How often has it happened in the past? -
I don't think anyone has flown US Air in a while, they don't exist anymore.

He wore the socks once. And that was being polite to some of the cops out there. I think if he was looking for controversy, he would have said something about his actions instead of going a few weeks before someone made it an issue. I'm sure he was looking for attention, but being black, he should have assumed it would be controversial. Even though quietly kneeling for 30 seconds hardly sounds controversial. Now Tebow will try to go back to U of Florida. -

He's an entitled opportunist, in my opinion. That's what I dislike about him. I don't hate him personally, but just don't trust people like him. I don't think Kaep was attempting to be controversial, as he quietly knelt a few games before someone made an issue of it. If he wanted controversy, he would have spoke up before his first time kneeling. I'm sure he understood that it likely would be controversial, but not sure he was looking for it. I don't remember the Ray Lewis deal, but I disliked him since he was involved in that murder in Atlanta and helped cover it up. It was terrible that he got a job broadcasting after he retired. He's obviously a tremendous athlete, but are there better options out there for the position he's trying to win? Of course there is. -

A 34 year old that hasn't ever played the position and hasn't played an NFL game since 2012. Maybe it's not a stunt, but it's entitlement at it's finest. He wants another participation trophy. -

no, but I don't remember the backlash how you describe it, but I may not have paid attention. I'm comparing the reaction to his kneeling(on the clock), compared to the reaction to Kaep. Not quite the same. -

and then no team signed him, the president called him an SOB and said owners should dump him..., never to get a chance to play in the league again. but he's making lots of money and I believe that was the message Jesus tried to instill on us, the importance of money. -
Miami to release CB Bobby McCain.

Before everyone dismisses Tua, you need to keep in mind that he was coming off of major hip surgery. Doctors described his injury as one more likely seen in a car crash as opposed to a football game. I can't imagine he was playing close to 100%. I don't know that he'll be any good, but too early to write him off. If not for the injury, he's likely #1 overall pick. -
I've watched youtube highlights of a few games from the past season, and acknowledging that they are 'highlights', Singletary looked really good when given any chance to with a little space. Also, there wasn't any game that the game plan was centered around the running game, I think there will be more emphasis on running than last season, while still being a big passing team.
-
There's a very revealing stat from last season, both Moss and Singletary took their first hits within 2 yards of the LOS, some of the worst numbers in the league, however, they were in good company with yards after initial contact, confirming your comment on offensive line failures.

Cardinals still showing the “Hail Murray”

That pass was Allen's best throw of the season. It was amazing. and it was 30 seconds before.... -

We still talk about our teams that lost 4 straight super bowls. We didn't make the playoffs since 1999 before McDermott took over and look how Bills fans react to some success. You'd think we were the 2nd coming. Why shouldn't the Cardinals show that highlight, it was by definition, a highlight. -
He did. 1973-1976

I remember a great weekend home from St Bonas- Talking Heads concert the night before at UB and a great game on Sunday.
-
I didn't say 'only', but I think it's been obvious that crowd noise can hurt an offense, specifically the passing game. If you're on the road in Seattle with no fans, your offense likely will do better than if it was a full stadium. That's all I'm saying.
-
I get that, but we were talking about the Bills running game, not other teams. Different situations. We threw a great deal more, sure, if Allen wasn't great we would have run more, but I still think it's easier to throw with no crowd noise and I would expect we might need to run a bit more, not a lot, but definitely more.
-
Allen threw for 1500 more yards and 17 more TD's.
-
The plan is Singletary, Moss, Brieda and Williams. The fact that you're not sold on them is totally irrelevant. With no crowd noise it was much easier to pass, especially with our offensive talent. If you can throw all day without issue(Seattle game), why bother running. I think we will be forced to run more as crowd noise on the road will make things a little more difficult for offenses around the league

Wait a sec... maybe Brown and Doyle are... Guards?
klos63 replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Keep in mind many here want to replace Morse and Ike played well, but nothing earth shattering. Probably not the best comparison. Signing Williams to an extension and Beane stating that Ford will likely be a starter next season pretty much guaranteed Ford staying at guard. -
He was injured halfway through the 3rd qtr.

Bills trade pick #174 to HOU for two 6th round picks

Maybe they take a project DT in the 6th round, isn't that where projects usually come from, late round picks? -

I'm sure one tackle is projected to start in 2 years. Star is still under contract, maybe they're not looking to replace him right now. -

I know, the Bills drafted this guy named Dane Jackson in the 7th round last year, he has no chance of making the team, right?
