  1. Considering how much talk there is about almost every team that needs a QB is high on obtaining him, I am guessing it will be a 5 year 100 to 120 million dollar contract for any team to get him.
  2. Yup.....this! 100% this. No one is going to take him in a trade...especially when they know there is a 99.99% chance we are going to cut him. Not to mention he has no trade value.
  3. I think your statement here is the key when it came to some of the game decisions. Especially when it came to Dennison. I agree with your draft assessment as well. If we can pick up a top FA qb, we can still grab a moderately high pick QB to watch and learn for a few years, resign Benjamin, add a WR in the draft (maybe 2nd 1st rounder), a good pass rusher and a top notch linebacker we can definitely still compete next year.
  4. No, Beane and McD will stay the course and keep to their plan. They want to build an overall team, not just draft a superstar QB. They can fill a lot of holes with all of the picks they have. Plus, in the last few drafts there have been at least one QB that has fallen out of the top 10 that expected to be drafted in one of those slots and it would make more sense for us to trade up from our mid 20's slot (or where ever we end up) up into the teens than into the top 10 or top 5. That gets to expensive with picks.
  5. Doesn't matter if he is the QB of this team that made the playoffs after 17 years. We got there in spite of him, and from a gift from the heavens names Andy Dalton; not because of TT.
  6. And that's awesome! I just think it's presumptuous for the OP to assume we are definitely playing the Jags in a playoff game. Call me superstitious if you like, but to me that just brings bad mo-jo.
  7. Really wish people would stop putting the cart before the horse. Lets win Sunday first and then see what happens with the games we need help from before we all go off the deep end deciding what your doing or where we're going to watch a playoff game that may not happen. I'm all for optimism but lets cool our jets a bit please.
  8. Have to agree with this. To add upon it as well.....He has nothing left to prove to himself or to others about how good he is or was. He was an under rated QB, mainly because he took so many hits from bad offensive lines in front of him. He is an awesome commentator\analyst of the game, and his intelligence for the game really shines through. I can definitely see him on the sideline as a coach at some point as well. The risk i think is to great to get an injury that he could not come back from and live a normal life. Even if he wanted to play, I would hope for him not to just for that reason. There is only one QB that I would like to see go down in a blaze of glory and pain.....and we all know who that is.
  9. Where do you work....because my employer does not allow drinking on the job.
  10. I think Peterman can be the guy with it bit more grooming. That said, if the game is close, there is no way McD is pulling TT at half time.
  11. Actually, we have A qb and A qb can win games. What we need is THE qb, because THE qb wins championships.
  12. Very sad. RIP Dick. He was truly one of the best at calling sporting events, especially Football games. Many fond memories of him calling Bills games.
  13. Last time i checked the game has't been played yet. While you may be correct in your assumption that we will lose Sunday, I'm not sure who died and anointed you the prognosticator of prognosticators but I prefer to have them play the game before its decided who will win. I seem to remember a game the Bills played against NE that everyone said they would get decimated and ended up winning 30 - 0, so do the Bills a favor and LET THEM PLAY THE GAME to decide who will win.
  14. I completely agree with you. Just because people can't stop using a "non word" they added it to the dictionary which is as ridiculous as using the word itself. Another word that was added was made up on a TV show called Veronica's Closet back in the 90's. One of the characters on the show in a press conference made up the word "incribits". You can now find it in the urban dictionary. Thankfully not recognized as a legit word, but I'm sure at some point it will be. I actually have heard people use this word in business meetings.
  15. The NFL will never approve the sale of the Panther's to Snoop or group that includes Snoop simply because, right or wrong he is a well known pot head and they won't want that associated with the NFL image.
  16. Unfortunately you are wrong. Sadly the word was added to the "urban" dictionary some time ago (found here....https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Irregardless) And eventually added to the Webster dictionary as well....found here, https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/irregardless.
  17. I live in Chili but work in Henrietta so i am flexible to where everyone would want to meet. Though I would probably prefer someplace in the middle between the east and west side depending on where everyone is.
  18. There is that fact as well.
  19. While i understand your point and part of me agrees with you; he's an adult and he is making the conscience decision to play. From a business perspective though, most NFL teams will steer clear of signing him just because of the potential of bad press if he were to be seriously injured again or God forbid killed on the field. They only way I think a team would be willing to risk it is if they can get the doctors to sign of that his risk of a repeat injury are 100% guaranteed to be no more than any other player that has never had his injury before and I don't think any doctor would be willing to go on record saying that.
  20. He may be a game changer because of his size, but as Bubba Gump said, he is a drooling gorilla. I Can't stand him almost as much as I have the cheating POS Brady. He's a first class a-hole just like of that Pats team.
  21. Agree with this. Besides, there is no way they are going to pull back on instant replay now. Most fans and some players will go into an angry frenzy, especially after a bad call where a receiver lands in or out of bounds and costs a team a game or chance at the playoffs. I like the idea of adding the camera to the football but the helmet cam....not happening. One good jolt with the ground and camera busted. You will never see a "true" zero tolerance policy in the NFL. If that were to happen teams would lose more than half their star players if not half their team to policy violations. The game is fine the way it is with the exception of the woosification that it's taking place.
  22. Agreed, stupid logic. Especially since Buffalo has routinely had issues filling the stadium for December home games except in the 90's era. Many do not want to Freeze and deal with the snow. And now that all games are televised they are definitely staying home in the cold months.
