  1. In my mind, getting the #1 seed guarantees us one game closer to the Super Bowl, which is good! I agree the bye week doesn’t always help, but there is a mental aspect to consider as well. You get a break to get healthy, but for this team, it would have to be a relief to know you don’t have to go back to Arrowhead for a 3rd consecutive post season!
  2. Agreed! Unless KC loses, we really need (or I hope) to win out. This weekend is huge to win the Division crown, win now and then the Bengals game looms larger.
  3. Agreed! This game is huge! Its the last of a tough stretch of games and could set us up for an awesome run into the playoffs. With a win, we’re in the playoffs, have 99% chance of winning the Division (meaning 1 guaranteed home playoff game), amd retain the #1 overall seed for another week; all while beating the Dolphins! This is a big game and I’m looking forward to a beat down while the fans are going wild!
  4. I’m sure they do. Imagine feeling pretty good about winning each week and then coming here and reading nothing but negative hot takes about how bad you are. You think you’re doing good at 10-3, but to read this place you’d think it was the height of the drought with how bad everyone plays. It does matter. I know people say it shouldn’t matter what is said online, but it does. I’ll never understand why its so hard to treat people with respect and why people have forgotten the most basic of advice for a public message board: if you cant say something nice, you shouldn’t say anything at all.
  5. Why does every thread, every comment have to devolve into cheap shots at players? Dawkins doesn’t deserve that. It’s posts like this that make me really hope none of the players visit this board.
  6. I just read that. LOL. Wow is all I’m thinking. ...maybe a few months back when someone posted there was discord on the team, there was some truth to it? Josh wanted his receivers?? I dont know. But this move just got more interesting to me. I really hope Josh is right.
  7. I think the FO is recognizing what has been quite apparent for some time... McKenzie is not a viable replacement for Beasely. He should be, but he’s just not consistent and we need a consistent slot WR. I’m glad they’re not too proud to recognize the mistake they made and are bringing Bease back. Off the field, he seemed like a douche, but what matters more is on field production. The questions it’ll be interesting to see answered: 1. Does Beasely have anything left in the tank? If so, I think he starts next week. 2. Does McKenzie play the role of a good teammate? If not I could see him getting cut. Its a Bold move, hut with the #1 seed on the line you need to make a frw bold moves some times.
  8. With a big cold squish Another good Primetime Win Lets go Buffalo
  9. LOL. Exactly. I think the negativity comes from a life time of the Bills letting them down, mixed with a twisted logic that pointing out faults makes them more astute to the imminent final loss, that 31 teams have every year.
  10. I been thinking since last night, and I guess 10-3 should feel better than it does. But that’s not really got anything to so with the team or how they’re winning. Its more due to this board and the continual stream of negative opinions. After the win, I came here excited. I was anxious to read all the great takes on how awesome it was to beat the Jets. We’re 10-3 and taking care of the division 1 by 1. It was a good day! A bit nervous at times, sure. But we won and may have knocked the Jets starting QB out for a week or two. And, yet again, after another good win... there was already 6 pages of posts talking about how bad the game was, we looked terrible, this player or that sucks, and so forth. Within an hour after the good, divisional win; I was also just thinking of all the mistakes and how we barely won. Why? Because of all the negative, hyper critical, internet coaches who demand perfection and everything less is ..the worst. So, my advice, take a break from this place for a few days. Think about how we just kicked the Jets ass. Let that sink in. Then, start to feel the hype for stomping the Fins. We’re 10-3, on top the conference, and are in perfect position to control the division again! One more week, one more win, get it done! The score doesn’t matter. There are no style points. Just beat the fish on Saturday and keep the stranglehold on the division! It was a great, hard fought win yesterday, we’re 10-3, the #1 seed, and have another tough game coming up. Let that sink in. This has been an awesome season! We deserve this team and they deserve our support for playing so well through all they have. From all the injuries, missing key players each week, lost Hyde, Crowder, new punter a week before the season, Josh’s elbow, Poyer driving cross country to play, new OC, sick players, lost practices, tough schedule, through it all.... we’re 10-3. Let it all sink in and don’t let the demand for perfection take over. Go Bills!
