  1. Stefon Diggs at the end..."Tomorrow we go back to work and I got squats"... Great video...thanks for the share.
  2. You know its tough driving in snowy NC today. Dale Jr. even punched a pine tree... http://www.wral.com/dale-jr-crashes-in-snowy-weather-after-helping-other-driver/17266042/
  3. Bills just signed S Kelcie McCray to a reserve/futures contract instead..
  4. I'd say McDermott is out of the office and wants to be there for the introductory conference. Staff changes beyond this are almost certain. The buyout clause from AL was $250K so that's a pack of skittles in Pegulabucks..... Interference from the Pats is interesting...do you know something you are not telling us????
  5. A local kid from here in Wake Forest, NC. A young man with a diverse set of interests, high intellect, and high character. I cannot say enough good things about him. He has impressed a lot of the right folks in Silicon Valley. No matter what he chooses to do, he likely has a great career in front of him. He loves the game and works as hard as anyone, but its far from his only path to success.
  6. That's some strong anti-Eagles sentiment..... Thanks for sharing... The hot New England clam chowder thing made me cringe a bit...ouch
  7. The Pegula equivalent of a package of Skittles...to be used for bronze sculptures of Nick at every street corner in Tuscaloosa.
  8. Sinkhole opens up at the Razor on Sunday during the game.....consumes both teams and Belichick takes his rightful place as the Lord of Darkness.
  9. I suspect that Coach Marrone has really benefitted from having a mentor in Coughlin he can call on at any time. That was lacking with the Jets as well.
  10. I think you hit here Augie. This appeared to be an "If this guy is available, I want him", scenario for McD. He also had to swoop in quickly because there was the potential of Belichick wanting Daboll. McD had something that Belichick couldn't offer and that's being close to Daboll's older kids. Daboll has 6 kids (I think 2 in Orchard Park) and they appear to be a close-knit merged family. The attraction of having them all together was probably pretty significant. Kudos to McD for getting who he wanted and for the Pegulas for probably spending some premium coordinator money to get him. McD will have to live with the results. Coordinator hires are solely on the coach. I saw a few folks post that Dennison was a strike on McD's longevity...I think they missed the part where the Bills made the playoffs. McD has some runway but like any head coach -- he is the responsible party... I don't know much about offensive game planning...so I will not critique the hire...I will just watch the results and hope they are great!
  11. Happy Birthday, Gug!
  12. He went to St. Francis -- not exactly.....but he's still one of us :-) Totally. I heard he was told Terry likes Red Wine...sealed the deal.
  13. He's one of us....Brian Daboll is one of us.....he grew up a fan of this team. He went to school with a Polian....This is not just some run of the mill hire. This is a kid who has been to games as a fan; probably had a beer when less than legal-age at the Big Tree, tailgated with the masses. He knows our pain because he feels it. He even helped deliver some of it the last few years. No one will be more motivated to win and win big.... If he ends up sucking it won't be because he doesn't care; he is just collecting a paycheck or because he bamboozled the Pegulas....hell he probably ran around his house like we all did when Andy Dalton hit Tyler Boyd. Let's cut him some slack for a bit. He's a brother.
  14. Track record as a pro offensive coordinator -- lowest to middle tier almost every year Respected by two of the greatest football coaching and strategy minds in history Respected by former players for their development - Chandler and Bennett Multiple rings at the pro level as a position coach and now a BCS championship as a coordinator One of the top Coordinators at the pro level states that he relied upon him... Was part of comebacks in the Super Bowl (as a position coach) and the National Championship (as a coordinator) game that required adjustments on the fly Undoubtedly a Bills fan More positives than negatives He will help our draft strategy because he had to game plan against some of the top D talent in the draft... Get the hurt guys healthy (particularly Benjamin who is a walking mismatch like Gronk) and get him some more talent....and let's see what happens. I am not going to rush to judgment so I can recall this post in 12 months and pat myself on the back.
  15. Yolo--you posted in another thread that you know him, correct? Can you repost that here? It was an interesting read.
  16. Scott Chandler‏ @scottchandler84 8m8 minutes ago Scott Chandler Retweeted Buffalo Bills Daboll was one of the smartest coaches I was ever around. Great hire by the @buffalobills #Bills #billsmafia
  17. Wow.....plane stalking is a great practice.
  18. The plane left Tuscaloosa earlier than planned. It is 45 minutes away from BUF. I think McD is going on a sabbatical for a year with the Dalai Lama... He is going to build on the "player story" sharing sessions and write a dissertation. Nick is going to come coach us for the year for 20 Million Pegula bucks and then become US Ambassador to Canada....at least that's what Kelly Pegula told me.
  19. Frankish...did you tell him the standard joke.. How do you know the toothbrush was invented in New Mexico? Because if it was invented anywhere else it would have been called the teethbrush....
  20. Clean up the peanut shells and cigarette butts this time...
  21. I don't like it...but Tom Brady is the defining athlete of his generation...the Babe Ruth, the Willie Mays/Henry Aaron, the Joe Montana. My personal feeling is that I would like to see his career end by his choice...after an embarrassing loss to the Bills next year that eliminates the Pats from playoff contention and clinches the division for the Bills.
  22. I guess having someone on staff who knows the playbook -- may be part of beating the Patriots. Or Nick Saban has agreed to be our OC.....
  23. Added the tag just for you...
  24. There is a Buffalo News Story from Friday about Erin Kelly's wedding. Erin's wedding was yesterday. During the worst days of Jim's cancer treatments, one of the things that motivated him was the hope of walking his girl's down the aisle and doing the daughter-father dance at the wedding. Congratulations Jimbo and Erin! http://buffalonews.com/2018/01/12/jim-kellys-prayers-are-answered-with-his-daughters-wedding/
  25. I am certain that somewhere in Heaven today a Bear Bryant coached team is playing a Knute Rockne coached team and Keith is calling it. RIP......
