  1. The guy is smooth and passionate. Good guy to have on the team.
  2. C'mon guys, this is apples and oranges and you know it. Jamarcus is much younger and has less years between snaps. I understand you're trying to be funny but there is no comparison. Those other players have not announced they plan to return, and they're so old, not even Bills fans would be saying to sign them. All I'm saying is the whole, "leave no stone unturned" idea. Maybe not bring him in to camp, just go visit him, give him a pro day type of workout and see what he does. That's it and that's all.
  3. I think this is going to start becoming the norm, more and more in years ahead. More white people are going to sue because they are getting passed up for promotions because of reverse descrimination. Fact of the matter is, I did not enslave anyone, I did not oppress anyone, I did not segregate anyone, but I suffering the consequences. It's not like my ancestor's minds continue on with me or on with my children. Cmon, this who affirmative action thing has to go. It makes no sense.
  4. This is what I've been saying since the Glennon calls started happening mid fall. I live in Raleigh, he's a slow, pocket passer, that dissapears in big games, and crumbles when behind. STAY AWAY till after the 4th rd.
  5. I, for one, am not lusting, just saying he is worth a look. Do I expect that he'll become the second coming of *place whatever comeback player you wish*, no, but you never know. Doesn't hurt to leave "no stone unturned". /thread
  6. I figured you'd throw something out there like this. However, I'm sure this is much different taking into account the number of years between NFL snaps. We'll have to just agree to disagree, we're never going to agree, we're just on opposite sides of the spectrum. I think my points are valid, but I think your points are valid also, its just a difference of opinion rather than fact. I still say we should have a look.
  7. Ok, well, maybe a visit by our scouts like I put in another post in response to a post by another member. Due dillegence is needed at the least. Maybe he's serious, his history says he's not, but worth a look IMO.
  8. I DONT buy the idea, because we had Vyoung and Tjax that we did not go out there and find another good arm. If there was an arm out there deemed better than the two, I have to believe, a coach trying to keep his job, would have gone out there and cut one of the two. Or just never went after Tjax. Obviously the market for quality QBs werent good. Sure, you can pick your favorite Bills FA or draft pick last year and you can go off your own subjective reasoning why you think a certain QB was better than Tjax or Vyoung but that does not mean you were correct. We will never know if, said QB you think would have been. I'm willing to be Gailey and co., though not successful in the past few years, has light years more football knowledge than anyone on this board. Gailey didn't see other QBs as a fit. So, back to the point at hand, its rediculous to think that they would not bring in a QB that they thought was better regardless of who's on roster, that's proposterous. I get the idea that there are limitations, obviously less snaps to go around with more arms in camp. There are preliminary camps before the actual training camp leading up to the season. Are you saying we cant bring him in and have a look? How about the Bills just send a scout or two and just have a private workout with him, see how he's doing and make a decision whether its worth going forward and bringing him? If not, just forget about it and move forward without him. Would that make you feel better? Fact is, he was a number one pick, obviously he has the talent, he just needs the drive, and he's telling us that he's ready to make football his number one. Might as well have a look, what's wrong with due dilegence?
  9. You completely disregarded what I said secondly. I can only speak for myself, but I wouldn't mind as many arms in TC as possible to duke it out. Why not a former 1st rd pick with a chip on his shoulders? I'm not saying he's an improvement, just some more camp fodder that can turn into more if he has the burn and drive.

  11. Let me get this staright, you think having VYoung and Tjax is the reason why we weren't looking to upgrade at the position? That's a rediculous assertion. The more arms in camp the better for competition. If he's serious, why not just give him a look, if he just isnt cutting it, well then, cut him. Why is bringing in a 1st round bust trying to make a return to the NFL with a chip on his shoulder to prove the critics wrong, a bad thing?
  12. Its going to be hard to erase memories of the massive dumps he took all over the Oakland Raider's organization. That said, doesn't hurt to bring someone in who is looking for a second chance and seems driven. Whether its sincere or just a house of cards can be determined during the workout.
  13. No you're not the only one, and I'd like that 5 mins of my time back.
  14. Or, for quickly ending the discussion and Byrd's agent ROFLOTD (Rolling on floor laughing out the door) to another team **provided there is no franchise tag enacted by the Bills of course
  15. Even redder now apparently. People these days, I tell ya...
  16. I knew what his reference was, I guess I just didn't find it too funny. His Avatar makes me laugh though, is it your mug shot?
  17. Who cares anymore, they're gone. I wanted the continuity, but that's not going to happen. We have an exciting young coach now and hopefully he proves the BB front office correct. Sooner rather than later.
  18. I actually agree with this quote, and is the reason why I was thinking continuity was the way to go. However, it does not matter now I guess. I'm sticking with the Bills and their pick ups and catiously optimistic we are going in the right direction and are not going to fall into the class of coaches who fail their first time. Please please please let us be the exception rather than the rule!!!
  19. I'm excited, for one, to see if they apply this and how successful it is. At least it's something new!
  20. Yeah, Cleveland played better as the season progressed, I'll give you that, we weren't arguing that however. The Bills have more overall talent, IMO, than either of those two teams. KC, that's a laugh, KC really isn't that good with or w/o a QB.
  21. I don't get it either. It's the Bills though, always overlooked.
  22. He may be just saying that off of the game he just watched, but I've been saying this all season when his name comes up. He's slow, he makes bad decisions, nothing he does jumps out at you. I live in Raleigh and go to games, I've seen him, we don't want him anywhere near the first 3 rds!