  11. So we beat a fired up division foe by 2 scores, and the Bills win is less impressive than the Chiefs surviving in Denver? If the Jets don’t get that safety, the game likely ends at 20-7. The Bills had a comfortable lead and were cruising to a win. That safety gave the Jets life and fired them up. But then the defense did what they needed to extinguish that spark... force a fumble.
  12. We’re playing a tough schedule and I think many of the teams are better than we want to think. The Jets? The Lions? The Vikings? Next the Dolphins.. none of these are easy teams to beat. So, I agree, its been a lot of difficult wins against good teams. I’ll take it. I get critical review of the game. But what does get old is when players are called out as garbage and the hyperbole despite the win. If you read some posts, without knowing the score, you’d think we lost the last 4 games. So i guess perspective is missing by some? next week is huge!
  13. I would say inconsistent. But since GB, they scored: 17 30 31 28 24 20 today. Its hard to find too much fault with that production. The 17 and 20 point games - against the Jets - are the outliers more than the rule. Yeah, i think they need to get in sync and stop dropping passes. They need a dependable slot guy. But, I’ll take 4+scores on average every week.
  14. One game does not foretell the performance in another.
  15. Thank you! The Bills won! And we’re going to get another week of pissing and moaning about how bad the team is. Granted... this was the definition of an Ugly win. Look at the stats and the Jets O outplayed ours all game. But we scored and made the plays when we had to! That’s what champion caliber teams do! Yeah, they had entirely too many drops. Our WRs seemingly never make the tough, contested catch; while each week Jackson is giving up circus catches. Its odd! There’s a lot to clean up. Players need to get healthy. The O needs to get in sync. But we’re 10-3!! Beat a solid team. And grinding out tough wins. Gotta love it.
  16. I love Fitzy! Asking about the #17
  17. This is only my 2nd Thursday night game I’ve watched this season. Mostly because i wanted to see if last week’s broadcast was the anomaly. But is it the way Amazon is filming/capturing stadium sound? Is it Al Michaels just sounding old and tired? Is it just poor play on Thursday (although Bills and Patsies both had a full week to prepare)? I’m not sure, but this is about the worst NFL Broadcasting I’ve ever seen. (Only reason its still on is I’m in a hotel room listening while doing work)
  18. I suspect when the season is over we find out his elbow injury was more severe than he ever let on. I won’t be surprised if he has some surgery even. It seems, to me, quite clear his struggles have been due to over compensation for trying to limit excess torque on the elbow, and hesitation at times probably due to concern over the throwing angle or some such nonsense.
  19. By losing to the Bears. Beating all our NFC teams hurts our tow breakers
  20. If he ever became a winning QB, i think he’d be the biggest douche in the league - easily. As it stands, he’s an extremely below average QB that is limiting what the offense can do and he still thinks he’s good enough to have that attitude. Someone needs to pull him aside and remind him that he’s not good enough to have the attitude he displays.
  21. And as also noted, although the ball moved when he landed on the ground, it never touched the ground. And could it not be considered a “football move” when he repositioned the ball while falling? Seemed like a catch to me.
  22. A few thoughts: Al Michaels needs to retire. Bills got a big win! And now a good rest is needed. Sorry, so many posters lost $5 tonight.
  23. I don’t think most hate the Bills (some sure, probably are fans of other teams). I think they feel they need to constantly prove they are right. And sometimes that means the Bills need to lose so they can be right. So them being right, and making sure everyone knows they’re right (even if its just one time out of 10) takes priority over the Bills winning. Back to matters at hand... from my readings and observations, this is the game to blitz. Get pressure on their QB! On the other side, quick passes. This would be a great game to figure out how to run a screen play. Do those 2 simple things and I think its an easy win.
