I agree with you, but ESPN First Take with Stephen Smith isn't the 'front page' by any stretch. They're hacks like pretty much everyone else. But it was quite a debut for Jones.
are you old enough to remember 'Rich Stadium' with 20K in the stands. I do, I was one of them. We often had crappy attendance. Pretty much every city has fans that stay away when they aren't very good.
You think they're overrated? I know they played crap teams, but they are the defending champs with a defense that was expected to dominate. They couldn't really have done much better than they have so far.
i don't think they'll be surprised about anything. They'll know we are 3-0, they'll have watched films.... if we win, we have to beat them, not expect the Patriots to underachieve.
so you're sticking with the Patriots being overrated take?
I think any shift in the playbook will be to exploit our strengths vs their weaknesses, that's the logical approach to any game. It should be interesting, hope Singletary is available.
while vastly improved, the line has weaknesses and the injury to Feliciano was significant. This will make it tough for Allen to stand in the pocket for long pass plays. They are a tough line and can do some nice things, but still need improvement.
I thought our 2014 team was pretty balanced, great defense , pretty good offense. Not sure what the rankings were, but having Allen makes the difference for this team.
A best case scenario is usually the best news possible, which would be ready to practice this week and play next week. Being out 6 weeks is a bad case scenario.
