Two things come to mind immediately. I remember the way he would put his hand on the back of a lineman and just let the play develop, just taking his time and the next thing you knew he was 8 to 10 yards down field. He was SO consistently patient and understood how to let his blockers set up in a way I haven’t seen in a long time. I remember a post game presser fairly early in his rookie season with Marv talking about how he had told the coaches and Kelly not to think of him as a rookie but give him a full load because Thurman could handle it. MAGIC TIMES!!!!!

I couldn’t disagree more. The Legend of Peterman has a year under his belt now and is ready to seize the starting job for good!!!!! Too bad we wasted all that draft capital on Allen?

Okinawa Karate or Good Kung fu. Agree that Tae Kwon Do is worthless for hands as all they do is kick. A Korean derivative of Shotokan which was a Japanese derivative of Okinawa Karate. Aikido is to soft for the NFL.

Everyone, I did not mean to share the image of Homer Simpson drooling link in the Jim Kelly at Rookie camp thread!!!!! I have know earthly idea how that is the link that was shared. I tried to share the picture I saw on Facebook of Jim and Josh together that was posted on the Buffalo Bills Page. I couldn’t upload it because it said the file was bigger tha 200 Kbs. So I tried to imbed the link and thought I had. I haven’t been on here since and I got some truly hateful PMs which would be deserved if I had intentionally done that. I will delete the comment and again I have KNOW IDEA how the Eff that is what popped up!!!!!!!! SORRY!!!!!!! I cried when I saw the original picture and have nothing but Love for Jim and his family!

My buddy Tim and I got season tickets in ‘88. Watching Thurman’s rookie season as an 18 year old with your buddy..... Those were awesome days!!!!!!!
