  1. I’m really sorry for your loss. Its tragic. I’m welling up, because I’ve had similar thoughts during Bills games, especially recently. For so many of us, the Bills truly are more than a football team. They represent our family. They truly need to win it all ..soon. Because there’s a lot of us with life long Bills fan, family members that may not be able to say there’s always next season. For alot of us the number of next seasons is dwindling. I wish you and your family wellnes and peace Daggers... and to all our friends here, may we all rejoice soon after a lifetime of hoping.
  2. Completely agree. I fear our cap situation is going to force a couple of really good players’ departure.
  3. I’m not saying I completely disagree with most of these thoughts. However, I do think Singletary is grossly undervalued and under appreciated by most fans for some reason. He doesn’t have the breakaway speed to take it to the house on any play, but he almost always makes more yards, than the play seems allowable with our line.
  4. Do you think the league didn’t ask the Bills and Bengals if they wanted to play that game? If the Bills wanted to play it, I’m certain it would not have been canceled.
  5. That was the only reason I really wanted us to win yesterday. The idea of going back to cinci in 2 weeks was not a pleasant thought. True. But everyone with this sentiment just needs to get over It. We played one less game. Yeah, the circumstances were terrible, but no one wanted to finish that game, and cramming it in was senseless. We lost control of our own destiny when we cancelled that game. It sucks, but thats the way it goes. We still ended up #2 and don’t play in Cinci or KC again this year. Considering the circumstances, I think we came out as well as can be expected. Had the Bengals forced the isseue, i would have been in favor of forfeiting the game all together and settle for the 3seed. Luckily they acted with class and care.
  6. Wasn’t a defender at his feet, preventing him from stepping into the throw at all. Perhaps even makin him hesitant after the low hit last week.
  7. I don’t know if its a lingering ankle issue causing him to lose concentration or just a mental issue. But Davis needs a sports psychologist as much as anything to help him get back to where he was. I hope Beasely is ready for a full load, because Diggs needs someone else out there for the defenses to think about.
  8. Thought they did that for the tv networks? I may be wrong.
  9. One thing about the Bills win, like so many games this season; they didnt look good the whole game. But the Bills never stop, they just keep going, keep playing and keep scoring. So what seems like a close game... in the end is a 2 score win. That’s what good teams do. They understand its a 60 minute game, not just a 1 quarter game. I love this team.
  10. In all seriousness, when was the last week that we could say was a “normal” week? They’ve won 13 games and are the #2 seed, despite all the adversity.. all season long. It’s just astounding and hands down McD has to be coach of the year. Great win. Great team. Great season. Let’s keep it going one more week!
  11. As do I. Perhaps partly because after the events of the week, this game seems pretty small. Perhaps partly because we’re in the playoffs amd playing next week regardless of the outcome. Perhaps partly becauae we’re playing an average team, at best. (I know being the 2 seed is better.)
  12. There was about 5:58 left in the 1st quarter. Just over 9 mins of game time had elapsed.
  13. I don’t know that it had to be played, but they did need to determine a “winner” for the playoff ramifications. Hence a simple coin flip or use win percentage, as many suggested was already the plan during 2020. i can’t see the logic in the current proposed and being discussed group of convoluted scenarios. Would a coin flip be the most fair solution for the Bills and Bengals? Maybe not, but it was their decisions not to play the game ...a decision I 100% support.. that lead to the “coin flip” result.
  14. Thanks. Thats kinda where I’m at with it. Just play the games this weekend then we’ll see how it all sorts out Sunday night. In the meantime, just keepin praying for Hamlin and the team to keep getting better.
  15. Am I the only one that thinks the nfl found the most convoluted solution possible? I think they figure if no one understands it, then we’ll all assume its fair.
  16. In all respects, it was way worse than a “normal” week and not even close to a bye. I’d imagine the players and staff feel mentally, emotionally, and physically drained. What they’ve gone through is the the type of stuff that ages you... not rests you.
  17. My point is... you determine that mechanism (no contest bengals game; win percentage to determine seeding - latest idea floated). Announce it. Then let play the games this weekend and let it the seedings fall where it may. You don’t play the games first.. then announce the plan... which basically means the league has all the data and picks the seeding or is perceived that way. It is ..A.. goal. But its not ..THE.. goal. we can still accomplish the ultimate goal without the #1 seed. There was a fairly dramatic event on Monday that made the #1 seed far less important..and difficult to ensure without replaying the Bengals game. My point here is that too many people seem supremely focused on how we can get the #1 seed, and all I’m saying is that would be nice, but its not mandatory and given whats happened, I think the team isn’t as focused on that as some here are.
  18. 2 thoughts: 1. The league should announce the plan for handling all this today or tomorrow. They can’t wait till after the during or after the weekend. Because then they’re introducing perceived bias. At least this way the teams have “some” control over the outcome by winning or losing. 2. The number 1 seed isn’t the end all be all. The 1 seed isn’t the goal. So people need to get over it. Whatever scenario the league comes up with, the Bills will likely lose the 1 seed. The only way to guarantee we keep it is to play the Bengals and Pats and win both. And the team doesn’t want to play the Bengals yet. So get over it.
  19. I agree with whatever the league and teams decide here for seeding. Trying to play/finish the Bengals game is just not a good idea. Just figure some way to seed the teams thats agreed upon and let it work itself out from there. This isn’t about the Bills getting the 1 seed, its about finding a way to move forward that’s fair and doesn’t cause the Bills players any more pain than they already have.
  20. Agreed. And at the same time... waiting to see what unfolds with Damar. If they said anything now, its rushed and callous. The league protects the shield.
