  1. If Fitz is the answer(I disagree), why do you want to spend a 2nd round pick on Ponder when there are so many other areas of need?
  2. Where has it been stated that Gabbert doesn't have a strong arm?
  3. I'm concerned about the reports of Newton's on camera/off camera personalities. Hopefully the Bills do their homework in this regard and get to the bottom of it prior to the draft. If the reports turn out to be much ado about nothing, take him if he is there... unless they have Gabbert rated higher.
  4. Agree. I have no idea how Reebok sells half the NFL **** that is on the shelves.
  5. I'm really hoping that Gabbert and Newton get passing grades(worthy of #3 pick) from the Bills and that one of them is available at #3. Not getting our franchise QB ASAP will only serve to continue this endless mediocrity(and that is being kind).
  6. According to Gil Brandt(on Sirius in the last hour or so), players can't be traded until a new CBA is worked out(this has been mentioned before) nor can a team trade any draft picks from 2012 or beyond.
  7. There will probably come a time where kickoffs are eliminated and the team taking possession of the ball just starts at the 25 or 30 yard line. It almost makes more sense than this constant tinkering of the kickoff rules. Changing where the ball is kicked from, how much of a running start the defenders can take, four man wedges, two man edges, no wedges, etc...
  8. The beauty of becoming a wrestler is he can go back on steroids and no one will care!
  9. ...and I am speculating that this pay cut doesn't apply to Ralph's top 2 guys.
  10. What if Newton is #1 on their board and Denver takes whomever is #2 on their board?
  11. NSFW! First thing that came to mind when i saw the word "zune"... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mCCXzNGKT30
  12. Let me be the first to say...RALPH IS CHEAP! I bet Littman and Overdorf aren't taking pay cuts.
  13. What a knucklehead... http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/03/15/adrian-peterson-slavery-nfl_n_836090.html "It's modern-day slavery, you know? People kind of laugh at that, but there are people working at regular jobs who get treated the same way, too. With all the money," Peterson continued. "The owners are trying to get a different percentage, and bring in more money."
  14. How many players are the Bills allowed to bring in for visits to OBD and who has been confirmed for such visits? Thx.
  15. I wonder what's next? He has already been compared to every black QB who has ever failed. Now being compared to random former Bills QB's?
  16. I know that there is no way to find this out, but I would love to know where the Bills rank in terms of spending in two categories... 1. Coaching staff 2. Front office staff related to football operations(not including Ralph's cost cutting cronies, Littman & Overdorf). I would bet they wouldn't be in the top half of the league in either category.
  17. You mean the same Charley Casserly who drafted David Carr #1 overall? Casserly also was the GM with the Redskins when they drafted Heath Shuler #3 overall. Remember him?
  18. Agree! Make Whaley the GM ASAP and see if he has what it takes. GB was 2nd in the league in defense in 2009. http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?archive=false&conference=null&role=OPP&offensiveStatisticCategory=null&defensiveStatisticCategory=TOTAL_YARDS&season=2009&seasonType=REG&tabSeq=2&qualified=true&Submit=Go
  19. This makes so much more sense than.... - Gabbert SUCKS! - Newton BLOWS! - I think <insert name> in the 7th round is just as good as taking a QB at #3. Bottom line, this team desperately needs a franchise QB, and if Gabbert or Newton make the grade then take one of them at #3. Just because the Pats got lucky with Brady in the 6th round, doesn't mean it is going to happen the same way for the Bills or any other team, anytime soon.
  20. Am I the only one who could not care less what Kelly thinks? I really hope that if the day comes when his "ownership group" buys the Bills, that he will not be in a position within football operations.
  21. Because sooner rather than later, the majority of the players would come back.
  22. As you and others have pointed out, I was incorrect in stating that the players are not looking for a raise. That being said, the owners are still in charge and don't have to open their books up. I still stand behind the owners 100%, and if the players don't like it, they can always walk away from football, put their 4 year degree to work, and there will be plenty of other players waiting for the chance to play at the NFL level.
