  1. Perhaps former president Fat-Ass could learn something from her?
  2. I can't loathe a guy who isn't as good as he was expected to be. For me, the most loathsome are two players I loved watching, but were complete garbage human beings: OJ Simpson and Brett Favre.
  3. No, they will have a fat-ass clown in orange makeup, whining and crying like the worlds oldest baby...
  4. He will help Trump in other ways...he's a slimy *****
  5. I think you, and many others, underestimate how much people really do not like Trump...getting shot doesn't make him a more likeable person. He's fundamentally trash...funny that Trumpies are so mad about Joe dropping out. They thought diaper Don's only chance was to beat someone that they thought was functionally incapable. He picked a horrendous VP, is intellectually lazy, and is running on policies that 2/3 of American disagree with...and he is a criminal.
  6. He bribed Lumpy into naming the pathetic JD Vance as his VP, then backed out when he got his way.
  7. One of the best shows I ever went to was John Mayall's Bluesbreakers at Melody Fair, 1982. The band included John McVie (Fleetwood Mac) and Mick Taylor (Roiling Stones). Hot summeer night, they blew the roof off that little tent. Taylor was phenomenal... RIP
  8. Musk is a pile of *****...
  9. So happy! Between the Bills, Sabres and Celtics, my cumulative record as a fan is 5-140...all 5 championships from the Celtics. Congrats to the Mavs too. Great season for both teams.
  10. Do we know for a fact that it is a Bills player?
  11. He just couldn't bare to see the Celtics get #18 Respect! RIP Jerry!
  12. Not me. It's a short week for Miami too. They won't have their "sun beating down" on their opponent advantage...it will be arly enough in the season for the players to be, hopefully, still relatively fresh. I think we get a good break there. I'd prefer their game in Buffalo to be in December
  13. Wathced this over the weekend...good times! Love hearing the commercial break commentary from Roman Gabriel and his partner. The broadcasts were so simple then...it really is kind of refreshing. I knew we were like 7-9 that season, so going in, I had no idea if the Bills won or lost...my memory not so good! Love all these old, complete, games popping up on youtube. Been watching quite a few the last few months... not just Bills games.
  14. Other than the "professional roasters" (Glaser, Ross, etc0 it was pretty bad.
  15. Khruangbin - A LA SALA (Full Album) (youtube.com)
  16. I am not really sure what to make of Diggs declining numbers in the last half of the season. Chicken and egg kinda thing. Did he "decline" because they weren't using him as much? Or were they not using him that much, because he was in decline? I do remember saying to some friends of mine, late in the season (and they thought I was being overly dramatic) but I just thought Diggs attitude seemed, very uncharacteristically lackadaisical. He just didn't seemed bothered, or agitated...like he mentally was saying "I don't give a ***** anymore, I am out of here next year". Everyone told me I was imagining it, he was a great competitor, and there must be some injury issues that they aren't talking about. I heard everyone say that there was absolutely no way they could trade him, because of the cap hit...but I knew it was going to happen! It had to. The only surprise to me was that they didn't wait til after June 1st. Especially since they didn't get anything in this year's draft in return. Personally, I think the guy is not done, and still can play at a high level, if he is interested...but he just wasn't interested in doing that in Buffalo anymore. The lazy pundits, and the social media commentators who follow sports, not by watching the games, but by reading what the lazy pundits and other equally un-knowledgeable social media commentators have to say. There always has to be a bad guy... there are those who will say this proves how "overrated" Allen is... some will say it only proves how inept the Bills are... and others will say it only illustrates that Diggs is a "diva". Personally, I hate to see Diggs go...but once a player decides they don't want to play for you, the best thing to do is to just get them out of there. I happen to follow the NBA (I know, not super popular here) and this happens all the time in that league. It seems like this thing with Diggs was festering for close to 2 seasons...it wasn't going to get better. I think the Bills made the right move in trying to make it work (Diggs is a fanatastic player), but I also think they did the right thing in pulling the plug...the cap hit sucks, but it would be the same as if he had just been injured for the whole season.
  17. As an Austinite, I am always leery of the Bills drafting Longhorns... long on talent, but not the smartest kids out there.
  18. I don't come here as much as I used to, so I am not sure if Tim Graham is still taboo here, but I've always liked him. Just listening to his podcast tonight, and he told a interesting story about Diggs/Allen. Apparently, after the opening game (the disaster against the Jets) Allen was sitting in front of his locker, towle draped over his head, obviously not happy, reflecting on his disastrous performance. One by one, teammates were coming up to him, padding him on the shoulder, saying things like "we got your back", "we'll get them next week"... after multiple players tried to cheer Allen up, Diggs stepped up to him and said something. Graham said he didn't report it at the time, because he wasn't sure what Diggs said...but apparently, it irritated Allen, and he yelled at him "It's one ***** game man!" Also heard some rumors that during the season, Allen had expressed his unhappiness about always feeling like he had to "walk on eggshells" with Diggs. It was fun while it lasted, but I think this was the right move.
  19. I love the old broadcasts. HD is awesome, but I really miss the focus on the game, instead of the incessant graphics and stats. And, I loved McGuire and Theisman...their commentary was spot on.
  20. Just watched the end as well...I still think that was a forward pass.
  21. Thanks! Great explanaation!
  22. When EJ Manuel and Sammy Watkins were Bills, fans were super ***** toward them. Sammy had an adorable daughter, and pretty much all he posted was pictures of the two of them doing things together. Bills fans would just badger him non-stop saying things like "There is Sammy hard at work doing nothing to ensure he can stay healthy". His family members always defended him, it got really ugly. I was embarrassed, as a Bills fan. Diggs is a fantastic player, but I think, in some ways, he brings a lot of the negativity on himself. While I agree, much of his "drama" is media driven, but he could easily quash it if he wanted. It's like he likes the attention.
  23. So, I haven't read this whole thread...I am one of those in the camp that believes he is not going anywhere...I think it is media driven....though I do think Diggs kinda get off on it too. Maybe, like Dion Dawkins last week by falsely saying that he had been released, Diggs is just looking for some of that legendary Bills-mafia love. It may be silly for fans to read too much into "cryptic" tweets, but he knows what he is doing. Honestly, every time I think I understand the cap/dead money thing, I read something that makes me realize I don't. The argument that he won't be traded seems mostly based on the fact that it would have a massive negative impact the Bils salary cap situation. But something I read earlier today said that if they waited until after June 10th to trade him, they would "save 19 million in 2024 cap space, but it would cause 8 million in dead cap money". Can anyone explain this? How can you get cap relief, but also incur 8 million in dead cap? It would seem to me. if the Bills did want to trade him it wouldn't be that huge a hardship. Is it like essentially giving 28 million for 19 million? Of course, you would have to find a trade partner...after the draft. But it doesn't seem that un-doable if they simply want to cut ties.
  24. Meh... Are those blue, or black?
  25. Strangely, completely by coinincidence, I wsa in visiting Buffalo the day they signed him. Me and my nephew went into a card shop. He purchased an old pack of cards, and he pulled an autograph Poyer rookie card. We thought it was a good omen. He will be missed
