  1. Seems to be the feeling amongst the fans when this topic has come up in the past. We have a pretty good core on our line, he would likely be a rotational guy to start out if he sticks. The coaches saw something, but they have been labeled as inept, so I guess we'll find out.
  2. Sorry if this topic has been hashed out but I did not see it on the message board when I scoured. I'm excited to see what Troupe has to offer! Listening to Murph this morning, on the Bills website, he had Troupe in for an interview. It seems Troupe has not been healthy since his 2011 back surgery, though he's attempted to get back into it. On the show, he says he's completely healthy now and has been practicing since end of year last year. This is a kid, that has had some bad luck with his freak back injury, but the coaches saw something before the back problems happened and kept him on board. I wonder if what he showed prior to his injury, will show up on Sundays this season, or will it be the end of the line for him with the new regime? He sounds like he's working hard, and I hope he sticks and finally shows us what he's all about! Thoughts?
  3. This is no surprise, RB is the least of our worries, and is likely the most powerful position we have.
  4. Here's my take on it. I think the Bills fully intend to have EJ ride the pine for most if not all of 2013 season. However (and I may be over thinking this), who is more suited to play like EJ would play? In my eyes, that would the Jackson. They could still run most of what they want to run with EJ with TJ. Though I think Kolb is the better QB, TJ would be able to run an offense that is suited for EJ and thus EJ can learn from Jackson and his triumphs and mistakes. Then when EJ is ready, he already know's what its going to look like. I know this is not the approach most people are taking, but this would make sense. That's why I chose TJ to hold it down before EJ gets a shot.
  5. I really don't understand how you can say we panicked when we had all the QBs available to pick at 16. They believe in EJ, they believe in him enough to pick him at 16. Why is that panicking?
  6. That's not even funny. C'mon man, don't wish those bad vibes on EJ.
  7. I'm indifferent, not mad about the pick but not angry about it. I would have felt this way with just about any of the players the Bills would have chosen to pick. I hope EJ has a hell of a career here in Buffalo, and wish him nothing but the best. Go Bills! Welcome to Buffalo EJ, Jim Kelly has a pair of shoes he'd like you to wear. Can you live up to it?
  8. Slow as molasses...flustered under pressure. I live in Raleigh and have seen many of his games. No thanks.
  9. ROFL at all the posters so far, I mirror all of your responses. Oh to be a Bills fan..
  10. I dont believe it was an "unless" we sign him, I think he said "when" we sign him. Made it sound like a forgone conclusion.
  11. That's pretty hilarious though...I know it rubbed people the wrong way, but its a damn joke! Cmon "PC" country!
  12. I see what you did there Fitz and fits in the same post. Not too impressive, but I see what you were trying to do there...
  13. I like the move, eases the need for a QB a bit, and makes other teams think twice about who we might take. Maybe makes it more viable for us to trade down.
  14. I don't think Carson Palmer was the problem on Oakland actually, he had a pretty good season, that team just isn't that good. He would be a good stop-gap to let a rookie learn the ropes. I know I know, there are plenty of examples where college players stepped right in and did a great job last year, but that, to me, over the bigger picture, is the exception rather than the rule. This year just happened to have more than one that made the leap easily. I'm for Palmer, and believe he has more in the tank than many give him credit for. Better than any QB we've had in the last 10 years. Why not?
  15. I remember talking about how it was going to be a rebuilding year if we let Chan go. It's going to start the cycle again. People flamed me hardcore, but it seems it's happening. However, I'm not giving up on them yet. Even if they don't have another FA come in, and they don't bring in a QB in the early rounds (though I do think they will), I am going to take a wait and see approach. We don't know why coach Marrone and company decided to stay this quiet, and the plan very well may come to light when the season comes. He has done nothing to lose my trust yet, until we see what he can do on Sundays. Lets give this regime the benefit of the doubt right now. A short leash benefit of the doubt, but the benefit of the doubt none-the-less. Go Bills!!!
  16. Why, don't mind if I do, thank you good sir!
  17. I heard one of them was supposedly going to be in the Raleigh/Durham area. That would be sweet, seeing as how I live here.
  18. In the movie, its also based on advanced matrix, unknown to the others. We probably got the advanced knowledge from the astroid that fell from the sky in Russia. Yes, we have Bills spies over there, they're everywhere. That's the story and I'm sticking to it!
