  1. Because they are different positions and have different expectations, and the scoring is different. It's no tricky to understand.
  2. I'm not anti-Edmunds, but do we really want to wait a total of 6 years for Edmunds to prove how good he can be? An overachiever? compared to what? He's an excellent linebacker and we are a better team with him than without. What makes you think he's so easily replaceable?
  3. I agree that something different needs to be done. Having John Brown back will likely help, probably Feliciano and Ford back will help too. It is the same playbook as the first 4 weeks. Did you really think Allen was going to throw for 5000 yards and 50 TD's this season?
  4. seriously? Just take a second and think of reasons why he might be clapping. You will probably be right. It's actually pretty easy to figure out.
  5. We did get over 400 yards in total offense.
  6. someone posted a still shot , on twitter, of the formation right before the snap. If accurate, it shows a weak call in my opinion. It looks like maybe Kroft is covering one end and Davis on the bottom is covering the left end.
  7. The illegal formation was a terrible call, and likely had nothing to do with a complicated playbook. Davis was considered too far off the line. He wasn't.
  8. it's hardly 'pure nonsense' it's making the difficult balance between the safety of a defenseless receiver and the ability to make a strong defensive play. It's worthwhile, even though they are difficult calls.
  9. What if he doesn't get into a rhythm, still.
  10. Anyone can play there in a pinch, can he play well is the question.
  11. That's crazy. He's a great commentator , no doubt, but it's not like people wouldn't watch the top game of the week without him on the broadcast.
  12. isn't he making about $15 million a year?
  13. Not sure there is any correlation between being a real good commentator and a successful head coach. A much different skill set is required.
  14. Isn't he 22? In his 3rd season? The time is now. Linebackers usually don't take 3-4 years to learn how to play.
  15. Give Tua 10 games this season, Dolphins have 2 firsts and 2 seconds in the next draft, Texans picks will be good. They are a pretty dynamic team right now, if Tua plays to expectations, they'll be an excellent team as soon as next season.
  16. Does it really seem like an obvious move? It never would have occurred to me at all.
  17. We traded up into the 3rd round to draft him. So no, we are not asking too much of him, he just hasn't done too much yet.
  18. I know you are not putting it all on him, but to say he 'set up' the great return isn't quite fair. He hit a great punt, according to Joe B, whom I really respect, Neal left his lane to allow the return. I'm not the leader of the Bojorquez fan club, but I think there's quite a bit of nitpicking in regards to his performance.
  19. "off the charts" ? does that mean potential to be one of the best ever? I don't see what he has shown to be 'off the charts'. He's made some nice plays, probably more bad ones.
  20. That's what averages are. He has 12 punts this season, 5 in the 20. Not too bad. He flipped the field on tuesday with a net 73 yarder, too bad the defense allowed a 90 yard drive.
  21. They don't need to tank, they are legitimately a horrible team that will be lucky to win 2 games.
  22. Prime is not necessarily chronological age, it's experience too. This is year 3, if his age is holding him back, maybe don't draft someone that young who won't be in his prime by the time his first contract is up.
