Congrats from a Jets fan

Gase has never had success as a HC, and likely won’t get another chance. We did the same thing with Rex. Let it go! -

You better hope they fire Gase ASAP and somehow convince Sunshine to come to the big apple -
Edmunds on last play...
EmotionallyUnstable replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
On. Skates. Idk how many times I can say it. In his defense, this is not the easiest play to run through, but just another example in the long history of his absorbing blocks. At that point, just get down and cause a pile. -
I'd like to see Moss featured tomorrow...

I think Moss is a piece. Singletary is a piece. They are missing their Mecole Hardman, whether or not it is a RB or WR, Moss and Single don’t offer the game changing breakaway TDs. Id like to see them get a legit 3rd guy that plays STs, is lightning, can catch the ball and be our upgraded McKenzie. -

Dude plays LB on skates, it’s unreal edit: he showed some solid reads and thump for the first time in a while in the first half. Just WAY too inconsistent and soft for my liking. -
Bills 24, Pats* 21 Game Balls!!

Marlowe, too. Not sure which run specifically you’re referring to but I’m sure they will both show. Milano also was tackling ghosts today -

Okay? And that excuses missed tackles and lack of ability to get off blocks? -

marlowe sure stood out on the whiffed tackle on Harris’ TD run.... ...but he did lay the wood and made some plays -

Yea, man, he is not good. Neither was Edmunds in the 2nd half. And Milano was a fool when he played too. Not sure what to do at Lb... -
I hope McD knows this and will have Leslie draw up calls accordingly. We've beaten this horse dead, and Edmunds is who he is. We've seen his flashes and his bone-headed mind numbing flaws....it's time for the staff to capitalize on his strengths and limit chances to be exposed. I wouldn't be surprised to see running game stunts and blitzes. I expect NE to run a lot of play action, zone reads, RPO, etc. so giving Edmunds a specific assignment ahead of time and relying on the secondary to clean up behind him could help to put Edmunds into a successful position and not allow BB to take advantage of his 49's flaws.

Prediction Time: McDermott goes straight cover 0 on early downs, bringing pressures from different players (Taron Johnson, Jordan Poyer, etc.) selling out to stop the run. I imagine they will drop into a two shelled look (cover 4 likely) on longer 2nd and 3rd downs relying on the front 4 to contain Newton from running. I think he will challenge Cam to beat them early, and then force him to try and make plays that aren't there if they get behind the sticks. I said earlier in the week, and I'll say it again. It is IMPERATIVE that the Bill's special teams is on the ball, and ready for games. It seems like they are due some trickery within the punt game or elsewhere. Offensively, I think BB tries to take away Diggs and again force the Bills to drive the field, and take the underneath throws. I'd love to see Allen on the move today, with sprint roll outs, play actions, etc. and try to hit some bigger throwbacks across the zone underneath clear-outs. KC does it well, the Rams do it, I think it is well within Dabol and Allen's realm. I hope to see it!

Week 8: Patriots at Bills
EmotionallyUnstable replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Your last sentence is as true as can be. However, the similarities between the TEN and NE games end there. You can make the argument about injuries, CoVID and all that jazz but in reality: one team has talent and success on both sides of the ball this season while the other does not. They must NOT take this game lightly, because those NE players aren’t high schoolers and their coach isn’t a rookie. It is always a threat. That being said, a loss to NE would be crushing, where as the TEN loss was but a speed bump. Yes, if I had to pick one, I guess to me it’s more important Allen shine.
