  1. In other words, he’s not always right... except when talking down Bills, like you always do, then he’s absolutely right! Dude just give it a rest. We all know you like to be the “voice if reason” and constantly remind us all that the Bills suck and you’re the only one that sees it. We get it. But do you have to piss your thoughts into every single thread? just take the day off. You can come back tonight and tell us all the things that all the players did wrong while beating the Patsies.
  2. I disagree. I think his elbow is a significant factor into his play lately. I would imagine he feels it with almost every throw and is very much aware that he’s one hit or tweaked throwing angle from a more significant injury. All causing him to think more and over compensate some of his throwing motions. Its those end of the game, miracle throws that are the outlier because he knows he has to do it or lose. So he grits his teeth and lets it rip, so to speak.
  3. That to me is the true value of the #1 seed. You get a first round bye. Plenty of teams can win on the road, home field (outside of a few venues) isn't as advantageous as it used to be for a variety of reasons. But, being 2 wins away from the Super Bowl is much better than needing to win 3.
  4. And IMO this is why Madden was so good.. He watched the game, loved the game, and awarded the unsung heros that won the game. Now everyone just awards the QB and they get the praise regardless of what actually happens in a game.
  5. The Bills have had a pretty brutal last few weeks - physically and mentally. During the Lions game, at one point late in the game, the sideline reporter even mentioned how the Bills’ bench looked tired (or deflated or quiet or something along that line). To me.. even in the Knox mic’d up video they all appeared to be “going through the motions” for a lot if it. They just seemed wore out (except Ed Oliver). Having a full week to prepare and getting a few guys back this week is huge. They just need to find a way to win, without any more injuries. I feel like if they do that... it’ll be a huge, collective team sigh of relief. Kinda like the worst is behind them type feeing. They’ll have 10 days to rest, get healthier, practice. ..and be set up for a strong final push! I think the Fins and Jets have benefitted a little from an easy schedule this year. They’re improved teams, but are they battle tested and ready for the final push like the Bills are? I don’t think so (as long as we get healthy for it).
  6. How can anyone say this? We’re currently 8-3 (better record than last year) and we’ve had to rely on our depth players all over the field since week 1. We’ve had day 1 starters miss multiple games at pretty much every position except QB and RB. I would say our roster depth has been tremendous.
  7. I agree. Then offense lacks creativity and has predictable tendencies that opposing teams have figured out... hence more interceptions especially in the condensed spaced within the red zone. I don’t understand why a playbook doesn’t stay with the team and we have to let a new OC reinvent the wheel.
  8. I get the feeling that posters here took an internet rumor, then worked themselves up in to a frenzy of circular agreeing with each other, while no one knows anything that’s actually happening at 1 Bills Drive. Maybe we just stop the rampant speculation and concrete conclusions about a player’s mindset, until such time that the player actually says something.
  9. A lot of the caches by Cleveland were the same... amazing individual plays by the QB or the WRs. It just amazes me how teams and players always seem to have career type games/plays against us and our WRs have trouble catching balls that hit them in the chest.
  10. More than I thought... but given the odds there... I’m still not sure I want Allen to win league MVP this year
  11. How many league MVPs have won a Super Bowl on the same year?
  12. Thank you. After 2 losses and then the week this team had and missing key starters; they took care of business and won the game. For the people criticizing this win, I genuinely wonder if they’re Bills fans. Because this was an awesome win after everything this team has been through. Let’s just hope they can grind out another one on Thursday.
  13. Maybe they were thinking the players would want to make sure their families were all ok during the storm?
  14. Good lord is there ANY THING about this team we’re not criticizing this week!? I do wonder if some posters here actually like anything in the world.
  15. Could the Bills do that? Just say hey our players will on the field at kickoff. Make the Browns deal with getting their through the snow. Definitely would if this was Miami.
  16. Anyone ever consider that blue over blue is the owner’s favorite combo, and she’s recovering from health issues. So the team is wearing that combo in support of her. ?? Just a speculation.
  17. Considering that since the season opener we’ve had multiple starters miss each game, along multiple starters playing with fairly serious injuries; I’d say the depth on this team had been tremendously good. We’re 6-3. Yeah, should be better, but with all the injuries each week this is the type of season you see alot of teams 4-5 at this point.
  18. The safest and surest decision to secure a win is to get the FG at that time in the game. You now would force them to score 2 touchdowns and make both extra points (they missed one). If the other team does that you only need a FG to still win the game. So, at that point, with limited possessions, you’re forcing them to score 2 touchdowns and keep you from getting 1 FG. In the first quarter, maybe 2nd, sure go for the TD. But late in the game extend your lead any way you can and force them to drive the whole field with each possession.
  19. Quoted so its not buried. You nailed it. #2 and 3, in particular seem outrageous. Singletary, in my mind, is starting to feel like the Fred Jackson situation. We ha have a pretty good RB, he always picks up positive yards, rarely tackled for a loss; yet they are constantly looking for a replacement and/or abandon running with him all together. It makes no sense. Josh’s QB sweep used to be deadly for yards, including touch downs inside the 15. But we’ve removed that play entirely from the playbook. Did Daboll have it patented and we can’t use it anymore? I agree, don’t call QB keepers regularly, but there is a time and place. But the coaches seem to have zero situational awareness for what is goin on in the game.
  20. Exactly. But then they follow those plays up with complete fails... fumble for a td... 4th and 23. And on and on the woes go
