  1. I'm looking forward to comparing the contracts of the 2011 top 10 players selected with last years selections... 1. Sam Bradford QB St. Louis Signed Six years, $78 million ($50M guaranteed) 2. Ndamukong Suh DT Detroit Signed Five years, $68 million ($40M guaranteed) 3. Gerald McCoy DT Tampa Bay Signed Five years, $63 million ($35M guaranteed) 4. Trent Williams OT Washington Signed Six years, $60 million ($36.75M guaranteed) 5. Eric Berry SS Kansas City Signed Six years, $60 million ($34M guaranteed) 6. Russell Okung OT Seattle Signed Six years, $46.5 million ($29.5M guaranteed) 7. Joe Haden CB Cleveland Signed Five years, $50M million ($26M guaranteed) 8. Rolando McClain LB Oakland Signed Five years, $40 million ($23M guaranteed) 9. C.J. Spiller RB Buffalo Signed Five years, $37 million ($20.8M guaranteed) 10. Tyson Alualu DE Jacksonville Signed Five years, $28 million ($17.5M guaranteed) It's about time this got fixed. PS What a surprise...player agents don't like the new deal. Those big commissions for getting their claws into a young college player just came to a screeching halt. "...Several agents said the proposals place unfair limitations on players entering the league."
  2. It sucks that there has been no F/A to date this offseason, but at least we had the draft to look forward to. It is really going to suck when the draft ends and then NOTHING. No OTA's, no signings, no trades, etc... I expect this to drag on well into summer and as the weeks go by, the frustration level of the fans will continue to rise.
  3. I wouldn't be surprised to see Ralph live to be 100+ and the Bills continuing to be mired in mediocrity the entire time.
  4. That is also what I remember, but I could be wrong. Once again, history being rewritten.
  5. You are right. I guess I should clarify my statement...teams that suck, that are drafting in the top half of the first round and have needs at multiple positions should not be subscribing to a BPA strategy.
  6. Buddy's goal should be to not run up with the pick card(for at least the first few rounds) as soon as the Bills are on the clock. Wait and see if the phone rings and what the other teams have to offer. What is the downside of using all your allotted time? THERE IS NONE!
  7. Modrak out...Borgnine in!!!
  8. NO NFL team makes their selection based on BPA no matter what BS they spew. For example, are you trying to tell me that if the highest rated player on a teams board at the time of their selection is a QB, that a team like New Orleans, Green Bay or San Diego(teams that are solid at the QB position) are going to take that QB in Round 1? I doubt it.
  9. If Fitz is the answer(I disagree), why do you want to spend a 2nd round pick on Ponder when there are so many other areas of need?
  10. Where has it been stated that Gabbert doesn't have a strong arm?
  11. I'm concerned about the reports of Newton's on camera/off camera personalities. Hopefully the Bills do their homework in this regard and get to the bottom of it prior to the draft. If the reports turn out to be much ado about nothing, take him if he is there... unless they have Gabbert rated higher.
  12. Agree. I have no idea how Reebok sells half the NFL **** that is on the shelves.
  13. I'm really hoping that Gabbert and Newton get passing grades(worthy of #3 pick) from the Bills and that one of them is available at #3. Not getting our franchise QB ASAP will only serve to continue this endless mediocrity(and that is being kind).
  14. According to Gil Brandt(on Sirius in the last hour or so), players can't be traded until a new CBA is worked out(this has been mentioned before) nor can a team trade any draft picks from 2012 or beyond.
  15. There will probably come a time where kickoffs are eliminated and the team taking possession of the ball just starts at the 25 or 30 yard line. It almost makes more sense than this constant tinkering of the kickoff rules. Changing where the ball is kicked from, how much of a running start the defenders can take, four man wedges, two man edges, no wedges, etc...
  16. The beauty of becoming a wrestler is he can go back on steroids and no one will care!
  17. ...and I am speculating that this pay cut doesn't apply to Ralph's top 2 guys.
  18. What if Newton is #1 on their board and Denver takes whomever is #2 on their board?
  19. NSFW! First thing that came to mind when i saw the word "zune"... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mCCXzNGKT30
  20. Let me be the first to say...RALPH IS CHEAP! I bet Littman and Overdorf aren't taking pay cuts.
  21. What a knucklehead... http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/03/15/adrian-peterson-slavery-nfl_n_836090.html "It's modern-day slavery, you know? People kind of laugh at that, but there are people working at regular jobs who get treated the same way, too. With all the money," Peterson continued. "The owners are trying to get a different percentage, and bring in more money."
  22. How many players are the Bills allowed to bring in for visits to OBD and who has been confirmed for such visits? Thx.
  23. I wonder what's next? He has already been compared to every black QB who has ever failed. Now being compared to random former Bills QB's?
