Turn Down The Temperature: Unity? NOT HAPPENING
Brandon replied to BillsFanNC's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Honestly, the first response was a question, not a statement. I thought I had remembered someone saying that, but I've heard so much that's true and so much that's BS that it's hard to keep it all straight. I do think it was very likely politically motivated, but our information is limited right now and it's all just speculation. The truth will become apparent soon enough, whatever that truth may be. -
Turn Down The Temperature: Unity? NOT HAPPENING

Apparently, it was the Governor of Utah who had made statements along those lines, that a family member indicated that he'd become more political and that he had some issue with Kirk at a recent family dinner. https://www.cnn.com/2025/09/12/us/tyler-robinson-charlie-kirk-shooting-suspect-invs -
Turn Down The Temperature: Unity? NOT HAPPENING

Didnt his family tell investigators that he had become radicalized and hated Charlie Kirk? That seems to very strongly suggest a political motive to me. -
Who would you rather start vs the Jets? Tre’Davious or Strong

Leave the rookie in there unless he proves he shouldn't be. -
Random talking head says something about the Bills

Who the hell is Draymond Green and why is this person's opinion worth anything? -
I'm willing to keep an open mind and not totally dismiss the possibility that my preconceived assumptions are incorrect, but I tend to agree. At least in my experience, I've seen that term used far, far more often by those on the left to describe conservatives. I'm not saying it hasn't happened, but I don't recall ever seeing it used in another context with reference to modern politics.

That seems the most likely to me, but I also think we're at that stage where people will see what they want to see. The truth will be known soon enough as they go through his phone, computer and social media activity, as well as if there are any statements publicly by those who actually know him. The asswipe in question is in custody, though, and I would assume he'll start talking sooner or later, anyway.

It was a great drive to get the FG in the first half, but they may still have won without it. If the rest of the game had played out the same, they would have had four shots at the end zone from inside the 10 on the final drive.

He was on the field quite a bit in three TE sets. But to answer the question, it may be that they think he can be more than just a blocking TE. Sometimes, when you draft a rookie, they're better or have more potential in certain aspects that you didn't necessarily expect. At the time he was drafted, if you'd have told people that, at the start of his 8th NFL season, Josh Allen would be the Bills all time rushing TD leader, most of them would have laughed at you.

That was my impression as well. They thought they had it won and started playing conservative...playing not to lose. And that's why they lost.

Let Bishop play through it for awhile and see if he improves. The Ravens are probably their worst matchup and I don't think it's indicative of what to expect in an average week.
-
Was that the one where they sent Cole Bishop on a blitz from deep in the defensive backfield? If so, Bishop caused the separation. He ran between the CB in coverage and the WR after the snap, which created the separation.
-
I disagree. If he had scored, it would have given the Ravens one more chance against our defense. The fact that he got tackled inside the 10 was the best possible outcome on the play.

Great 4th quarter, but overall, it didn't really alleviate my concerns in terms of ability to consistently separate. I thought he was ineffective to that point, especially downfield. Once they thought they had the game in the bag, they stopped playing tight coverage at the snap and it gave him room to operate. To his credit, he took advantage of it. And to be fair, I do think he's better on shorter routes where he's running parallel to the LOS.

As much as I'd really like to blame Lamar Jackson, I can't. He didn't start it.
