  1. So the Bills are going to take 1 of 4 of the highest rated players in the draft. Is there something else in the 11 pages of posts that I am missing?
  2. Why would you include them when the article is grading players that were DRAFTED?
  3. No mention of Gabbert @ #3 inside of OBD?
  4. Not that I want a WR @ #3, but if I had to choose, I like Julio Jones over AJ Green. Green looks like somebody whose legs would snap in half the first time he takes a decent hit.
  5. I only caught a bit of the interview, but a guest on Sirius NFL radio this morning was saying that Bills might try to trade back into the end of the 1st round in order to draft Locker.
  6. You expect your post to compete with..."Gabbert SUCKS"! Nice write up! People constantly say this about Kyle Williams(moving to a 3-4 DE) and I wonder the same thing.
  7. 1. NO CB or WR at #3. If the Bills have a great grade on Newton or Gabbert, fine. If not, DL or OLB. 2. Do NOT trade back into the 1st round. The further you go into the draft, the more of a crapshoot it is. They are not in a position to be pissing away extra picks to move up from #34 back into the 1st round.
  8. I agree with that. My point is they have shown NOTHING to date that would get me excited about their roles in 2011.
  9. I worry that Ralph is butting in regardless of who we pick and what round of the draft it is.
  10. Looks like he is a just a VERY tall WR, but if the kid can play in a 4 or 5 WR set, I'm all for it.
  11. # Green Bay Packers: Cam Newton, QB, Auburn Congratulation to the Green Bay Packer for winnin' the doggone playoff. To the victory go the spoiled food! If the Packer want to win the doggone playoff for the second time in a row, they gonna need new blood at the quarterback. Aaron Rodgers a good athlete, but the Packer are puttin' all their egg in one basketball if they countin' on Aaron Robinson to do what he did last year again this year. Can Newton good enough to be takened three time in a row in the mock draft. He is that talent. He can throw the ball, he have confidence in his own confident, and he float like a butterfly, sting like a leopard.
  12. Troup and Carrington did next to nothing last year(especially Carrington). Other than the fact they were drafted in the 2nd and 3rd rounds respectively, there were not many signs indicating that they will be future starters. They are just as likely to be busts. Only time will tell. PS And this was on a defense that was HORRIBLE last year.
  13. Considering the Bills lack of success throughout all levels of the organization over the last 10+ years, I find it hard to laugh at any other team....even the Dolphins.
  14. I thought it was reported that without a new CBA, no players can be traded nor can any draft picks outside of this years picks be traded.
  15. I was also wondering this. I would hope the Bills organization lobbied hard against moving this game to Toronto, but then again, nothing would surprise me after this past decade.
  16. You don't know what you are getting regardless of who you draft. There are no guarantees.
  17. I'm looking forward to comparing the contracts of the 2011 top 10 players selected with last years selections... 1. Sam Bradford QB St. Louis Signed Six years, $78 million ($50M guaranteed) 2. Ndamukong Suh DT Detroit Signed Five years, $68 million ($40M guaranteed) 3. Gerald McCoy DT Tampa Bay Signed Five years, $63 million ($35M guaranteed) 4. Trent Williams OT Washington Signed Six years, $60 million ($36.75M guaranteed) 5. Eric Berry SS Kansas City Signed Six years, $60 million ($34M guaranteed) 6. Russell Okung OT Seattle Signed Six years, $46.5 million ($29.5M guaranteed) 7. Joe Haden CB Cleveland Signed Five years, $50M million ($26M guaranteed) 8. Rolando McClain LB Oakland Signed Five years, $40 million ($23M guaranteed) 9. C.J. Spiller RB Buffalo Signed Five years, $37 million ($20.8M guaranteed) 10. Tyson Alualu DE Jacksonville Signed Five years, $28 million ($17.5M guaranteed) It's about time this got fixed. PS What a surprise...player agents don't like the new deal. Those big commissions for getting their claws into a young college player just came to a screeching halt. "...Several agents said the proposals place unfair limitations on players entering the league."
  18. It sucks that there has been no F/A to date this offseason, but at least we had the draft to look forward to. It is really going to suck when the draft ends and then NOTHING. No OTA's, no signings, no trades, etc... I expect this to drag on well into summer and as the weeks go by, the frustration level of the fans will continue to rise.
  19. I wouldn't be surprised to see Ralph live to be 100+ and the Bills continuing to be mired in mediocrity the entire time.
  20. That is also what I remember, but I could be wrong. Once again, history being rewritten.
  21. You are right. I guess I should clarify my statement...teams that suck, that are drafting in the top half of the first round and have needs at multiple positions should not be subscribing to a BPA strategy.
  22. Buddy's goal should be to not run up with the pick card(for at least the first few rounds) as soon as the Bills are on the clock. Wait and see if the phone rings and what the other teams have to offer. What is the downside of using all your allotted time? THERE IS NONE!
  23. Modrak out...Borgnine in!!!
  24. NO NFL team makes their selection based on BPA no matter what BS they spew. For example, are you trying to tell me that if the highest rated player on a teams board at the time of their selection is a QB, that a team like New Orleans, Green Bay or San Diego(teams that are solid at the QB position) are going to take that QB in Round 1? I doubt it.
