  1. None needed. Bills fans mix various different flavors on their own and SWEAR this will be the year😵
  2. Houston plays in possibly the worst division and are managing 9 win seasons. They spent a bunch of $$ on Osweiler because they needed a QB. Credit to them for trying. He sucked and will next week but who Oakland puts in at QB might be Houston's saving grace but then the jig will be up.Until they figure out their QB they don't go far..... which is my point.
  3. I would be content to give a young QB the time while building . We had a good defense and screwed the pooch on that one. Our defense is now in transition between schemes. The Ravens are a good team, good coach, better QB than TT. How far does Houston get this year?
  4. L L L L L L L W L = Recent KC playoff history Ravens are a quality run org, Flacco is better passer than TT, Harbaugh is a good coach Houston doesn't have.... Wait for it..... A Franchise QB Again , if that is enough for you , cool. I don't want to be Houston or KC with a1 and 8 playoff record.
  5. TT.....Kinda thought I was rather obvious about my feelings🤔
  6. What is more important, having a team that is a legitimate contender year in and year out or sneaking into the playoffs and losing in the first round. It seems that a large contingent of posters feel that the " Playoff Drought" is some kind of holy grail that must be brought to an end. Following this logic they are clinging to TT because he's better than the two guys who played today as if half the team already having their lockers cleaned out and unwilling to give any effort was the QBs fault. ( Not to make excuses for either QB) Then there are those who see TT for the 8-8 QB that he will always be and believe that he represents the path of continued mediocrity. Can we all agree that the only teams that have the chance of deep playoff runs on a continued basis are those with Franchise QBs ( Brady, Rogers, Rothlisberger... etc) ? We can argue about who is on this list but it is a relatively short one. Can we also agree that TT will never be on this list? I know many hate to hear/ think this but chances are pretty high that we don't make the playoffs again next year. A new coaching staff , even Lynn and Thurman are going to change things. This team wasn't that close this year with a lucky streak early playing some really crappy QBs/ Teams that had many excited about a " Fast start". I know a win is a win but in hind site it looks like the fools gold that it was. I want a team I can watch for a DECADE that has a legit chance to contend for the playoffs annually and a SB at least once if not a few times. I don't care about a one off playoff appearance . I care about building a team to be proud of. I realize this entails many changes but the first has to be a realization that TT is not the guy and we need to take our medicine and save the cap room and continued middle path even if it means a suckfest next year.
  7. This!!!!! Not sure it will happen but would like to see a full second half..... for the loss
  8. Yep, that one😂😂😂😂 Watch the game today. We'll get to see a reprisal of these apparently AWESOME QB skills with EJ
  9. I have an answer, Because we have hope. I'll admit it's " Dumbass, I'm a Bills fan hope." But it is what keeps this board going. I have HATED!!!!!!!! what I became this last year and a half because Rex was our coach. I was one of the posters on here who could see this coming from a mile away. It came and now on the first day of a new year we can hope. I watched the first game and was immediately happy I hadn't gotten the Sunday Ticket. I went to a Bills Bar ( Bizonte) in Matthews NC for the first Miami game...uggg. This is only the third game I will see this season and I'm pretty psyched to have my team back from the evil, bumbling clutches of the Ryan brothers. New coach, new outlook next year. I can accept a suck fest of a team if they are growing and moving on the right direction. I realize some on here think we are close but I would rather get a high pick in 2018 than get in like Miami or Houston knowing their is an ass woopin' in the immediate playoff future from NE or the Stillers
  10. If monkeys should start flying out of my butt should I see a proctologist?
  11. I don't watch college ball ever. I just finished watching the first half of Clemson Ohio and Watson looks like a warmed over turd as a passer. He has no touch. Continues to over throw TDs he would have to make in NFL. There is NO way the Bills should take this guy!!!!!
  12. And Lynn could/ would need someone with a ton of HC experience to confide in while not looking over his shoulder. I would be happy with this situation if it came to pass.
  13. Neither TT or EJ is a starter in a league that doesn't have enough starting QBs. TT is not going to stay as a backup, EJ might and we can afford him. He's not a good backup some will say. There are FEW good backups in this league and even fewer teams capable of winning with a backup. We know who he is which is why we need to start C. J.
  14. My dad used to bug me in the late 70 s to go to a game when I was around 8 yrs old. The year the Steelers won the SB and some of my friends were all jazzed about it and I recognized the excitement they held but didn't understand how the game of Football got them there. My Dad was a nasty drunk, not physically but I was afraid of him but still looked up to him. I also realized as a kid , going to the game was important to him so I agreed to go to a game. We took a bus from the Transit Hill drug store run by Paul Scavone and got to the stadium. We sat in the old NN section, upper deck, second row from the edge. The game? MIAMI!!! First win over them in a decade. Are you freaking kidding me. I was nine or ten at the time and instantly hooked. Between the atmosphere in the stadium that day and my mean, impatient old man taking the time to patiently explain the game to me , Inever looked back. We went to every home game for the next two years. I missed the Pittsburgh game where we held Bradshaw to 9(!?) yards passing cause I was sick. I also remember watching the San Diego game with Fergy on a bad leg. My first taste of Bills disappointment 🤔 I skipped the Kay Stevenson/ Hank Bullough years though I do remember beating Dallas in one of those 2 win seasons. I was 16 when Kelly came to town and was absolutely spoiled over the next decade of Bills fandom. Had season tickets in 88 and 91. Was on the field with my best man, Tim , for the tearing down of the GP after the Smerlas FG block Jets game. This last year I finally reached my breaking point, no Sunday ticket( I live in Charlotte NC) . I've seen so many iterations of this team dysfunctionally sucking that I just couldn't anymore. Am unwarrentedly optimistic that Whaley and Pegulas will get it right this time and will get the Sunday Ticket next year because, What choice do I have? I'm a lifer as a Bills fan. A nasty, soul draining addiction 👍🏻
  15. I would be shocked if Jones didn't see some time.
  16. Like Bledsoe got from us..... except he had excellent football ahead of him( if only a year).... TT has nothing in front of him.
