  1. You mean you are supposed to give it some thought before voting in the poll? PS Let someone else take the chance on him.
  2. No one knows how Bowers knee condition compares to Thurman's. Therefore, the comparison doesn't make much sense.
  3. The same Levi Brown who they thought so little of that after training camp they didn't even put him on their practice squad?
  4. Reportedly has a bone on bone condition in one knee. Not good.
  5. With the temporary "we're back in business" beginning today, does that mean UDFA's can be signed come Saturday evening?
  6. I thought Austin & Paea were DT/NT prospects. Are their scouting reports that suggest they can convert to DE?
  7. Take it for what it is worth, but in one publication I was reading, a scout was quoted on Wilson saying that he is way too stiff to the point where he can't bend over and touch his ankles. Don't know how this impacts his ability to succeed at the next level, but it didn't sound good. I'd love an OLB at 34 and I know at this pick that all players have flaws, but the Bills need to start hitting homeruns with their 2nd and 3rd round picks. Houston and Ayers...inconsistent tag Reed...converted DE I think they have to take a chance on one of these guys and then follow that up with a ILB in the 3rd or 4th rounds. This group as proven last year, isn't going to cut it... 50 Ayodele, Akin 57 Batten, Danny 59 Coleman, Antonio 54 Davis, Andra 56 Ellison, Keith 90 Kelsay, Chris 45 Kirlew, Jammie 58 Maybin, Aaron 55 Merriman, Shawne 52 Moats, Arthur 51 Posluszny, Paul 53 Torbor, Reggie
  8. He likes hockey only if it pertains to the Sabres and even then he is still not that informed. I would bet if you asked him to name 5 players on each NHL team, he'd screw up more than you would think for a guy who is a sports talk host in an NHL market. The again, Mr. Mensa probably has them memorized from studying his hockey card collection.
  9. I know it is all about the ratings and when you have no competition, it's kind of hard not to win the ratings battle, but the guy who should be fired is their boss. When your on-air personalities openly admit to not preparing for their job, isn't he the one that is ultimately responsible? I bet there are hundreds of guys in the area who would kill for a chance to have their full-time job be to talk sports for a living, with the only prerequisite being that you need to KNOW YOUR SPORTS!
  10. The amount of effort(sports knowledge) put into the morning and afternoon show is embarrassing. I'm not even sure they could have an in-depth discussion about the Bills and Sabres, which is why they resort to devoting hours of a show to Miller vs. Enroth and other nonsense like that. ...and then they wonder why they get the moronic phone calls.
  11. ^^^ This.
  12. Jones and Barkley have a LOT to prove before I put them in the same group(franchise grade QB's) as Luck.
  13. After the trade up failures of Losman and McCargo, I am permanently scarred. The draft is a crap shoot at the top of the first round and is even more so at the bottom of the round. Why give up a 2nd and a 3rd round or a 4th round pick(I'm guessing to move back into the first round(mid 20's?).
  14. If there is a poster here who does want to hop on this bandwagon, I'd love to hear why/
  15. Just like the now unwatchable pre-game shows on all networks, ESPN just has to keep adding more talking heads to every program they air until they become nothing more than a contest of who can talk over everyone else the most. They should go back to make it what made it great in the old days...Kiper and Berman at Radio City Music Hall. They can stick with the cutaway to the occasional remote from a teams headquarters.
  16. I've said it before...every time I watch Green highlights, I am waiting for one of his legs to be snapped. From the waist down, he is a twig. I'll pass.
  17. So who are the "can't miss" QB's in the 2012 and 2013 drafts that are so much better than Gabbert. Forget about Luck. The Bills will finish 5-11 or 6-10 and nowhere near the top pick in the draft.
  18. As opposed to blowing 1st round picks on an undersized RB, an undersized DE/OLB, another RB that wore out his welcome after 3 years, and reaching for a safety?
  19. The same people who claim that the Bills don't need a QB in the draft will be the same ones who will be crying for a QB next winter, if Fitz turns in a medicore season in 2011.
  20. I agree, which is why I still hold out hope that Gabbert got a franchise grade from the Bills and will be available at #3.
  21. I missed Dalton. I'd be shocked if the draft played out this way.
  22. 4 QB's in the top 10 would be the story of the night.
