  1. Good point. It kind of reminds me of what Mcvay did. Except the opposite side of course. He is an offensive wizard everyone knows that by now. So he takes care of the offence, he hires Wade Phillips to take care of the defensive side, and uses tons of investments to get Talib, Peters, Suh, Nickell Robey, Fowler etc.
  2. I made this point a few days ago. Mcd is coaching in the wrong era. He would have probably been a good coach 10-15 years ago. Cause he can coach defence very well. But I think he is too old school in his way of thinking, and there is no secret he has a very hard time identifying good offensive talent
  3. Crap we need Dallas to win cause Tennessee might be a threat to the Bills for the last wild card spot!
  4. Haha ya sorry I just accidentally quoted the whole thing lol. And true. But I will argue that 2015 and 2018 is a massive difference in terms of the rules for the offence. Even though it is only 3 years, things have changed so much. And thanks Alpha, you as well! Always respect your posts and comments
  5. I’m not saying defence isn’t part of success. It is. But it’s just not as important as having a modern day 2018 offence and it’s not as important as it was 15 years ago. You can win a super bowl by having an average defence or even mediocre. You just can’t win by having an average offence any more
  6. If you look at the top teams in the league in 2018, they all have offensive coaches. Saints- Payton Rams- McVay Eagles- Pederson Chiefs- Andy Reid Patriots- I really cant say Belichick as a defensive head coach is the difference. He’s a brilliant coach of course and brings so many intangibles, but the reason the Pats are good this year is Brady. Their defence is actually one of the worst In football. I am not saying you can’t win with a defensive head coach. But In an offensive league where you will have to score 30 plus points to win a lot of games, I would prefer the Bills taking their chances by getting an offensive guy to take the reigns.
  7. So why is Lafleur a hot condidate to become a HC next year? Nothing impressive/creative at all IMO
  8. Ya didn’t he get offered like a 3 year 18 mil contract or something ?
  9. Lame matchup tonight. Let’s hope it’s a good game
  10. All true Alpha. But in regards to your example with Trubisky, Chicago fired John Fox and brought in an offensive head coach that brought talent with him. I think that’s precisely what a lot of fans here want. (Even me to a certain degree) To try and replicate the path the Bears went.
  11. Thank god! Now we finally we have a modern day offence that scores lots of points!
  12. He actually said that? What in God’s name. I guess I’m not surprised he said that as he values culture over talent
  13. All part of the plan. The process was to get blown out every 2nd game this year and set offensive lows since the 1940S. All part of 4D chess we are playing. #trusttheprocess
  14. I understand. But let’s be honest, 3 or 4 of those wins they had no business winning. The ball just bounced their way last year. Finally. I don’t think 2017 should be really considered when making a decision for Beanes or Mcds future.
  15. Serious question and not trolling. If Dalton doesn’t complete that throw to Boyd, do you change your views on Mcd and Beane? Because IMO the Bills playoffs was a complete fluke last year because of so many factors, and them making the playoffs in 2017 is irrelevant to the potential success for the future . In my opinion.
  16. Lol never angry. Just very disappointed with the state of the team and It would not break my heart if there were major changes. I think that's pretty reasonable to say
  17. 28 wins over 4 years would still probably be better than what management has set us up for lol
  18. Fair points and I would say that’s pretty accurate
  19. I would say point number 1 is fairly accurate
  20. It was sarcasm lol
  21. Ya exactly. Guys like Matthew Slater. They always seem to make a big play on special teams at least once a game
  22. I understand that this is way down the list in terms of the Bills problems right now, but it still is a problem. I can't remember ever seeing the Bills special teams this bad... -Terrible kick/punt returns -Fumbles/muffs on kickoffs and punts -Blocked punt -Fumbled snap by punter (1 or 2 times, I can't remember) -Lack of communication (When Bojorquez thought it was a fake field goal) -Difficult time covering punts and kickoffs -Dumb and undisciplined penalties -Shanked punts Did I miss anything? Their only somewhat saving grace is Hauschka as that guy is a machine. Not sure if it is coaching, or players, or both, but either way something has to change with this special teams next year
  23. Haha let’s give him a huge extension with lots of guaranteed money! I don’t know lol. If Mccloud is supposedly better than the PS players, it’s hard to make a case that these guys even have the slightest ability
