    They've been trying to force this 12 personnel BS for two years and haven't been able to make it work. In the process, they've managed to turn an offense that was a thoroughbred into a plowhorse. That's not a Knox issue. That's on the coaching staff and front office.

    He had a rough day and he definitely has to get better, but I can overlook it today for a rookie making his first start.

    In fairness to Coleman, it might help if they stopped forcing him on vertical routes when his main weakness is downfield speed. He's a possession receiver. Use him like one. The one instance where they did, he made a big play.

    Yeah, I think he's OK with regard to a concussion. Or, at least, he looked perfectly normal walking quickly back to the tent on the sideline.

    It does, but with an elite QB, they should have been drafting a guy no later than R3 every other year.

    They've neglected that spot over the last couple of offseasons as the talent has dwindled and now we're seeing the results. It isn't good.

    I think so as well. The receivers aren't helping him, but he's clearly off today. Not throwing well at all.

    It's the former, but Allen is getting frustrated, too, and isn't playing well.

    Allen isn't having a good game by any stretch, but I agree, most of the problems stem from lack of talent at WR.

    But did you see his gauntlet time at the combine???

    They haven't been good at screen passes since Jim Kelly was throwing them to Thurman Thomas.

    Unfortunately, that probably says something about the rest of these WRs.

    The running game is being adversely affected by the lack of talent at WR. No one is afraid of those guys, so they can attack the LOS without much worry.

    It hit Coleman in the hands and should have been caught.

    I suppose it's possible, but I think it's much more likely that he's protecting the hand injury. Statistically, he's on pace for a similar year to 2019 or 2020 and has an average per carry that would rank as his 4th best season of 7.

    That's the most unbelievably stupid playcall I've seen in a long time AND it got Allen hurt in the process.

    In fairness, the playcall worked. The second one should have been caught.

    I disagree, but even if that's all he is, it opens up everything underneath.

    Running the ball too much on 1st down. Too predictable.
