  1. Now if you beat up customers you're ok.
  2. Other players kneel as well. Other players complain about police brutality. they're not being blackballed.
  3. The company time line is BS. Players do a lot of self promoting at games. Tebow used to kneel and pray on 'company time'. Bills players used to gather at midfield after the game and pray. That's non football stuff on 'company time'.
  4. and how much is he 'allegedly' asking for?
  5. They do?
  6. How was it a gimmick? 2012 and 2013, 1000 yard rusher, 1000 yard receiver.... pretty standard.
  7. Fair enough, but I don't think he's the one complaining about being blackballed, I'm sure he's disappointed, but it's mostly those that support him that say he is blackballed.
  8. Call it whatever you want, but blackballed is a pretty accurate term. He quietly knelt for about 40 seconds before the games started, other players still are doing that. We have domestic abusers that are in the league and by your definition, they are also lousy employees, yet most are still in the league.
  9. Those darn socks. Why didn't he just beat up some girl and he'd be welcomed back with open arms. You don't know how to look that up?
  10. other than the fact that he's been working out constantly for the last few years, practiced with NFL players this past offseason and has his agent calling NFL teams looking for a tryout. I get people don't like him, but it's amazing listening to all the people that think they know what's going on inside his head.
  11. let's wait til they actually play some games before saying they are back.
  12. The XFL doesn't exist. And playing well there wouldn't make a difference. Did you watch the Jets game Monday? Dolphins? Some awful QB play
  13. Josh Johnson hadn't played in 7 years and was signed last season. The reason he isn't signed is because he's a lightening rod for crazy media coverage, it has nothing to do with his ability. Look at all the crappy QB's that played in week 2. I'm guessing with a full camp, he'd be no worse and likely better than some of them.
  14. The XFL was a joke and they wanted him for publicity.
  15. Not agreeing that he sucks, but most QB's in the NFL suck.
  16. His agent says he would sign on as a backup, which would assume he would sign for backup pay as well. I agree that he probably won't get any offers, but no need to make up crap about him. If only he abused his GF... he'd have been reinstated a couple years ago. If you're going to make a point, at least attempt to be accurate, you asked me for proof.
  17. Did you even bother to look before posting about him opting out to confirm that? https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/2017/05/31/colin-kaepernick-john-lynch-kyle-shanahan-san-francisco/102358456/ Some team would need to offer him that before he could sign. Led his team to the playoffs twice, one time to the Super Bowl and almost won.
  18. Where did you hear that? I heard his agent is expecting backup QB pay.
  19. He can blame teams that would rather start someone like mark sanchez. He was given the choice to opt out or be cut. Either way he wasn't playing on SF. There you go. I agree I can't see any team taking him, but I hope teams that choose to knowingly suck at QB because they're afraid lose every game in embarrassing fashion. Like the Jets the other night.
  20. Quite a few players, but I'm really impressed with Shaq Lawson. Some team is going to make him very rich next year.
  21. Waiting for some genius to call the Bengals a 'trap game'. But do we have enough cap space to sign FA's and all our draft picks?
  22. Now we are both on the same page.
  23. What fans think is irrelevant to game results.
  24. It deserved a wise ass answer.
