  1. I think this is going a little too far. It seems as though you're heaping all the blame of our losing seasons on SJ. I don't believe the blame falls squarely on any one person, let alone SJ. SJ has done nothing but produce year after year. Is he the top WR1 in the league, no, but he can run with the best of them, save for maybe Megatron (but who's in his class anyway?). This seems like a case of misplaced blame. Do you have a personal vendetta against him? Did he do something to you? He's just having some fun. As long as he's not breaking the law, i'll enjoy his antics. They're fun and light hearted. Also, Stevie is a great ambassador of Bills. I've never seen him say a single bad thing, only offer glowing reviews and wears his allegence on his sleeve. I love me some Stevie.
  2. I'm one of those who would hope it means that it would be the latter as it would be a team-wide benefit. That would mean that as good as Stevie is, the others are just better. In that case, WATCH OUT NFL!!!
  3. I'll add that I think there's a radical element out there that still wishes to see Stevie fall flat, only because, he is immature. To those I would say, who's the immature one, the one wishing he fell hard, or Stevie? Stevie has his fun, but as I've said earlier, he's a hard worker (nevermind that he doesnt work in the offseason, that was debunked) and he does what he has to on the field.
  4. There's no denying that, but, he's our best reciever. He does what he has to game in and game out. To me he's a gamer. If we have to deal with a little side show act here and there, so be it.
  5. I can't see it at work, what is it? Please describe, I MUST KNOW!!!
  6. This. I've heard of problems in the sophomore years, however, this would be epic fail in the second year. I'd have to believe this won't be the case or we're doomed!
  7. Who's this Elmo guy? He must be working for the Pat's. He's shilling for the Pats, he must go along with Beerball (and maybe Eball which has been suggested). Down with the Gestapo!!!
  8. You shouldn't apologize, because, Homey D. Clown don't play that!!!
  9. I hate the Cowgirls, but that's pretty cool! I wish our owner had a ring or two he could let me wear if I met him.
  10. Well that was obvious, what with all the turnover at OBD. Bellicheck is a genius!
  11. I didn't know what to expect opening this thread. I have no idea who the OP, but it appears that some of the most well respected posters are eating up everything he's said, so I guess he's credible then. No "link or it didn't happen" here. I like what he has to say, he sounds like he has all the ducks in a row. Sounds like he know's what he wants to do and how he wants to do it. If something doesn't go as planned, he sounds like he has the abliity to adapt. Something that has been lacking at the coaching position for some years now. I for one cannot wait for the start of the season!! GO BILLS!!!
  12. So, if he gets an interception when we are leading it doesnt count for much is what you're saying? How about when we're up by 6 with 2 mins or less to play and he gets an INT? What then? Still doesn't count for much?
  13. This is not good, sounds like its one and done or sign and trade.
  14. To me, the origional assertion is a bit of a reach. I think he's alluding more to the idea that they had no "one" starting QB due to injuries etc. It caused discontinuity and they could never get a rhythm. Its not that he's badmouthing Kolb per se, just the QB carousel they had last year.
  15. Sorry, I meant he has shown his potential, but I think he has a higher ceiling we havent seen. Namely because he hasn't gotten the touches. He has a chance to be markedly better this year with more touches. Sorry for the confusion sir! I never made him public enemy number 1. We're obviously not talking just the TOP 5 BILLS!!! We're adding potential which changes things. What is not understood here in the bolded part above? My origional list was made with this in mind. If you want my TOP 5 Bills 1. Jairus Byrd 2. CJ Spiller 3. Mario Williams 4. Stevie Johnson 5. Gillmore That's my straight up TOP 5.
  16. What more do I need to say other than I weighed more heavily on upside, and Byrd has met his potential or has a little more. We know what he is. Not saying he's not a great player at all!
  17. 5. Aaron Williams- new position, seemingly suited for his skill set. Looks good in training camp. 4. Stevie Johnson - With a new QB seemingly able to get him the ball, I would like to see what he has. 3. Big Daddy - I agree, he has a clear head, and should break out. 2. CJ Spiller - Already has shown us the potential he has, how much more can he show? 1. Stephon Gillmore - "The Leap" ..and bounds into stardom Notable absences from the list: Mario Williams - we know what he's got, and his talent should get him on the list alone, however I leaned more heavily on the upside part. Jairus Byrd - great player, I think we've seen the best he can put forth (which is very good from a ballhawk standpoint).
  18. So, what does "Play like a Bill" mean anyway? That was the question he posed on last nights show. I'm interested in what TBD thinks it means. I think, like one of the people who called in, it harkens back to the early 90s Bills. Namely "The Comback", the lunch pail, never give up attitude the city exhumes during that time period. A lot of players on the Bills will not remember those days, and will only remember the Bills who have stubled, bumbled, and fumbled over the last 13 years. We MUST embody the magic that was created back then, and finish the job this time!
  19. Much like a green thumb means you know your way around gardening, green ears means you know your way around the football fields errrr, ur or something like that. I think. See my next post (a few posts from the one you quoted)
  20. I dont know, been staring at the picture for quite some time. Gotta be a stunt double.
  21. My goodness, Brad Pitt has really gotten into character. The guy is a genious! Completely changed the way he looks for the part. He truly looks like a Bill's rookie. Bravo!
