  1. I should have clarified...I meant Theon's Reek persona.
  2. No. She had left for King's Landing by the time that Reek/Ramsay was captured and imprisoned at Winterfell. As for the Theon version, no, she never met him in the books.
  3. He should get a suspension of several games, at the very least, plus a large fine. In reality, he likely won't be suspended at all, and the league will let him off with a 'large' fine that really doesn't amount to much.
  4. Yep. While I feel that he should be suspended for at least a third of the season, the most likely outcome is no suspension and a relatively large fine that the league can play up as some serious punishment, but won't really hurt Brady or the Pats much at all.
  5. Luckily for them, the league will never do much of anything to force them past that stage. Brady and the Pats will get off with a relatively light punishment.
  6. More likely, he'll be suspended for the first drive of a preseason game, after which Goodell will publicly beg his forgiveness.
  7. If it refers to dragonriders at all. It seems logical, but I wonder if its not actually a reference to three competing branches of of House Targaryen. Regardless, I would throw out that Bran's storyline puts him in direct contact with Bloodraven, aka Brynden Rivers, who's father is a Targaryen.
  8. Hopefully, I can get this damned spoiler tag to work...
  9. I wonder if they're even going to do that. They've had another chance to show that before in a similar situation and skipped over it. Could be that its something they think a TV audience won't buy into.
  10. Looks like we're going to get the big reveal/spoiler about Jon this season. Whether the non-readers picked up on it is another matter, but I don't see how you couldn't. They slapped you in the face with it repeatedly. And although his plan was predictable, we now know what LF has in mind by shipping Sansa off to Ramsay Bolton.
  11. No kidding. I was about to comment on how awful this format is.
  12. I think it was when Nix became GM. While it didn't translate to wins during his tenure, the uptick in the talent level began at that time. Plus, I think he brought some credibility and respectability back to the front office and the team that has since allowed them to attract major free agents. I can understand why some don't see it that way, but to me, that point of demarcation between 'laughingstock' and return to credibility clearly happened in his tenure.
  13. I don't mind it. They're going to need a good CB prospect soon enough. Both Graham and McKelvin turn 30 this year.
  14. I suspect that she won't, and that when all this plays out, it could indeed be the 'end game' for LF, just not quite how he expects.
  15. They're the same torture entourage that Ramsay used against Theon a couple seasons ago.
  16. Pretty sure he's actually screwing the Boltons over here. He knows they have a tenuous hold on the north and that the northern lords are not happy about the Boltons' betrayal of the Starks, and what better way to stir that pot than to put the only known Stark heir in the hands of Bolton's demented son? The end game for LF? He's hoping the nothern lords will rally to Sansa, and that Sansa, as ruler of the north, would be a loyal ally to him and someone he can manipulate for his future plans.
  17. Myself, I keep hoping that both of them will get eaten by one of the dragons.
  18. Because the board obviously needed yet another thread about this guy... The only reason he keeps getting mention anywhere is because of his life choices. He's not much of an NFL prospect. If he was, he'd be on a roster somewhere. Combined with the media circus sideshow that he has actively embraced, its not hard to figure out why no NFL teams are interested.
  19. Agreed. I was trying to be nice about it.
  20. On the contrary, there were repeating rifles in existence at least 100 years before the Revolutionary war. The Kalthoff and Lorenzoni designs were basically primitive lever actions that allowed their user to fire a shot every second or two. Both of these were invented in the 1600s, and while not widespread due to cost, enough were built that there are surviving examples today. Can't say for sure, but I would expect that the founders were aware of them. As for 800 rounds per minute from a semi-automatic, I have my doubts.
  21. That could be, but that's also far beyond encompassing just AR-15s and such. You're also talking about tens of millions of hunting rifles and shotguns, and of course, handguns.
  22. Funny how they don't mention that the same slow moving shotgun slug carries about twice as much energy at the muzzle as a .223 round...
  23. While I'm going to stop short of giving a recommendation, I will say that I've generally been satisfied with the entry level Smith and Wesson I bought a couple of years ago. Granted, a typical range trip for me is usually only 20-40 rounds, but I haven't had a bit of issue with mine and haven't missed the forward assist or dust cover which they deleted on the 'sport' model. For my usage, I don't have a need for anything 'better', and have been strongly considering a second as a spare. That being said, while I have no experience with them, the most common recommendation I've seen online is that, when in doubt, its hard to go wrong with the Colt 6920 that Walmart sells. I'd probably start my research there.
  24. Since they're repeat offenders, I think the penalty has to be suitably severe. Suspend Belichick for the 2015 season. Ignorance is no excuse. If a player can be directly linked, they get a four game suspension. The team itself would get a one million dollar fine and the forfeiture of all 2015 draft picks and either a first or second in 2016. They didn't learn their lesson last time, so they apparently need some extra encouragement to learn from this incident.
