    I thought McConkey was the best one available and I think he'll have an excellent career. I also liked Pearsall and Worthy as well, but I can understand the injury concerns with Worthy.

    I think you almost have to keep MVS in order to have something resembling a deep threat outside. That being said, I'd also find a way to keep Davidson if at all possible. But this team despises in-house developmental receiving prospects at the bottom of the roster, so I doubt they will.

    I haven't. I bought it last year, but only needed it for five or six games that weren't broadcast locally. I might buy the discounted rate at the halfway point or something, but I can't justify full price again for how little I actually needed it last season. So much for that idea. I didn't realize it auto-renews, so I guess I bought it again after all. Oh well.

    Ultimately, it mostly depends on how well Allen plays, but my initial impression going into the season is that the two weakest position groups are the safeties and wide receivers. That's not a good combination and we may be in for a season where the defense can't stop big downfield plays in the passing game and the offense can't generate them.

    That's great news. He was the one I was least worried about and I don't think he adds any value to the ticket. Shapiro would have been a real problem for Trump in terms of appeal to moderates (let alone delivering Pennsylvania for Harris), and although I despise Mark Kelly, I think he also had more broad public appeal for the same reason.

    I think Davidson has a good chance of winning the job. He definitely has the talent advantage, it's just a matter of translating that to practices and the preseason games and so far, it sounds as though he's off to a good start.

    By picking Vance, Trump is probably hoping he can help in Pennsylvania and Michigan.

    I'm not overly excited about it, but I do think he was clearly the best choice of the names being commonly mentioned.

    A few weeks ago, before Biden' debate disaster, I think that might have been a lot more likely. I still think there's an outside chance it might happen, but at this stage, I doubt the campaign wants to take that kind of chance with a big lead in the polls now.

    I'm not sure how I'd feel about it, but I wouldn't be totally stunned if it's Tulsi Gabbard.
