  1. Are you here all week? How's the veal??
  2. Terry: "Brandon, I am really sorry, but Bills fans have grown to love Donahoe, Levy, Brandon, Nix, Whaley--you are just too !@#$ing competent...You're fired.."
  3. "I think the Sammy Watkins move was better"
  4. I can see it...decisive, fast on the trigger, great research...dilly dilly to you being on the board..
  5. They got great value for that bridge. They may have gotten Tim Settle or DJ Chark or some other talent that falls or the deal closer on a move into the top 5. Bridges are interchangeable and in my opinion, they need one. None of these rooks should be thrown out there day one. Starting Peterman for the first 5-8 games is admitting that 2018 is not a playoff year and McD won't do that.
  6. This week will show some of the hand the Bills are planning to play. McCarron or Foles and they are not trading up. A pure one year bridge and they are trading up and the deal is likely already done... Personally if its a one-year bridge, I want a bridge who can keep the Bills competitive for the time that he has under center. Keep the Bills in the playoff hunt. McCown, Bradford fit that in my mind without having to invest more than a year. Of the two McCown would be my choice based on durability, leadership skills and the ability to be a mentor. I would even suggest committing to two years on a contract. The key is these two cost us nothing. We need to save all the draft capital to get into the top 3 and get Darnold or Rosen...
  7. Worth the watch...Crystal Marie (the anchor) is quite attractive....
  8. I think McD is probably Lay Deacon status....meaning smoking a little weed, a few blemishes are probably okay -- but you are going to have to say the Hail Mary's and show remorse... It's the forgiveness Process...
  9. and Tanner Vallejo was suspended for the bowl game his senior year...I don't think McBeane want choir boys but Bradham is a habitual offender who doesn't seem to learn his lessons... He had issues with the Bills http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/11286652/nigel-bradham-buffalo-bills-suspended-one-game And they continued with the Eagles...

  11. The Bills will need a bridge for any Rookie. The Bridges are all flawed in some way or else they wouldn't be bridges. The question really is "How long is this bridge?" If its a season or less (Rosen or Mayfield or Darnold) - Sign someone off the UFA list who won't cost much and the Bills could even go with an injury prone guy knowing the Rookie can step in -- McCown, Derek Anderson, Sam Bradford If it's potentially more than a season bridge (Allen or Jackson) that's where it gets dicey... you might be looking at Keenum, Foles or McCarron -- that's more of a pay-to-play market. The Bills will have to commit longer term resources to acquire one of these. What the Bills do next week tells us where they are going in the draft I think. This debate over the flaws of bridge QBs is a joke. They are all flawed or they wouldn't be bridges.
  12. You are arguing both sides of the fence. You want proven experience from a playoff caliber Vet so if this is an option, it seems to fit your criteria. The Bengals have $40M in cap room so they could sign McCarron and keep Dalton. So, you are going to have to pay something to get him. You would likely get Dalton for way less than Foles. I don't think you are going to get the experienced, winning vet you are looking for in the UFA market right now. Also, I was just stating there would be no cap hit to cut Dalton after year 1. It wouldn't be necessary to cut Dalton after year 1. Because the Bills would be paying 2 QBs rookie scale they would still get off relatively cheap for the position.
  13. How about a different twist. Would you trade next year's #2 and one of this year's #5's for Andy Dalton? Say Cincinnati has decided to make AJ their starter. Dalton's cap figures are in the $16 - 17 million dollar range per year for the next three years and there would be no dead cap to cut him after a year. Bills would still move up and likely would not have a #1 or #2 round pick next year....
  14. There were quite a few times where Sammy was pretty damn open and TT couldn't/didn't get the ball to him...I am sure those are indelibly burned into Sammy's mind. It could happen but his body language and expressions showed a ton of frustration when TT was QB. I will give you two...Indy or Tampa.....
  15. I also think Dave Gettleman knows...and I think Beane is playing the Giants and the Browns and even possibly the Colts against one another to get the best deal. I think the Bills have to include the 2019 #1 in any package. If teams think the Bills will badly regress next year (Vegas odds right now say the Bills are a bottom quarter of the league team), that pick is prime.
  16. Beane's a sneaky little ****...who knows what he's thinking. He is really good at double speak. It's that aw-shucks Southern thing... All we know for sure is that the Bills have one QB under contract right now and Beane said publicly he will have a vet on the roster. Is Peterman a vet? Hardly. Logic says there is something in place to sign a vet and move up in the draft. The next few weeks will be full on Beane....
  17. Welcome to TSW. Great to have you here. I would have been happy with Tre' at #10 last year based on his performance this past season. That the Bills got an extra #1 and still picked a player of Tre's quality is a huge bonus. These are the types of situations on which perennial contenders are built.
  18. Tre'davious White V???
  19. Nice Comp pick if this annual contract value is true....
  20. And she goes pretty damn fast...
  21. I expected a turd and Beane got a third....Amazing.... God bless America... Wish Tyrod the best. He is an amazing athlete...just not a great QB.
  22. No problems renewing this year from NC (11th year) but we donate our unused to Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Erie County.
  23. http://www.charlotteobserver.com/sports/nfl/carolina-panthers/article149822794.html Son, that draft pick is going to cost you....21,22, 2019 #1 and that pesky little QB you got, after you pay his bonus this year, would fit nicely as Eli's back up and a change of pace.. Dad, you got a deal...throw in that #2 in the fifth so I can tell Terry and Kim I worked today Son, done deal....you buy the first round at the owner's meeting... Win-Win Sign Josh McCown or Ryan Fitzpatrick as a one year mentor and we are done here....
