If there is any consolation here, it’s that the staff knew this move was coming or was a very possible scenario for a while now. You’d hope that they’ve taken this into account in their extended time off and implemented their game plan to adjust accordingly.

So exactly how many players, plus the two PS elevations, would that leave them to play? I know some of those guys are IRed or on the PS already.

hmmmm. Seems like states/cities keep rolling out these guidelines and restrictions and yet, the NFL still finds a way to sneak by. I can't help but think there will be a clause or something done to allow these games to be played (even if they're moved to a temp location). We shall see!

I don’t get this channel. Rats. Any idea if it is streamed online or elsewhere? Curious to check out the game. I mean, he coach a division III top program for years an years. So I think he is comfortable where he is, but could take something if the situation were just right. I imagine all sorts of DII jobs were available to him throughout that stretch. It seems like his move was calculated and carefully thought out, and I imagine if he gets a chance at another one, it will be much of the same.

I’m watching ND vs North Carolina and notices lots of players have social justice lingo on the back in place of names (equality, peace,etc) Have other NCAA schools done this? Anyone have a list of the words players use? P.S. This is not meant to be discussion on the reasoning or people beliefs on the matter, I just was curious if others have seen this around college ball.

Probably because they’re playing the young guys over him. Cooks, Fuller get the most burn. Keke Coutee (sp?) plays a bunch but Randal Cobb was just put on IR so it’s kind of interesting timing. Maybe he was upset he isn’t getting more looks with Cobb down

I think this is the cleanest-cut. The Ravens broke protocol after receiving the league-wide memo from the commissioner explaining the potential consequences of this exact situation. Forfeit the game Sunday, in hope that’s they can play with those left on the roster for Thursday’s game. This stops the potential spread and impacts scheduling zero, resulting in no unfair alterations to other teams.

Why would they cancel practice? It just seems like I’d like to proceed as if we are playing Sunday. Edit: okay now I see. Still a tough call, but I’d probably opt to still practice

I play on chess.com, usually in the winter, and often in spurts. I’ll go months without playing, and then play random people online all day, every day, for weeks on end. I’m not very good, consistently. I’m usually playing at 1100-1300 in a 10 minute game. I learned as a kid from my dad, but stopped playing for years until I picked it back up a few years ago looking for something to do in the winter. I have a cousin, (on my Moms side) who is an International Master. He plays in tournaments all over the world. When we were kids, he once beat me without looking. I told him what piece I moved where and he still whooped me in no time. There is a tremendous amount of strategy and theory in this game. I’ve tried to learn but it’s a bit to dry for me. The best way to get better quickly is to learn a few decent openings for white and/or black, practice developing your pawns and play the computer on analysis mode.

Virus vaccine now!

It’s the worst kind of Sunday. For me, I’ll try and get a little extra work done around the house or for the job. I’ll have the games on from 1:00 through the prime time game but it’s just entirely different. The anticipation, excitement and devotion to the games just isn’t there for me. I’ll follow fantasy a bit closer than usual, and will still drink/eat but not the usual “go-to” items. It’s like a (blue light) Bills Sunday Light. Less hoppy, less alcohol, fewer calories and when it’s all said and done you just wish you had the real thing. hbu?
