Josh Allen is feeling “no pressure,” yet

I love that quote......"Slicker than snot on a doorknob". first heard it about 5 years ago and have been using it ever since. -
Who Will Win the AFC East?
BigPappy replied to Billsfanatic8989's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This. What they need to do is some significant drug testing on him and look at all the "supplements" he is taking. No one plays at the level he is still playing at at his age without "juicing" in some form or fashion. -
Make 3 predictions for the 2018 Bills.
BigPappy replied to GreggTX's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
1.) McCarron is the day one starter and starts 13 of 16 games. 2.) Edmunds comes in second for DROY because no one is going to let a Bill come in first. 3.) Peterman starts one of the 3 games that McCarron does not start. (My long shot prediction) -

10 reasons why Tom Brady Sucks!!
BigPappy replied to Bills4life1924's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I guess you could call it a conspiracy, but if you read https://www.amazon.com/Spygate-Untold-Story-Bryan-OLeary/dp/0985467002 he talks about the second receiver in Brady's helmet so he can get the defensive scheme being played on that down so he knows who to throw to. When Brady went down for the season and Castle took over for him, he used Brady's helmet and it explains why Castle did so well in NE and sucked everywhere else he went. I have never read the book, just an article that was about the book. One of these days I will grab it....maybe. -
10 reasons why Tom Brady Sucks!!

They didn't play the single most important reason why he sucks. and in truth it's the only reason that matters......he cheats! -
I have to go with Alphadawg7 on this. It's like he picked it right out of my brain and put it to paper.

Bills bringing in another QB, this time from CFL
BigPappy replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Definitely sounds like a camp arm then. Thanks for the info. -
I don't think i have ever heard it said better that how Stephen A puts it. Should he be accountable for what he says or Tweets......sure, but accountable as a 15 year old kid is held accountable not a 21 or 22 year old adult is. Like Stephen A said, we all said stupid ****-nit when we were kids. If you can look at the person as a whole and see that it's not a reflection of who he is now, let it go. JA clearly learned from the mistake, applied what he learned and moved forward in his life. It's time everyone else moved on from this supposed story because there is clearly nothing to see.

Bills bringing in another QB, this time from CFL
BigPappy replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Love the one liner 716! Priceless! I know the clip is a highlight reel, but he doesn't look too bad. I'm no NFL scout so what do i know, but he seems to have good instincts with the ball and can throw on the run. Hopefully our other QB's can also because with our OL they may need to do that a lot. Buffalo716 and BullBuchanan, you both seem to have the skinny on this guy. What is it about him that makes you say he's no more than a camp arm. I don't doubt you....merely curious of your thoughts. -
Bills bringing in another QB, this time from CFL
BigPappy replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know your post has a hint of sarcasm in it but, I am guessing he would be fighting for a roster spot with Peterman, not Allen. Or he may just be a camp arm. -
I typically do not EVER put stock into any of the evaluation posts that people put here simply because they have not played the game, coached the game or scouted player before. I view them for entertainment and to discuss opinions. To that end, since I am not in the employment of the NFL or the Buffalo Bills, I just trust that the FO is doing the best they can. I am a fan. I don't assume to know more than those that are paid to do what they do. I will not call out names, but there are many here that believe they do. That said, I am glad you posted this about Buffalo716. At the very least it's someones thought on the draft who's been there and done the work before. Thanks Hapless. Much appreciated.

Vegas Over/Under 2018 Win Totals - Bills at 6.5
BigPappy replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
at 6.5, I would take the over. I see 7-9 or 8 and 8, at least at this stage of the process. -
I rated them a 5 and I am thinking that might even be pushing it right now. HUGE question mark with the offense in general but especially OL and WR's. The defensive line is average, LB is a ?. Right now the only positives we have are RB and our defensive backfield. McD seems to have the knack of coaching players up so hopefully he can do that again this year. I hope who ever is the starting QB is as mobile as TT was.

EXACTLY why I think Beane blew the '18 draft. -Rd. 1
BigPappy replied to #34fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Your stating your opinion so flaming away is hardly necessary. You have an interesting take but I disagree with the overall thought on who to draft instead. The way things were going we could have and should have stayed at 12. I know Rosen was taken at 10 by Arizona but I don't think that would have happened if we didn't take Allen at 7. I am not an Allen fan, yes he has the tools, but like you said he has a poor record of winning and he din't play Div 1. I would have stood pat at 12 and Taken Rosen because had Allen been there at 10 I think Arizona would have taken him there instead of Rosen. Personally, I think Rosen will be the better player. Yes, he has a HUGE chip on his shoulder, he's very full of himself and by most accounts a bit of an a$$, but SO WHAT!! Jim Kelly was an arrogant a$$ who first refused to play here. Then when he did, in the beggining he was a full of himself partier with a HUGE chip on his shoulder and Rosen reminds me of him. does he or will he have his talent....maybe....maybe not. But he definitely was my first choice. As for the rest of the draft, I think as much as we need LB's i think OL was more important and should have grabbed one with that 2nd first rounder and without having trading up we would have had both 2nd rounders and the second 3rd rounder to brag more OL and LB talent and maybe another receiver. -
I see this being the most accurate assessments. You definitely do not want to rush him into play. Now if he completely blows away McCarron and Peterman then maybe he starts, but i hope not. I would like to see him mature a bit and get used to the Pro game before he starts. FWIW. I was hoping for Rosen, but that said, I will trust the FO decision and believe they picked the right guy. Only time will tell. Here's to hoping....

Bills GM: Not certain we move up to take QB
BigPappy replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If they can't move up more to take their tops choice, They will pick best on the board at 12 and take Jackson at 22. I don't see them taking Jackson at 12 when they know he will be there at 22. I'm not certain he will be there in round two though when we pick again. -
Where should Cousins go to best benefit the Bills?
BigPappy replied to Peace Frog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agreed, but I would prefer to keep him somewhere in the NFC or at the very least outside the AFC East. While he is not "Elite" he is still a very good QB and would prefer to not have to play him all that often.
