  1. He was with the team for 1 season. To say he had 'every chance' is a bit of a stretch.
  2. Actually, we ran more than we threw most seasons.
  3. Our Dline was still in flux. Lot of new additions, new coach, not much of a training camp, no exhibition games. The difference between then and now is night and day.
  4. He definitely needs to pick up his game, but I really think Roman doesn't do him any favors. Always thought he was the most overrated OC. The offense is all built on running, they have an amazing running game and they draft a RB in the first round. Look what happened when Allen has more talent around him. We built up the Oline and our WR corps this offseason, got him great coaching... doesn't look like the Ravens have given Lamar the same type of help.
  5. I'm gonna guess a miraculous recovery. No way the league has him miss the game.
  6. We were a running team in the 90's, much easier to deal with bad weather.
  7. Winning MVP is a big deal. He had a tremendous season last year. Should they give up on him? Is there any credible football person not giving Josh credit for being a great QB. Everyone has him in the MVP conversation.
  8. Last nights game will look really good on Frazier's resume.
  9. Murphy deserves some credit, he's a veteran that's been a healthy scratch, never heard a word of complaining. He was obviously preparing for the time they called on him again and he played a great game last night. Against Lamar, you need an end to hold the edge and he did that. It was great to see.
  10. Daboll will probably take some coaches and players with him.
  11. They both did their jobs very well. I can't think of one defensive player that didn't do their jobs exactly how the coaches wanted them too. It was about as great an execution of a game plan that one can expect.
  12. It's like Jim and John Harbaugh were raised by different parents. Hard to not like John, hard to not dislike Jim.
  13. Why are so many people concerned how some people will react to the game. This was a great victory. Enjoy it, don't expect to be miserable.
  14. Then don't read the newspaper. Listen to Harbaugh, he was good after the game.
  15. 4 of the 6 on the pregame picked us to win, but yeah, sure.
  16. I hear you, and I won't say I'm an expert, but is it that complicated? Is it something any qualified OC could develop with the type of personnel that the Bills have? I like Daboll and think he's done a great job, I just think that there shouldn't be much to worry about in replacing him outside the organization. This is a top job that the best OC's would love to have. The Bills will have their pick of the litter, hire the best guy. If they think it's Dorsey, cool, if outside the org, I'm good with that as well. Maybe simple is the wrong word, but is it so unique that no other OC could adapt to this personnel and have similar success? And with a running game perhaps?
  17. Even though Beasley contributed, I think his injury, along with McKenzie's ankle affected the play calling. Those couple short yardage plays that we gave to Moss likely could have been passes to Beasley or end around to McKenzie. I think much of the negative that happened against the Colts was about field position, and the Colts are really good.
  18. Is our offense really complicated? Beasley and Diggs run very vanilla patterns, just very well. Our line gives Allen a lot of time to throw. We've run a couple option passes, other than that, pretty normal stuff. We just do it very well. I think our offense is fairly simple, mostly shorter, high percentage passes that keep us out of 3rd and long. We have many weapons and a great qb. I'm for finding the best OC available, I'm leery of promoting someone who's never called games before.
  19. Maybe Daboll hires him as his OC?
