger walks into a bar and says , " Bartender, give me a beer." The bartender replies, " Sorry, we don't serve food here."
  6. There were a couple he missed , I called it during the game( Atlanta) that he just has to hit. Maybe that is what I'm confusing on the Clay passes. There was no safety within ten yards, CB was on the outside and he dropped the ball on the outside when the inside was wide open and there for the taking. The kind of pass we see Brady shred us on repeatedly.
  7. You got me..... but in my defense, I may have been self medicating with a frothy beverage.... or three🤓
  8. Clay was wide open on one of them or maybe I have selective amnesia. And frankly, the pass I'm thinking of wasn't all that because he was so wide open and the ball caused him to have to slow up
  9. I don't watch college ball and am not sure what " ruined" means but I wish we could ruin TT a little more.Ruin him into getting the ball out, hitting receivers in stride consistently, throwing receivers open and actually taking chances from time to time.
  10. " Watching can teach you a lesson. Doing can teach you many lessons." " It's only a mistake if you don't learn from it, otherwise it is a lesson." Peterman doesn't look like the type to be ruined. He gets the ball out QUICK. It is exasperating to watch TT do the same stupid crap, over and over. How much film does he have to study about his own offense to understand the timing and concepts of Dennisons routs?
  11. It's not Sucking if a rookie is learning.....It is sucking if TT is just continuing to suck. Watching Peterman progress while we are getting a better draft pick is preferable to watching TT
  12. Who are these many you speak of?
  13. http://www.espn.com/blog/nfcsouth/post/_/id/69304/time-to-consider-the-panthers-as-the-best-team-in-the-nfc http://www.freep.com/story/sports/nfl/lions/2017/10/08/detroit-lions-carolina-panthers/742455001/ Cam put them in a great position and the Defense almost lost it for them.🤔
  14. How long before the Defensive squad starts to grumble after putting together a performance like that and losing?
  15. Shula is transitioning away from the longer passing game that causes Cam to hold the ball. He is starting to hit the dump off which decreases his yards per average but increases his completion percentage. So, yes, it is a good representation of Cam as a QB. This is what QB growth and evolution looks like.
  16. Rivera reverted to Rivera Ball. Kinda like McD last week.As a " Professional Tyrod Hater" I spot a " Professional Cam Hater" from a mile away. Repeat after me, " The Bills would be a playoff team with Cam on our squad!".
  17. Testify Brother. I couldn't help myself but your point is spot on.
  18. My sentiments exactly. His long ball, which is supposed to be his strength, doesn't nose over but often falls down. Sometimes this is an appropriate throw but not when you are trying to hit a guy down field in a particular spot.. Culpepper looked good because of Moss. Delhome because of Smith and Watkins made TT's long ball look like a strength. He throws it to a general area and expects the receiver to bail him out. Again, that is SOMETIMES an appropriate throw. But not always.
  19. Being tied with the Nyets should be the kind of smoke that makes people think " Fire". But not here on TBD. Here it comes: "The Pats are there also but they are Super Bowl winners. Do you think they are giving up?" This is not a playoff team as currently constructed ( I'm entering my own personal Ground Hog's Day Hell) but it is an 8-8ish team which is MUCH worse than a 4-12 or 5-11 team that starts Peterman and moves on from what we will eventually call the Tyrod experiment years. I might have to start a LAMP thread!!!!!
  20. Just in the knick of time. The first of the annual " We're a playoff team and here's why." Genre of threads. ug....ugg...,.Uggg.......ARRGGG......😵😵😵
  21. 26 of 33 for 355, three TDs. Dude sucks!!!!!
