We have a new OC and new OL coach. Not sure that they are on the same page and not sure these are the players that Kromer wants. Kromer used a lot of 2 TE sets in LA, we are doing that a bit more now, but it's not a feature. Deep passes also put pressure on the OL, not sure Dorsey is doing the line any favors with his play calling.

How was he derailed by early season hype. He played elite football when healthy.

Periphery issues? No these are issues that people are using to promote McD for coach of the year. To use the play by play announcer having a stroke is absurd. I think McD should be in the COY conversation for many reasons, but not that one for sure.

I guess my point is, why? Why is the Top shooting a Bills adversity? What has he done that warrants COY after Murphy's stroke? Do we take into account other cities tough times in determining if their coach should win the award. The Steelers delivered toys today to Hamlins charity in Pitt, does Tomlin get COY votes for that? maybe the correct spelling of her name made you not recognize it.

Come on, I know everyone in the community cares about the victims in the Tops shooting, but why single out McDermott for national recognition. Every business in the city then did the same thing, right. Should every business owner be lauded for getting through that incident? Should Granato also get coach of the year? Do we compare what happened in other cities for other coaches? I mean, how many cities don't have mass shootings?

I think McDermott is a great coach, but why does he get credit/votes for John Murphy having a stroke or some racist shooting up Tops? It snowed in Chicago a couple days before our game, why is that a feather in McD's cap?

Yeah, sometimes I try to research things to try to give accurate information. Calling sports 'kids games' is a way to knock the league down, and it's a lazy thinking way of doing it. It's a stupid comment.

Why do people always say football , and other sports, are just kids games. They aren't. Football was 'invented' for college play, not for 'kids'.

I think they should play. Not to be insensitive, but how much time do they need? After my father died , i missed a few days of school, my mother, missed a few days of work, my brother... went in to work that day. Hamlin is thankfully alive and appears to have shown some improvement. I'm far from one of those 'man up' aholes, but I still think they need to move forward.

Agreed. I don't think it's unreasonable to think that Tua did this on his own. Hit his head, felt like he could continue. I know everyone here hates the dolphins but I doubt that anyone knew of his issues during the game. I couldn't tell anything from watching on TV.

Do we need to donate to his charity again?

I think they'd be fine throwing to those 2 most of the game, it's those 3 4th qtr interceptions that will get you everytime.
