Yep!! That’s the kind of thing 1st class organizations do. I sense that the Bills will operate like that. There is a reason players love Buffalo.

The only reason that I am bothered by it is that these players often have bonuses and such tied to it. Take a guy like Jordan Phillips for example. He is 2nd in sacks for all DTs. Geno Atkins took a spot that should have gone to Phillips. I don’t know the depth of bonuses in his contract but say he had $250k riding on it. He should be angry. It’s not so much that I am mad that people are selling the Bills short. I feel bad for the players that have earned this recognition and potentially money. We have some guys that should be there.

Well, I usually don’t let the lack of respect bother me. This feels a little different because a lot of guys have a lot to lose from this. Jordan Phillips should be there. Tremaine Edmunds should be in. John Brown should be a first alternate as well. Dion Dawkins and the safeties should have been considered. The Bills are 10-4 and have arguably the best defense in the league. On principle alone they should have sent about 4 guys. You shouldn’t have a team that finished 2 games ahead of them sending 12 guys. You shouldn’t have had bad teams sending 3. The Bills roster has always been underrated but they should have earned the respect this year. There should have been a minimum of 3 defensive players and then a handful of other guys that could have gone.

Again, no argument with this. The Bills have been .500ish for most of the decade. There were a couple of bad years and now a good one in there. In general though that’s about right.

That’s where I’m at. I actually think the Bills power rankings at the moment are totally fair. I have no issues with them in that spot.

This is exactly where I stand on it. I don’t always have sympathy for a lot of guys that do dumb stuff. Usually that’s the case with failed tests. I have 2 good friends that played in the league and both had drug suspensions from adderall. They were idiots. Josh Gordon isn’t that. He’s an addict. He has a drug problem. I was engaged to an alcoholic. She’s almost 3 years sober now but I saw the way that controlled her. You become powerless. Josh Gordon needs to focus on fixing his life and worry about football another time.

I can SO get behind this kind of stuff. While some of you like to hand the ball to the ref and act like you’ve been there, I like to dance on their grave. This team has “it.” On a side note if we are adopting any tradition (which I’m against 99.9999% of the time) I want “You’ll Never Walk Alone” from Anfield. There isn’t a tradition, in all of sports, that fits the way that would fit us. It is absolutely perfect. Can you imagine this scene right before the opening kickoff in Orchard Park?!?
