  1. Hey, how's Brady looking with two rookies on the offensive line? Pretty good, huh?
  2. Driving out of darlington county Seen Wayne handcuffed to the bumper of a state troopers ford.
  3. I'm trying not to let 2011 impact how I feel about this season. The 2011 team lost a lot of guys to injuries as the season went along and they didn't have a lot of depth at any position to be able to overcome that. As of now, I'm fully invested in enjoying this team at this time. I don't "expect them to lose" or "hope they do well" at this point. If they do lose or don't play well, then at least I'm used to that feeling, so I have 2011 to thank for that.
  4. Have you been to Red Star on Greenpoint Ave by West Street? I've not been there but they show Bills and Sabres games. I know exactly where Lake Street is - I work a block from there. Didn't know they put the Bills on.
  5. In my alternate reality, TPegs would offer JBJ a boatload of dough to play at halftime of the home opener and then pull the plug after a couple notes. Hilarity. To the OP, I hate to answer a question with a question, but why would anyone want to listen to that crap in the first place?
  6. Ohh, see I usually read every page in order. I violated my own rule and skipped page 2. I could have stopped there!
  7. Lately, I read until the thread invariably turns into an EJ discussion. Sometimes it is one page, sometimes it is more.
  8. Yet they still won. It is good to have a team overcome things like that. Maybe they can make it a trend if/when it happens again.
  9. For the past week, all I've heard were people ("experts") writing off my team without even a thought. I'm psyched and I actually like our chances. It just seems that all the coverage has been so negative that I feel like I'm crazy just to think that we can win today. The keys to me on offense is for the o-line to get our running game going early. On defense, as long as our secondary keeps close coverage on their receivers it will give our pass rush plenty of time to get in Cutler's face while he's looking for an open option. And of course, on the road we can't make too many mistakes.
  10. Same here. Been down here for 21 years. I could have voted twice. I can't stand the Jets and their idiot moron fans. I couldn't care less about the Giants.
  11. So far, a B. But it does not matter until we see how he is able to adjust his game to the new "no touch" rules. That's what worries me most about this coming Sunday vs. the Bears.
  12. Bears 21 Bills 19 We score four 25 yard field goals and get a defensive TD but give up two in the air and a kickoff return.
  13. Are you sure those walls are stone? Seems like that deer managed to poke his head through with relative ease. Stupid deer, always messing up a good chair photo.
  14. I remember this story from ten years ago (not sure how to post the link). http://www.nbcnews.com/id/4096586/ns/us_news-environment/t/thar-she-blows-dead-whale-explodes/#.U2LcRqN5mSM
  15. The question is whether the trust does not want to OWN the team vs. not wanting to RUN the team. If the trust does not want to run the team, then it could enter into a license agreement with a group who would have day-to-day say over operations. The annual license fee could be an average of that past few years' net income, with increases year over year. The trust makes money and still owns the asset. The group comes in and tries to make as much money over the license fee as they can. That setup would keep the team in town and probably would not need to be scrutinized by the other owners, but in the long run it most likely would not be best for the fans' wallets.
  16. I regularly mix Kool-Aid with alcohol

  17. It is tough to tell whether his slow starts in games, bad footwork and inaccuracy was the result of only playing 9 games, and almost zero preseason, or whether it was because the line didn't give him much help or time in the pocket. Probably all of the above. I'm afraid that his progress won't be seen until halfway through the season -- after half of the fans are calling for his head. If the coaching staff keeps it pretty simple and they upgrade the line, we should be able to see if he's it. I hope like hell he is. If he avoids the terrible inside handoff to Spiller that goes nowhere and the uncatchable sideline passes downfield out of bounds, I'd say he improved. That's not asking much.
  18. Can you try to take a bit less in pay in exchange for them waiving the temp period and starting the 90 days probation immediately? You're trading pay for stability. They might go for it seeing as how you have the experience on those machines already.
  19. Not only that, they invite people to come and trudge through the (probably more heavily) polluted muck that's left behind to find lost valuables and arrowheads. Are they giving out free tetanus shots and cholera treatments?
