So you're just proving my point, Byrd is a downright liar and needs to be on the field. Hes not the character guy that a lot of people thought he was. He needs to be on the field, that's it. I'm wondering exactly what point you're trying to get at? 6.9 million financial reward

2 word injury report of an injury that is subjective to the person who has the injury. The only person that can say he's ready is Byrd. To the point that Byrd has nothing to gain, I categorically disagree. He has played very well over the last few years, he miraculously gets better after not playing an entire season with the Bills and working out in the offseason. Now he works out with some teams and show's them he can be where he was. Or, he's going to wait for the last few games to lower his chances of injury. There are ways this is adventageous to him. To opine that there is nothing good that can come from him faking his injury is downright proposterous.

The bolded is a rediculous statement. So you're saying he wont play now because he has PF and he's afraid he's going to die because of it? Also, THE BILLS ARE PAYING HIM 6.9 MIL!!! Thats not nothing! It doesnt go both ways anymore. If he's lying, then he's nothing more than a robber, he's pulling a heist.

Hindsight is 20/20 isnt it? This just has the smell of lies. It's just TOO convienient of an injury. One that he was able to play with last year. One that is wholly dependant on the person to say when he's ready and when he's not. You would be a fool not to see that (not callilng you out specifically). Over the summer it appears there was nothing but acrimony on the Byrd camp, and they wouldn't even reach out for a negotiation as it was reported. Now they didn't get what they wanted and it appears they are pouting like babies because they didnt get their way. Byrd has to expect that he's going to get flack for this. To me, it's more likely he's trying to not have an injury. However, if it turns out to be that he has a real injury (which cannot be quantified mind you), he cant really blame the fans either. The fans are not wrong in feeling this way.

This is what is so maddening about this situation. You would think a person with his "character", as some have said he has, would not have the ability or want to lie about this. He would want to be out there and earn his worth. He says his PF is causing him to not be able to play, but guess what, he's played with it even last year. At a very high level at that. Get on the field you filthy liar. /rant

That play where he put the football down and kept his footing, ran out of bounds. HUGE play on that drive. Very smart to get out of bounds on that one.
