Fans are not allowed to criticize/question the man in charge of one of the worst offences in the past 50 years? We are just supposed to assume he’s doing his job correctly because we can’t come up with a professional solution? Who are we we to criticize right. Give Gruden some time before writing him off. He’s got 5 first rounders the next 2 years. If he can hit on some of those, the raiders will be just fine. I also think he finds Carr’s replacement soon enough

Milano? Probably will always be a descent player but not great Dawkins? Same as Milano. Phillips? Hard to judge now. Looks serviceable . Thats basically it though.

In this comparison it does mean something though. The Astros had elite level young talent. They were Can’t miss players that were drafted top 3 in consecutive drafts. A mid 3rd round pick that looks “descent “ does not compare to the elite young talent the astros had. Most teams have 2nd and 3rd round picks that are descent players who could have promising futures.

I personally wouldn’t say Phillips, Johnson, Milano and Dawkins are “high end” talent. They are mostly mid round picks. They are playing well for the most part I will give them that. But they aren’t high first round talent/potential like the Astros had, as that was the comparison in this thread.

His team his awful. I don’t think any QB can overcome that. Even Drew Brees (one of the best QBs of all time) has missed the playoffs with more talented rosters than the colts have now.
