  1. The DJ's. Short for Doug's (Marrone) J's (EJ, CJ, TJ, SJ, FJ). Plays on a couple levels, the names, and when they come together and mix it up on the field, its a symphony (incert what type of music you will) of a play. I know, stretching it...I'm bored much like the rest of you.
  2. I dont know man, I have metal around the house in various places. Whether it be a door knob, or dishwasher, or what have you, none of my metal makes that noise. You must have one noisy house!
  3. He's been a consistent kicker for a decade, good luck to you Mr. Lindell!
  4. I'm fully aware of the idea the NFL is trying to make more money. Still doesn't make it right!
  5. Wow, I enjoyed that article!! Love me some Kyle Williams...players have come and gone, but he's been the one constant who is consistently great.
  6. I'm not arguing with you, what sense does that make? You obviously don't make those decisions, as much as I wish you might! I was just airing my frustrations. Does it make sense to consider NFLN as a national TV type channel when you have to pay for it in order to get it? To me that doesn't make sense, but as you say, it will fall on deaf ears.
  7. I don't consider NFLN a national TV network like I do a CBS or Fox or something like that. ESPN falls on the border of exceptable, because you can't usually pick it up with rabbit ears, in my opinion. Why would NFLN games be blacked out? That doesnt make sense to me.
  8. Just as I suspected, too long or too incoherent and off topic for anyone to respond to my last two posts lol
  9. To expand on this, we need to look at the nature of the NFL these days. Top players are much more likely to go to a contender when money is the same or even a little less with the contender. This is not how it used to be. Players used to take pride in "turning a team around". It seems, more and more, players want to take the easy road and go to the Pats for instance because it gives them the best chance to win. This makes it harder and harder for perenial losers to get better quicker. Anyway, I'm getting off on a tangent. Tuel looked good, and though I didn't say anything at the time of this thread (I dont think?), I always thought that Tuel might have had something to do with it. You don't drop a veteran QB if the 4th stringer is horrible.
  10. I may be wrong, but I think the law of averages only apply when all things are equal. We all know that coming to Buffalo is not equal as we need to overpay. I think we need to get lucky vs coming back to the avearge because there are some confounding factors, such as the on I indicated, that cause things to be skewed. Thus, the law of averages do not apply the Buffalo Bills. Sorry for making your head hurt...
  11. I dont think that was in dispute. Also, he's talking presently, not drudging up the past. Are you not a fan of C Buscuit or something?
  12. Thanks for the insight homey! I'll have to replay the game and see if I can see what you're saying. Sounds like you have a lot of techinical football knowledge. Coach?
  13. You sound confident that they weren't holding him back. Do you know something I dont know?
  14. Yes, my origional statement was complete speculation and was not meant to be presented as "fact". Just a devils advocate approach.
  15. What if Hackett's reasoning was he KNOWS Manuel can throw the deep pass. He does that so well in practice. What if Hackett wanted to see how he handled the short to intermediate passes because that's where he has struggled at times? Hasn't he over thrown recievers on the short to Intermediate passes? I can only go by what others (Astro) say about camp, but that was a vibe I was getting. Maybe its as simple as that?
  16. This has got to be sarcasm right? Please please please tell me it is... ROFL!!!
  17. Wow! I can't wait to see the Bills one after tmw afternoon!
  18. Lol, your avatar is a classic, makes me chuckle every time I see that picture! Fitzy wasn't too bad at scrambling and getting some tough yards, but EJ certainly is on another level when it comes to scrambling. I just hope he's a passer that runs when in trouble, rather than the reverse, in the NFL.
