  1. That's exactly it. People were complaining about TT and rightfully so against the Saints as he was awful, but the defence is by far the biggest issue on this team right now. 1 punt in 2 games they have forced, including when teams were literally just trying to run it in the 4th quarters of those games
  2. Don't mean to ruin crash your post as it is a good assessment, but to your last point what process are we talking about here? This trust the process thing for me is getting old as I see no positive direction
  3. Hahaha I was literally thinking of the same song when I read the title
  4. I honestly think that is the lamest excuse out there for them being bad. The defence has forced I think 1 three and out the past 3 games? And that was because Rivers missed a wide open Allen on 3rd down. We talk about the offence going 3 and out and rightfully so, but the same thing should be directed towards the defence You know god forbid they actually forced a punt or two in the first half I would possibly buy this theory by saying they got tired in the 2nd half, but it literally took them almost 2 full games to force a punt
  5. Fair enough but that's not really what I'm referring too. He was talking about ending the drought and I basically said whether its Peterman or TT, or really any QB, if the Bills don't fix their defence they won't be going on any run
  6. Did you forget to mention that the Bills defence can't stop a nose bleed?
  7. Disagree. They are doing it to a much lesser extent. That game against Tampa TT was in shotgun a lot of the game and they did a lot of zone read running. Then he was back under centre a lot the next 3 games. Either way you slice it, their run game numbers are way down from the past 2 years. And a big reason is because they run the ball with TT under centre a lot, with a zone blocking scheme that doesn't suit this offence. Exactly!
  8. Starting Peterman in hindsight over TT was a very dumb decision if you think that gave the Bills the best chance to win. If he thought that fine. It didn't work out but own up to it. Don't give a b.s quote like "I don't regret the decision I regret the result".. pretty much saying he made the right decision and the players didn't execute. If he wants to start Peterman for the future then don't lie to the players and fans saying he's trying to win now. He handled this situation terribly all around. Especially when he says TT is his starter then goes to Peterman 2 days later. He is coming across as a phony on so many levels
  9. I hope not. They have to spend their money on the front 7 and O line. Yes McCoy is getting older but running backs are a dime a dozen and they can easily pick one up for very cheap. (Late round pick either this year or next)
  10. But there are big problems with that. He said they are trying to win now and in the future. Putting Peterman in to win now was a terrible move. And putting him in for the future contradicts what he said about winning this year. Either way you slice it, he either made a terrible mistake by putting in Peterman to win now... Or he lied to his team and his fans by saying they are trying to win now and then puts Peterman in for the future. Almost certainly he put him in because he somehow thought he gave them the best chance to win. No way he would play for the future when they were 5 and 4 in a weak AFC
  11. Not being critical, just stating facts. You are saying he owned the decision if I read that right? He didn't at all is what I'm saying. That's pretty inarguable by his post game quotes
  12. Ya depending how the defence plays. If they play like the last 3 games they will lose out. But of course I don't think they continue that horrid streak as they have been historically bad
  13. Well of course it didn't work out the way he wanted lol. It couldn't have gotten much worse at that. He did make the wrong decision and he hasn't really owned it. What was his quote. "I don't regret the decision, I regret the result?". Basically saying he still thinks it was the right move starting Peterman and not admitting it was wrong.
  14. You are being optimistic haha. I think the Bills will win one more game max. They are the worst team in football right now
  15. Mcd is a phony in my books. I love how after the Saints game he says TT is the starter and then he goes to Peterman. Just jerking his players around. If he wasn't sure who to start, all you got to say is a cliche answer. "We will evaluate every position including quarterback". Really not that difficult
  16. I think the talent was pretty similar to be honest. Offensive line they had injuries last year as well. Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't wood miss the last 6 or 7 games or so, and I believe cordy glenn was in and out of the lineup as well. Once again correct me if I'm wrong but I think that was the case. Miller is not a fit for his scheme, and it also appears that the whole offence isn't with the exception of maybe dawkins and incognito. Once again I will put blame on Rico for that because there was no reason to completely chance the offence from last year, especially the run game. Take out the Wrs and a backup RB and lets focus on the run game. How do you explain the massive drop off in rush yards from the past 2 seasons to this year? 1 and 2 ranked the past 2 years to average now. You can say O line all you want, but they had injuries as well last 2 years so that cant be an excuse. I`ll explain the massive drop off. Rico Dennison and his zone run scheme that are not meant for his players. He is a stubborn old school coach who doesn't seem to adjust. And the reason why they ran well against Tampa? Because it actually looked similar to last years run scheme. Then he stopped doing it for whatever reason
  17. Yep. It also seems like he has a bit of an ego. So by starting TT next week, he would pretty much be admitting his decision to start Peterman was wrong. For me it is a no brainer to go back to TT but let's see what happens
  18. Ya I'll agree to that. I think he bails them out slightly more though
  19. Agreed. Funny cause lots of people think TT makes the line look bad but I think its the exact opposite like you stated. Yes he takes a lot of sacks, but he also avoids multiple sacks every single game
  20. You are right that they are light years away but I would still get a QB in the first round next year if they like someone
  21. Ok factoring every game in they are the 30th ranked defence instead of having the worst defence. Sorry that I cherry picked those stats to make him look like a bad defensive coach..
  22. I think having a potential franchise QB is more appealing than a few weapons though
