  1. Imagine Brees and Brady in the same division as the Bills for close to 15 years.. What a nightmare that would be. Not that the last 15 years haven’t been a nightmare or anything lol
  2. The Andrew luck haters have been pretty quiet recently!
  3. Or you could say it the other way. Chargers only have 2 losses, both close games against the rams and chiefs. Both Super Bowl contenders
  4. Once again, not sure why people care about his business decision as it doesn't effect you in anyway. It was HIS choice. This is the way he probably saw it. 1. He signs the tag, plays well, stays healthy, and signs a long term contract in the offseason with another team. That's the ideal scenario 2. He signs the tag, gets tons of carries, gets a serious injury, and now enters free agency as a 27 year old RB whos injured and has a TON of miles on him. I can definitely see why he chose to sit out from a business standpoint. OK he lost 14 mil this year. But he would have lost possibly a lot more if he blows an Achilles or ACL. The perfect example is Earl Thomas. We'll see how much it effects him going into FA. If he gets like a 1 or 2 year deal with barely any guarantees, then Bell absolutely made the right decision from the business side. I understand Thomas is 3 years older than Bell, but it is all relative in terms of position as most RBS don't get big contracts heading into their late 20s, especially coming off a big injury.
  5. Different scenarios: 1. He’s a RB- It’s not a high value position so if he were to get badly injured his value would diminish big time. 2. He has tons of miles on him and the Steelers would surely add another 300 plus touches this year to him. At the end of the day Its a BUSINESS decision for him. Don’t understand why people care so much. He can do whatever he wants as it’s his career. He had no obligation to sign the franchise tag. If the Steelers wanted him that bad then they should have offered him to a long term contract with guaranteed money
  6. Ya that’s true. But he was going to be the Bengals 3rd stringer even if he didn’t get hurt. Jeff Driskoll or whatever his name is beat him out for the backup job
  7. Oh wow. I didn’t even know he died
  8. If he got badly injured it wouldn’t be impossible. If he didn’t then yes it would be
  9. Pretty accurate. Seems like a hard worker, a good dude and all. Just not meant to play QB in the NFL
  10. He’s going to be making more than 3 years 40 million... You don’t think him and his agent have calculated every single move out? I can almost guarantee he knows roughly how much he will be making in his next contract, and he knew the risk/reward if he was to get hurt or not and how it would effect the future contract.
  11. He’s the biggest drama queen
  12. Way more that goes into it. 1. Health 2. Wear and tear 3. He’s now going into free agency fully healthy with less wear and tear, and he’s absolutely going to break the bank. 4. If he gets hurt this year while having another year of wear and tear on his body, his value plummets. Especially as a soon to be 27 year old running back. 14 mil would be absolutely nothing compared to the value he would lose if he got hurt.
  13. Oh ya that’s right. If I recall though, wasn’t it basically like a 2 year deal cause the guaranteed money was pretty low?
  14. I don’t think anyone is saying Bell is a class act lol. We are just saying it could be a potentially smart BUSINESS move to not play this year.
  15. What was the initial offer? I don’t remember it
  16. I understand that. But that still doesn’t factor in all the touches he would have had and a risk of injury. His value would greatly diminish if he was going into free agency with another 200/300 plus touches and ending off with an injury. Especially as a RB
  17. In the short term obviously the better decision would be to sign the tag and play for the 14 mil. But in the long term we just don't know yet. It Is impossible to say right now whether it was the right decision or not. All Bell knows is he is going into free agency healthy with a year less of wear and tear, and he knows he's going to break the bank.
  18. If they can add a good number 2 corner via free agency or draft, this defence should be lethal next year
  19. Still crazy that he forfeited over 14 Million.
  20. I would say Shaq. Zay looks competent now. Shaq is actually an impact player now.
  21. Lock up Nate the great to a long term contract with incentives that would pay him an extra 100k per game for not throwing a pick six in a game
  22. I believe it’s the NFC east for next year. And the NFC west in 2020
  23. Honestly who cares. Why are you so obsessed with this individual?
