  1. Another apoligist, very nice! Let me just say, Rome thought it was impenetrable also. What happened to them? This whole, I'm gonna get mine I dont care what anyone else things generation, combined with flag football the NFL is becoming, is slowly but surely bringing the NFL down. Reverse course No Fun League, or things won't be as profitable as they are now, soon enough. Not by a long shot.
  2. HAHHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA!!!! Wait wuz not kidding? HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAA!!! We see you trolling OP!
  3. "I try to be objective I really do but this team should be 0-3 easy. It is just more of the same from Brandon and company as it was with Ralph running things, but should we have really expected different?" Stopped reading after that. Week 3 of a completely new regime. Really?
  4. I keep hearing, no one out of OBD has anything bad to say. I feel like this can be construed in another way. I don't hear any glowing remarks out of OBD either. All I hear is Marrone saying the right things to deflect problems. However, he's also given a back handed comment about how its a "condition" not and "injury". Take it for what it's worth, I think Marrone is not happy either. The Bills may have some designs to want to resign him long term next year, so they're not going to come out and say something negative toward him and burn a bridge. That makes no sense. This "condition" is something he played through, and played very well through last year. He said he has to be 100% to play, but that'll never happen with PF. A completely subjective injury doesn't sit well, its just too convienient. How can anyone use the argurment, "this is a business", well then, this is a business that is funded by what? The fans, thats right, the fans. The fans are who he should be answering to, but in this twisted messed up world, its become a business of greed. This is what's going to bring the NFL down if it doesnt get controlled, and it wont. The greed will continue, and people will continue to get turned off by crying, bickering, back and forth, and eventually the NFL will go down. Maybe not this year, not next year, but it will. These atheletes including Byrd don't care as long as the "get theirs". No one cares Jairus, get out there and play, push him out there, tell him to man the field, get everyone on the team to get in his face if he's not playing like he should. I hope he starts crying and complaining on the field. Then we'll all see what a "man" he is. Sick of this guy, if you can't see that he's faking this injury, I have a bridge to sell you. Even WGR550 this morning talked about how they can't discount that he's faking it. Unbelievable!!! /rant
  5. I dont think that would be good for humanity.
  6. Its one game guys, step away from the ledge! Its crazy how much the Jets were actually trying to give away the game, but we couldn't capitalize. Young team, we'll grow.
  7. My goodness, this board is exploding with negativity. While some is earned, I dont think the world is falling. It's only week 4 of a new regime, calm down a bit folks. Take a step back and take a deep breath!
  8. I meant in context of the message boards, but yes, I think it means that too lol
  9. Lets give this the 24 hour rule, don't respond or talk about this for 24 hours. When you can collect your thoughts. I know I know, I've broken the rules myself with this thread, but its a good idea to keep away from the ledge. We're young, growing pains are going to happen. Hopefully they're short, but we need to prepare for longer.
  10. This is really the toughest pill to swallow, but apprently he was injured. I wonder how much the death of his step father weighs on him like Dareus. Hopefully he does better post death, but people recover differently. As I remember, he was very close to this individual.
  11. It was a tough loss against a team we all thought we should destroy. It didn't happen, but that's the NFL of today, really close teams. As much as they tell us we're going to take our lumps with so many rookies, I think a lot of us try to block that out and hope the rookies become veterans faster than they are able. We're going to take our lumps with a rookie crew combined with a rookie set of coaches. We're going to be in these tough situations more often than not, most likely. You never know, we could become better quicker, but until then, lets just temper our disdain or our enthusiams, for that matter, for the coming games. If we suck, we knew it, if we get to the playoffs somehow, its cherry on top! Lets just keep our fingers crossed that the injuries are of the mild nature and they'll play sooner rather than later. Though it was hard to see megahands (Carrington) go down and be taken out by cart. As always, Go BIlls!!!
  12. Really cool video, did you take it? If so, I want to know how you were able to stay so calm. Sounds like the person making the video did not make a peep. I know its loud there but usually you'll hear the person making the video because they are the loudest due to being closest to the microphone. Awesome video though!
  13. They both pick the Jets, wow. I guess its about homefield in this one.
  14. I dont know about all of you, but everytime I watch a highlight or any throws from Geno, they don't look like frozen ropes, rather they look like floaters. The ball seems to hang in the air for longer than most. I think his arm strength is overrated. I remember seeing him in college and thinking the same thing. Seems he has a lot of touch on his passes rather than bullets.
  15. Actually, Cynical (aptly named BTW), people who went over the game tape have shown that Steve was, in fact, always open. EJ just wasn't looking his way all the time.
  16. I love these All 22 articles!!! I don't get to sit down and break it down, nice to have someone do it for me.
  17. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
  18. Oh, I thought this was going to be a question of, if Stevie caught the flu and couldn't play, would we still win? Something along those lines.
  19. Call it a sidestep if you'd like, I was explaining why its not worth fighting over. Its a belief that is based deep within that cannot be changed no matter what anyone says. Everyone has their own ideas. You're on one side or another.
  20. I'm not trying to paint anyone in a negative light, just saying this is the reason for the major discrepency in ideas. Just because a player has not shown the propensity in the past, does not mean their true colors will not show when the all mighty dollar is on the line.
  21. Those who seem to be in Byrds camp use the argument, it's his last payday so he should act like a nancy silly boy who pouts. Never mind there are rules in place. Never mind he's getting paid top dollar to play this year (at least top 5). I opine that this goes further than the Bills and Byrd, this has to do with underlying ideas, of designs of which each one of us have. They affect how we see the world and we make our opinions and judgments on these paradigms. I feel that I stand for the "common sense" be a man and act like a man school of thought. Go out there and show why you're worth that top dollar. When life gives you a lemon, don't go out sit and pout, lie, and become a nuisance to get out of the situation. Buck up and go to work, get the job done, and in the end, everything will work itself out. Stop with the excuses. The problem, in my eyes, is that society has moved away from that idea. They would rather scratch and claw for every last "all mighty dollar" because "that's how it should be, and that’s how you'd all act". Nonsense, I would not act in that way, and who are you to say I would act in that fashion? It's a difference in paradigms that will not be hashed out on a Bills board, because this is one where a person is so steadfastly attached to your own ideas they are unshakable. It comes from the type of person your parents brought you up to be. It comes from the experiences you have had, the religion you followed or did not follow when you grew up. This is a microcosm of what the US is these days. We've become a nation of me me me, and a nation of entitlement. It's a sad state of affairs, and it's not worth hashing anymore. This is my stance on it, and its unshakable. All of the excuses those Byrd apologists have made are just that, excuses, and they don't make it right. Sorry if this seems a bit political, it was not meant to be, just an explanation why people on both sides of the subject will never see eye to eye.
  22. Do you recognize the nature of the injury? It's all subjective. How do you know its NOT that easy as other posters have suggested? You don't, it's all subjective and that's why this stinks of an acting job.
